One of the largest units in this luxury boutique condo hotel, it sleeps up to 6 people. With the charm of old Florida grandeur, our suite overlooks the Atlantic Ocean with fantastic ocean and coastline views from the South end of the resort. There is a zero entry pool (no steps) which is great for kids or the elderly, Fort Lauderdale's only Lazy River ride complete with inner tubes, and direct beach access to a 500 foot stretch of semi-private beach. Just step off the veranda and put your toes in the sand! We offer complimentary pool towels, lounge chairs & umbrellas at the beach, as well as room-service and poolside bar&grille service. The sleeping area has a large flatscreen television, a desk with complimentary hard-wired internet connection, alarm clock, Keurig Coffee-maker, & 2 King Size Beds with pillow top mattresses. The separate living room/sun room comes with a small dining table, queen-size convertible sleeper sofa, big comfy chair, another flatscreen TV, microwave, mini-fridge, blender, and a balcony with chairs to enjoy the fantastic views while overlooking the azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ We offer maidservice upon checkout only, however if you desire additional maidservice it can be arranged for an extra $35 per service. We stayed a the condo a few nights pre-cruise, and it was so wonderful! The staff was friendly and accommodating, loved the onsite restaurant. Beach and pool were amazing, spent the whole day swimming. Had some groceries delivered, and really enjoyed having the minifridge, coffee maker, and wet bar. Beds were comfortable, and the condo felt big enough for our family of 5. The view is amazing!

This property is incredibly dirty and in a state of disrepair. I have pictures, but this site does not support uploading them. The door to the unit was broken, the deadbolt would not engage and the top of the door mechanism to shut the door was completely broken off. The front desk was notified multiple times and kept telling us it would be repaired by "engineering", and nothing was ever done. Finally, the day before we were to leave, I was told via text to contact the owner. The couch was also broken, one of the beds was broken and the entire unit was filthy. The walls, furniture, bathroom, floor, rug, everything had a coating of grime. The curtains were dirty and there was spilled and smeared stains on the furniture and the curtains. Again, I let the front desk know, and showed them pictures. The woman that I spoke with was horrified with what I showed her and assured me that they would come and do a "VIP cleaning". Never happened. We were charged a cleaning fee, I am not sure why, because the place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The location of the Pelican Grand is amazing. The beach was beautiful and the staff for the beach, pool, valet and restaurants were wonderful. Really great service and nice people. The unit owner however, really is not honest about the state of the unit and the services provided. We were told the resort fees were included in the price. They really aren't, you don't get any of the extras, not even a full roll toilet paper.

This property was gorgeous and the most amazing view. However, one of the TVs was a Polaroid TV which we didn’t even know they made and the TV in the bedroom hardly worked. I understand that you don’t go to this property to watch TV but at the end of a long day at the beach and you want to cozy up with your kids or just as a couple, there needs to be a serious upgrade with the television sitiatioun.

Spacious suite with an amazing view. Clean comfortable accommodations. No car needed. 1 mile from lots of dining options. (30 minute walk, or $6 Uber) Plenty of options at the resort. Highly recommended.

This is our 4th time staying at the pelican grand, the food is great the staff is friendly and it’s right on the ocean. I was very happy with the room and amenities. I plan on returning

Staff was wonderful. Room was clean. Beach was very nice. Amenities; pool, beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas were utilized and well kept. The hotel restaurants (Ocean 2000 & Bar) were pricey for the food quality. Within a 1 mile beach walk we found a French Bakery for breakfast, and Scooters Waterfront for dinner. Also, there is a great family ran hotel next door with a great small restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well! We had a wonderful stay and would come back without question!

My wife and I stayed for 5 days and enjoyed the property and the room. The room is large with a great view of the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the coffee maker and mini fridge were great for the morning and afternoon snakes or meals. The bar and restaurant on site was very good. The food at the on site restaurant was better than other places we ate. The only issue I would have about the room is the two TV's. We didn't watch much TV, but when we did it would have been nice to have smart TV's in the room. Not really a big deal though. We would rent this room again.

Our stay here was fantastic. The room was very spacious, clean, and had a killer view. Spending time on the balcony was a daily highlight.
The hotel itself was beautiful, and the amenities were a huge added bonus. We had fresh towels, chairs, and an umbrella each day on the beach. We felt like it was our own private paradise. The pool area is nice, too and the bar and restaurant have great service. Don't be surprised if you run into a few Iguanas out and about in Ft. Lauderdale!!
Larry is wonderfully responsive and accommodating, making sure everything was perfect! We would definitely stay here again.

Larry’s property was perfect for our family. The wet bar made it possible to prepare our own coffee and we brought a hot plate with some other dishes to make easy meals. The view of the sunrise from our balcony was amazing while listening to the sound of the Atlantic. We were welcomed daily by the friendly staff on the beach as they accommodated us by setting up our chairs. Location was perfect allowing us a 5 minute drive to Lauderdale be the Sea or the public beaches in downtown FL. We had a car rental but it would not have been necessary. Every place we ate at was superb! A few of our favorites included Tacocraft and Shooters. And for ice cream-Sloane’s!!!! We highly recommend Larry’s property!

We just returned from our stay at the Pelican. It’s a beautiful resort, has amazing staff and an incredible view. Watching the sunrise over the ocean from the balcony is a sight that can’t be beat and the full moon we got over the ocean one evening was spectacular as well. Our boys loved the lazy river and the pool and played in them for hours. The property is right on the ocean, so we were easily able to walk on beach. The food can get a little redundant and the drinks are a bit pricey, but not unexpected for it being a resort. We did appreciate the convenience of being served food and drinks right at the pool. And for some variety if we chose to stay in for dinner, it was easy to get something different delivered. The pool chairs can be hard to come by, so get outside early if you want a spot especially if you want an umbrella as they are fairly limited.
The room was as described: the king beds were a huge upgrade for our family of 4, they were comfy. There was a Keurig to use and a mini fridge to keep a few items in. There were a couple of minor issues with the room but we made Larry aware of them and he was quick to respond and fix what could be addressed immediately for us. One seemingly ongoing issue that will hopefully be addressed soon but couldn’t be resolved while we were there is the water/weather stripping of the shower. Unfortunately the shower leaks on the floor no matter how careful you are to not spray the door. Otherwise, I can’t complain. We enjoyed!

The unit was nice, as described. We ordered groceries (coffee pods, cream and sugar). The view from the balcony is unbelievable, you can see all the way down the coast in both directions. The pool was warm which is key for an enjoyable spring break. The pool towel, bar and food service were excellent! Go out early to get your choice of chairs at the pool and / or beach. They let you save them and then go get breakfast. You can’t leave them unoccupied for too long, of course.
The pool / bar food was pretty good, excellent fries. The kids had burgers everyday. I looked the quesadillas. They have happy hour specials everyday. The upscale restaurant had an excellent breakfast.
We went to the Sandbar next door for breakfast and dinner. It’s lovely, right on the beach, very beachy atmosphere in general.
The store leaves a lot to be desired, not much selection and we found the gelato to be lacking in the selection, but was fine.
The staff at the hotel were all wonderful, so happy and nice and ready to help with anything.
There’s no stores or restaurants nearby, we used ubereats for groceries and items, and we took Ubers wherever we wanted to go. Recommend Bokampers for a sports bar atmosphere and right on the inter coastal, happy hour at El Vez (and El Camino - which of in the Las Olas neighborhood which is much nicer than the busy area with all the other hotels on the beach). El Vez was delicious but that neighborhood was spring-break. Recommend the Jungle Queen.
