We stayed for a week and had a terrific experience at Avon Lodge. The house was very clean and well equipped, the beds were comfortable (our tall boys appreciated the king single beds) and it was fun playing table tennis. The location was great, being in a quiet street close to some nice walks, and it was lovely to have kangaroos and ducks visiting each day. We would thoroughly recommend using this lodge as a base for any Grampians visit.

Comfortable and cosy. Quality linen and modern kitchen. A lot of wildlife is within close range. The flat surrounds and easy walks make it suitable for older guests.

Had a great stay the last 3 nights. Nice and cosy and well equiped house in a good location with nice views from the yard. Easy access to Boronia Peak trailhead and a 20odd minute walk to town or a short drive. Will be back.

Despite the wet foggy weather we enjoyed some of the beautiful walks in the Grampians National Park. Avon Lodge was well stocked with wood for the fire, a kitchen full of appliances and comfy beds. Would stay again.

We stayed for 4 nights and found the place to be clean, spacious and well catered to our needs. The extra touches such as soap, dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent were very much appreciated. The kids loved the ping pong table and we enjoyed the bike path into town.

Loved the mountain views from the newly renovated kitchen and the ease of the bike/ walking trails so close. House is perfect for families with the table tennis room complete with full second bathroom and plenty of spare beds. We ended a relaxing 8 days with a gorgeous meal at the Halls Gap Hotel - (must book!) Thanks Emily for a wonderful stay.

Great property, really well appointed and well presented. Only 2 mins drive to Halls Gap town centre. Kangaroos and emus wandering the backyard and the street in front of the house. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely property - we really enjoyed our stay. Very clean on arrival and comfortable with efficient air con, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, linen provided. Great space for kids in the backyard and rec room. Really close to town and walks. Amazing wildlife, including roos in the backyard, emu and deer in the street, not to mention all the gorgeous birds and butterflies! And great communication from owners. Thanks again!

Avon lodge was just the perfect place to base ourselves for a family holiday in the Grampians. This place seriously caters for all your. Been going to the Grampians for 10 years. This by far has been the BEST Accommodation yet. We will be back. This will be our first place to stay Thankyou again Emily and Matt.

We enjoyed the fact that the property was near the town as well as major Grampian scenic attractions. Our son loved playing ping pong , and the daily visits by the kangaroos and birds were a bonus. The cottage was well kept and very clean. Thank you for a great stay.

The house was extremely clean. It was comfortable and they had left the fire ready to light. There was nothing in the cupboard except for instant coffee and tea and nothing in the fridge, including milk for the coffee/tea. Actually there was salt and pepper. It didn't feel like we were being hosted, just minimum required for somewhere to eat and sleep.

Absolutely loved staying in this part of Halls Gap, explored a whole bunch of new walking trails directly from the front door. The Ping Pong table was a great diversion for the kids & grown ups alike.
