My wife and had an impromptu getaway, just needing a change of scenery for a few days. This cabin did not disappoint. The views from the cabin were awesome; we watched the sun rise from the hot tub on the deck. The cabin was clean, with plenty of space. Check in and check out was really easy and hassle free. I would definitely recommend this cabin and will stay here again!

This was a great location! Right on the edge of town between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was our first trip to Gatlinburg in many, many years and was not what we expected. We ended up spending most of our time in Pigeon Forge so it worked out perfect for us. Great views and close to town but private. Very clean and super easy check in and out process. Great communication with management. We would stay here again. As others have stated, it is very dark in the kitchen and hard to see to cook but we managed.

Great little cabin plenty of room for our family. The thing I could Suggest is some upgraded furniture mainly the mattress. Our than that we enjoyed our stay.

Great stay, cabin was as advertised. Convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

The cabin was a great getaway location for us, although the roads to get there up in the mountain are kind of scary to drive with all the blind curves and hairpin turns with very little room to pass if you happen upon another car coming the opposite direction. We own a large SUV and it was a bit terrifying especially the first night since we got there after dark and didn’t know where we were going. The cabin is off a road that is not very visible and a very tight turn up the driveway.
We enjoyed the cabin very much, our only letdown was the view of the mountain from the hot tub/deck is pretty obstructed by all the utility lines running across the back of the property that don’t show in the pictures.
We did read reviews before our trip and brought our camp lantern, and we were glad we did. As others have stated the kitchen is in need of more lighting. It would have been tricky to even make coffee early in the morning without our extra light.
Our overall experience was great, the cabin was comfortable and clean, and the hot tub was lovely!

On top of a mountain very peaceful getaway.

House was as advertised.

The separate bathrooms were our favorite part, we were able to get out of town and have our own space for once. Thank you so much for a great place to stay for my first trip to gatlinburg!

This cabin is amazing! I arrived late and it was dark so I couldn’t cabin colors, but with a little trial and error, reading numbers on cabins and following the directions in the welcome email, I made it to the cabin! Check in is a breeze and the place is clean and cozy. After days of hiking, especially sunrise at Clingman’s Dome (very cold but highly recommended), the hot tub and gas fireplace were by far my favorite places in the cabin. I traveled alone and felt safe the entire time. I definitely recommend this cabin for solo and groups of female travelers as well as families and really anyone. I’ll absolutely be returning.

Our stay was very nice and the only negative was the lighting was very under powered.

The place was great but VRBO website caused my reservation to be incorrect and I only got to stay 1 night. VRBO should have "check-in and check-out" dates, INSTEAD of "date". I put in the dates I will be there and it was mistaken for "check-out" date. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!

This cabin is in a great location especially if you plan to do more activities in Gatlinburg vs the Pigeon Forge area. There is one cabin right next door, but overall it’s in a more secluded and quiet area. The fireplace and hot tub are great amenities. There is a nice view of the mountains from the living room and deck. Check in/out was super easy.
We have stayed in many other rentals all over the US. The cabin does have a minimalistic approach. Suggestions to take this cabin and experience up another notch: improved lighting especially in the kitchen (this has been mentioned several times in other posts, so it’s disappointing it hasn’t really been addressed yet), increased number of kitchen items (Eg. There were only 4 dinner plates total), increased number of towels for both the shower AND hot tub, and dressers in the bedrooms (or closest) so you can unpack without lying everything on the floor.

So grateful for the driving instructions we were sent, gps got us there for the most part, but we needed a little more help. The cabin was really nice and clean with a great view. My 13 year old thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub!

Everything was nice. It could use more lighting, especially in the kitchen area.

Great area, better vrbo. Great property, great additions to the property. Great time

It’s a 5star through and through, with the exception of a few things.
Rooms were adequate and bedrooms were cozy.
Few things could make the experience a 100% are: lighting in the kitchen, it’s too dark in the evenings, lighting in one of the baths, multiple corners had big spider webs especially a window had a big one with dead insects, there was a scooper but no broom and no hand soap anywhere - left one for the next guests!
But even with above said, it was an amazing experience- would definitely stay here again.
Oh and a shout out to the owner, Chris, very courteous and polite. Quick responses and friendly.

The property has a great view of the mountains and is in a very quiet location. The rooms are fairly spacious and clean. The only negative that I would mention is that the kitchen is not well stocked. There were only a few glasses and dishes and not much in the way of cooking supplies; e.g., tin foil, cooking oil, sugar, etc.

We loved the view from the balcony! It was awesome as advertised. Spacious bathrooms, great amenities and the communication with proprietor was excellent.

We loved our stay! The kitchen is lacking utensils and pans so if you plan to cook, bring your own stuff(especially a knife). The hot tub was an awesome thing to have. Quiet. Private. But super close and convenient. They need to provide more towels or you will be washing them daily. We had a blast

Property was easy to find. Had a great view. It was minute's from town, but now noise from it or much lights. Hot tub was great and we could relax and look out at the mountains. If i had an issue the response was very quick and very nice. Only issue i had was i didnt read the instruction right and needed to find the address which was in the email they sent me. All my problem and still they were very nice and resent the email and texted me the content as well.
Check in and out was extrmely easy as well. Had a great time.

we enjoyed our stay at the cabin. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect for 2 couples and a baby! We were surprised we got such a great view so close to town! The hot tub and fire place were perfect after a day of walking. If you are looking to do much cooking, the kitchen is very limited on the utensils and cookware it has to offer. The lighting in the main living area wasn’t great for cooking and playing cards.

Beautiful views, nice clean beds and bathrooms. You have got to try the bubbling hot jacuzzi. Ooooh the gas fireplace was so convenient with a built-in timer. The master bed was huge and comfy. Only one other house on the hill which makes for great privacy. No bear sightings in this area, on this trip. Lights were a little dim, which makes for a romantic evening. The door was a little tricky, but the owner patiently talked me through the process over the phone. And the drive up was a little winding but nothing that our Mitsubishi Outlander. All-in-all, we would definitely stay again, just longer next time!! Loved it!

The property was clean, quiet and secluded other than 1 identical cabin was next to the property, but never heard the renters. The sign on the driveway says Pleasant View but its actually Peacock View, so not sure why. Beds were comfy and baths were ok. The property is close to a Food City, restaurants, and the Parkway with an easy drive to the National Park or Pigeon Forge. We had to run a rain app on our phone to sleep is was so quiet at night. We ate meals on the deck, and the hot tub was great for two at night with the sunset & city lights in view. We like to cook & grill, so the cooking utensils, grill and pots/pans were the basic type which is common in rentals. If you prefer better quality just bring your own. Also we can't see good as it is and the lighting was low in all the fixtures. All the other rooms were fine with the low lighting. But PLEASE put a fluorescent light in the kitchen, because we would like to come next year, too. Chris was responsive and clear on check-in and check-out. Thanks for the relaxing week away from our stressful jobs and daily life. It was awesome!

Very clean and decorated. Needs more lighting in kitchen area.
Otherwise was very nice.

Property is very clean throughout the house, even the hot tub. We have a hot tub and brought testing strips to test varies levels before using it. It was pretty much perfect. The furnishings were adequate but dated. Our biggest complaint was the lighting. It was extremely dark even with all the living room/dining room lights on. In the morning I had to use the flashlight on my phone to use the stove. At night it was worse. A few lightbulbs were out in the dining room chandelier.
We liked the location because it was away from the hustle bustle of Gatlinburg.
Check in and out was seamless although we thought it odd that we had to put the trash out, strip the beds and run the dishwasher.

We had the best 4 day vacation to the Smoky Mountains and a huge part of what made the trip so relaxing was this fantastic cabin!
Getting to the cabin was a little tricky but once we figured out the proper road to turn onto it was very simple. The cabin was super close to Gatlinburg and we didn't feel like we wasted alot of time getting to and from the cabin. We've stayed in other locations in the area and it would take 30 minutes to get to/from the town and up/down the mountain. Super convenient to everything, including a Food City location where we stocked up on items so we could make our own meals in the kitchen.
And the view! Amazing! Normally to get a view like this you are driving longer and farther up the mountain, on much scarier roads. While the listing says they recommend 4x4, we didn't have any issues in my front wheel drive Honda Civic. I wouldn't want to try it in winter, but it was no problem in May.
Combine the view with the lovely hot tub and we had such a relaxing vacation! We spent every morning and night in the hot tub, relaxing and looking at the mountain.
The rest of the cabin was great too - we only slept in one bedroom, the one with the King, and it was very nice and comfy. Great having a washer and dryer to clean our clothes, living room was comfy, and we were even able to use the fireplace the first few nights since it was chilly.
All in all a lovely magical trip at a great cabin! I would come back to this property again in the future.

We had a great time in the space. Was very clean and even with the slight confusion finding it, that’s expected up in the mountains so no complaints there. Perfect distance from gatlinburg.
