Great location in Amsterdam.
The stairs from the street level up to our room on the second floor were extremely steep. The Booking.com description did not state the stairs would be.

Quite deep and narrow stairs.

The room was big and bright. The facilities were clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect; just outside of the busy touristy area, however still central to everything. Michel was absolutely lovely and incredibly welcoming.
The stairs are very steep, but as long as you expect it, it’s fine! I had a very heavy 23Kg suitcase and got up and down perfectly fine (with the help of my boyfriend)

Very clean and comfortable room, no breakfast included but the pancake place on the corner was excellent. NB the stairs are steep and we were glad not to have large cases, but Michel was very helpful with these and restaurant recommendations too.

Location was important to us and nine streets was ideal. Although it was busy during the day the evening was quiet which was great. Michel was an excellent host and greeted us on arrival and helped to carry our luggage up the stairs ☺️
There was nothing we didn’t like.

The bed, the location, the owner Michel, the bathroom, the fact it had a fridge in the room. Everything was so lovely and cosy everything was clean and the decor was also really nice. I've stayed here before and would stay here every time if I could.

Nice room in the center, clean, 20 mn walk from the train station. Funny stairs (attention, steep)
toilets noisy.

Loved my stay! The location is perfect, right in the middle of Nine Streets, with shopping, food and museums right out the door. Quiet and cozy, loved the minimal historic decor. I was a single traveller and will definitely stay again, next time with my husband.
I don't think it could get better......

The room was charming. As an historic building the room was nicely finished and quite spacious.
The bathroom was as well. Excellent bed. I had everything I needed.
I visited in January during a cold snap. It took awhile to warm up the room.

The location of Nine Streets Inn was absolutely fantastic. It was easy to find and super central to everything. Michel was an incredible host who went above and beyond for everything. He gave us an umbrella and his own personal raincoat when there was an unexpected rainstorm coming through as well as offering us advice and help with anything we needed. The trip was for my fiancees birthday and he also gifted us a bottle of fizz too!
The only downside was a local party going on until the early hours underneath us on the Friday night which was pretty loud in the room, however this was coming from a separate building so not much the host could have done.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The room was spotlessly clean, modern and bright, the location was perfect, and the host was incredibly friendly. We would recommend to anyone!

The location of Nine Streets Inn is unbeatable. Quiet yet easily able to walk to attractions and restaurants. Michel and family were great hosts with timely communication and clear instructions. The room was very clean and the perfect size for two people. Would definitely stay here again.
Nothing, really. Everything was great.

Good nice clean room. Very gpod place.
No airco. It was for us oke because it was not so hot that day. If its hot outside the room will be hot too

Small but beautiful room - we planned to be out all day walking around town and only needed a bed and bathroom. This place was beautifully decorated and very comfortable place to lay your head at night. You go up some very steep steps so be aware of that - we loved that we got to see inside a Dutch house (if only slightly!) it’s on a great street with loads of great food nearby. Thanks so much for a really wonderful stay!

Perfect location for exploring the city, super comfy bed, very friendly host, and nice and quiet as our room was at the back of the building. Also, plenty of furniture so we could keep the room tidy during our stay!
Nothing - it was a great place to stay!

Great for short stay. Small, well appointed room. Owner really friendly. Great location.

The room was extremely well located: in the heart of Amsterdam. The host was attentive to all our requests and very accommodating! We had to take an earlier train and Michel allowed us to come one night early despite his own time constraints. The room had a very large bed and it was very bright and relatively quiet, everything we were looking for. Of all the places I tested in Amsterdam, this one has by far the best value for money.
The bathroom ventilation makes a lot of noise but nothing very annoying
For smokers, there is no possibility to smoke, not even in the window, you have to go down to the street

central location
next door were having a party and there were no staff to tell as no one at the property so we barely slept and the street is sooo loud

It’s worth your every penny: amazing location (central yet calm), in an old building but completely renovated / like new. Beautiful large windows but the inside is cozy and warm, even in the chilly December days. It was super easy to get in, the host was helpful on every account.
