Exceptional

This was our second time in La Siesta, and already, I look forward to going back sometime in the future. The resort is great, so much going on for kids. It is remarkably clean, the pools are great, the food in the restaurant is very tasty, staff are all very friendly and very accommodating.....the list goes on and on. The apartment is fantastic! Clean, spacious, and central location. Had everything we needed and was just a short distance away from the resort. I would highly recommend it if you have a larger group. Overall, it was a great experience and a great holiday.

I think some sort of transport should be provided upon check in to bring you to the Apartment. It is only a very short 6-8min walk but having to drag large suitcases this distance along the footpaths in Salou which are not always in the best condition can be a bit much.

Superb

Apartment excellent. Location excellent. Use of pools etc at campsite excellent. La Siesta campsite facilities excellent.

Transfer from reception at campsite to apartments was poor. We had to walk 8 mins or so along public footpaths with all our luggage and 3 children at nighttime to get to our apartments. I think a shuttle is required. Opening Times of restaurants in the main complex were limited.

A nice place to stay with amazing view. Watch out for residents!

There are lots of restaurants close by and one big supermarket. You walk less than 10 minutes to the beach. The view from the balcony and the two bigger bedrooms is fabulous. It is possible to use the pool of the big camping place or the beach. That's a nice combination.

Minor issues: - The mattress is incredibly hard. - The kitchen has only two pans out of which non are usable for the induction oven. - It would have been nice to have at least 1-2 dish washing taps for the dishwasher. I am happy to buy the rest but a minimum equipment is usually standard. Big issue: - The balcony is not safe for small kids. They can easily fall. - The camping place rents out only 2 apartments from this building to tourists. The other residents are not very amused about having tourists staying there. One in particular did not speak English but aggressively shouted at us when we wanted to go to the beach. He didn't let us leave the property. We had to use the back entrance as he was waiting outside talking to other residents and we felt threatened. We don't speak Catalan/Spanish and therefore did not understand what we could have possibly done wrong but as the situation got heated.

The beds was grand. Resort was nice and the pools was good.

The shower was never warm no matter how long we let it run and the tv had no enhlish channels no matter how many retuning we did.

Superb

Check was very easy and we were accompanied to apartment. Apartment has everything you could need. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Very spacious with a very large balcony. Beds were very comfortable. Loads of hot water for showers. Very near all restaurants and bars and shops.

When we walked from reception to apartment- we were taken the long way round - back entrance to apartment complex was nearer to La Siesta. Also when we arrived there was a bad smell in the apartment like it wasn’t aired. We opened all windows and doors and smell vanished. Also their are a lot of trees on the streets and a lot of pollen from them. I don’t normally suffer from pollen allergies but it was very strong the first few days as it had rained. The locals said that the pollen is normally bad in April but good for the rest of the summer

The spacious 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen facilities including washing machine

WiFi was very poor, distance from swimming pools, only one key for apartment, balcony dangerous for children

Lovely apartment,

Nice and spacious. Kitchen had everything required. Nice balcony, table, chairs and sunloungers. Even had washing machine & clothes horse for drying clothes.

Our tv didn't work. Black marks on bedsheet. Cracked mug in kitchen. We had 3 adults and 2 children in our group but only got 1 apartment key so keyholder could never go too far as others had no way in otherwise. Also no mirror in bedroom. We arrived at Reception at 11pm, checked in but had to wait for all other guests to check in and be shown to their accommodation before anyone would bring us to our apartment. After 12am before we were brought to apartment.

Perfect location: 1 minute to the sea, calm area, 5 minutes to Mercadonna, 5-7 Minutes to rail & bus stations. Appartment have everything you can only wish in the kitchen & all is top new! Great service from the host. 100% recommendation.

I think the host shall a little bit improve cleaning services - check, that area under the beds is clean & please clean the couch! Compared to last year cleaning of the apartment got worse. But anyhow, we gladly come again.
