No pudimos dormir

Nos tocó una habitación con la ventana hacia la calle en un segundo piso no pudimos dormir del ruido de las personas hablando en la calle. Demasiado ruido y no pudimos descansar.

The front desk were very helpful on everything!!

The room space was adequate for one person, but it would be tight for two. There was limited natural light. The bathroom smelled very bad. The hotel appeared outdated compared to the pictures, indicating a need for renovation. Τhe breakfast was horrible every day the same things without any quality.

Excente hotel

La atención por parte de las personas en recepción fue excelente con toda la disposición, nos ayudaron a solucionar las inquietudes que teníamos. La habitación muy cómoda y con todo lo necesario. El desayuno muy completo. Muy cerca de las Mesquitas más importantes de Estambul.Sin duda volvería a este hotel. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Hotel muy bien ubicado con todo lo necesario

La ubicación es inmejorable a 3 minutos andando de la mezquita azul y Santa Sofía. La amabilidad del personal y las facilidades para cualquier duda o cuestión que surgió.

El desayuno no me gustó mucho, el café es muy malo de máquina con leche en polvo y no hay apenas nada tipo occidental, mucha variedad de ensaladas, eso sí, para el que le guste desayunar estilo turco.

Nice clean hotel - staff were 5 stars

Nice clean budget hotel where the staff go the extra mile and the whole team are super friendly Excellent location in sultan Ahmet all main sites were walking distance Blue Mosque - Hagi Sophia mosque - Topkapi palace - Grand Bazaar We had 2 young children and they allowed us use of the child buggy It was Ramadan and I was fasting and they had a breakfast plate (Sahur) ready for me Super service from Mr Muharam and his team

The price I paid reflects their accommodation but the Service is exceptional

Desayuno

La ubicación era muy buena para visitar todo tanto las mezquitas como el gran bazar y las calles que lo rodean. Pero no recomiendo comer en esa zona ya que es muy turística y las precios excesivos.

No me gustó el desayuno creo que puede mejorar muchísimo con que cambien algunas cosas. No hay zumo natural de naranja y allí tienen muy buenas naranjas. Tampoco ponen bollería para otro tipo de clientes que no coman verduras en nuestro caso no es común desayunar verduras y al menos tener unos cruasanes ( había bizcocho pero estaba muy duro y rancio ) y tener un poco de tomate triturado para las personas que se quieran hacer unas tostada. No se creo que pueden darle una vuelta al desayuno y que sea mejor no por algo el desayuno turko es tan famoso y en este hotel no fue así es más en los tres días no pude desayunar más que una naranja por la demás todo bien

Ubicado en un sitio privilegiado. Ubicación excepcional, muy tranquilo.

Echamos de menos unas cortinas que impidieran la entrada de la luz para poder descansar.

Agradable lugar ubicación inmejorable

Perfecta ubicación, a pasos de las principales atracciones de Estambul , cerca del hotel hay buenos restaurantes y el desayuno muy delicioso y variado Cuenta con una terraza con vista a la mezquita de Santa Sofía. Habitación limpia cómoda y amplia , bien decorada

Шкафы и полки пыльные, чайник в номере был тоже грязный. Хотелось взять тряпку и сделать уборку)))

Lovely family vacation

Exceptional

We had a wonderful experience at Aldem Hotel. Erdal, our host, is a welcoming person who helped us all the time, guided us, gave us recommendations of places to visit and where to eat and also answered our messages very promptly and quickly. The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet. At the accommodation we received a larger room, to our pleasure, very chic and clean, and the linen was changed daily and hygiene products were brought to us daily (soap, shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner). The view from the terrace on the 7th floor is special and not to be missed. Every evening we stayed to admire all the beauties of Istanbul from the terrace. The breakfast is very varied, with both traditional Turkish and international dishes, for all tastes. We confidently recommend Aldem Hotel! We will definitely be back!

Nice and clean hotel, great location

Very close to all the attractions. Very nice and polite staff. Every day cleaning, new towels, shower gel, shampoo, the room smells nice and spotless, beds very comfortable. The rating on booking, is too low for what they offered. Over my expectations.I would recommend the hotel. Also, price very good.

Pleasant

The location is just in the heart of the tourist attractions but not too crowded. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The prayer mat is provided in the room too😊.

Tbh, all that I need in my room is already fulfilled. But the condition was poor: the inside of the electric kettle was burnt and had an unpleasant smell; WC wasn't cleaned well; the TV remote control didn't work, could be the batteries must be changed (but this problem isn't a big deal for me).

Nice stay and friendly staff

The staff are nice and friendly, always willing to assist and to provide information. Location is great, surrounded by many places to eat and easy access to attractions.

Some of the rooms are small in size, but if you are there only to sleep at night and be out and about during the day, it should be fine.

We loved staying there and highly recommend others to do likewise!

The location is perfect - literally around the corner from Sultanahmed tram station and close to most of the famous attractions like Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, etc. They served a superb breakfast - we just loved it! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They upgraded our one room without extra costs so that we could have two adjoining rooms. The rooms were comfortable and the daily cleaning of the rooms were well done by two very friendly ladies.

The only negative thing was the shower in room 302. All the water does not drain out causing the floor to become very, very slippery which might cause someone to fall. But besides this, everything was great and we just loved staying at Aldem Hotel!

I cannot recommend this hotel. It is grossly overpriced, old, dilapidated and terrible attitudes. Steer clear.

Where it is located.

Dear Aldem Hotel, Since your receptionist started yelling at me when I tried bringing some issues with the room to his attention upon check-out, I will address these matters via this forum. I made our reservation for end December in mid October already at a very expensive € rate. The hotel has a great location close to the main tourist attractions. So we obliged. When our train from Bulgaria was confirmed, it turns out that our check-in date would be one day later. I e-mailed the hotel to request a change and they indicated, "no, take it up with bookings.com" Which I did, but they wanted to charge me more for 3 nights than for 4 nights. I advised the hotel accordingly. They were not interested in assisting. Upon arrival we once again requested if they could not be lenient re the additional night we did not stay and once again was told to take it up and make payment via bookings.com. Then we got to the room... the terrible terrible room. (Supposedly an upgrade with a view) 1. It is so tiny that there was no space for our luggage. 2. The toilet seat was broken. 3. The fan in the bathroom hasn't been cleaned in years. 4. Window view is of a derelict building. 5. The place reek of smoke. 6. Shower water only luke warm. 7. Duvet cover/bedding is ripped and torn. 8. Cleaning buckets and mops in the hallways. 9. Hot breakfast foods are cold. 10. Crockery are chipped and cracked. 11. Not to mention the incessant noise. Every day when we left the hotel I intended to address the attend-able issues at the front desk. However the lobby was always unattended and devoid of any hotel staff. While we were still staying at the hotel, we got a notification from bookings.com that the hotel has cancelled our booking.(???) Thus how do I process the payment the hotel insisted I have to address via the website?

Love the rooftop view.. The room is clean but a bit small. there is elevator in the hotel which is really useful. Location near the sultanahmet tram stop, not hilly..

- we need to go upstairs for breakfast. it is not suitable for guest who use wheelchair. breakfast variety is a bit limited - please keep the kitchen utensils in a clean tray. i can see mold in the utensil tray for teaspoon near the coffee maker

Aldem hotel ,has a good breakfast buffet, good staff,and they can organize Airport transfer, hotel has a very good location you have all around by 5 mins (kapalicarsi , Ayasofya Sultanahmet Cami) .Perfect for family vacation .
