Located in Folly Beach, this lovely house for $785 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Welcome to the best of Folly Beach! Lounge in the hammock on the spacious front porch and enjoy beautiful views of Morris Island Lighthouse and glorious sunsets over the Folly River. Sunbathe, crab, fish and dolphin watch from the dock with floating dock. Boat, sail, jet ski, kayak and swim in the river. Walk 2 short blocks to the beach to enjoy the waves and sand! Papa's Paradise offers everything anyone could want in an island vacation. Additionally, you are just 11 blocks from the fun and shopping of Center Street and a mere 20 minutes from the history, charm, and beauty of historic downtown Charleston. Our 3 story house has 3 large bedrooms and 3 baths. The main living space is on the second and third floors. The primary bedroom, located on the second floor, has a king sized bed, huge walk-in closet, and separate vanity and bath area. The other 2 bedrooms are upstairs on the third floor and connected by a jack-and-jill bathroom, each with its own private vanity with sink. One bedroom has a king sized bed, and the other has 2 double beds. A spacious living room overlooks a large porch and the amazing Folly River. This front porch is complete with a family dining table, hammock, rocking chairs, and sofa area. Connected is a large, family-style dining room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a 2nd, smaller porch off of the dining room with a table for al fresco dining. The living room has two large sofas, one of which pulls out to a queen bed, 2 recliners, a large TV, and lots of family games, toys, puzzles and books. The front porch connects to both the living room and primary bedroom and comes complete with a hammock for reading, napping, or just hanging out. Also located on the front porch is a sofa area, rocking chairs, and a table for dining by the river. Feel free to bring your own boat, kayaks, paddleboards, or jet skis as well. There are numerous rentals available on Folly for golf carts, bikes, and other water sports. We've added lots of recommendations to our hospitality page. Had an amazing stay here. We pulled out boat right up to the dock and it was so easy to walk to the beach. The back porch is perfect for sunsets. Will def use this place again if its available!

My elderly brothers & their wives came from Missouri to my wedding and stayed at this house. They were completely blown away by the property. The house is dated but still very Nice. The views are breathtaking. We fished on the dock and enjoyed the stay very much. There are a lot of stairs but worth it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a great location. A quite cul-de-sac with beautiful river/marsh views. Short walk to the beach. The house was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The rooms are large and we had everything we needed. Would stay again!

We came to Folly for my sister's wedding and a few of the family members stayed here for the weekend. Very spacious kitchen and living area. Quick beach access maybe 2 blocks away. There is a small market right down the road to grab some essentials. The marsh view and sunset are amazing. We sat out there every night to watch the sunset.

Had a great time, this is in a beautiful spot, the back porch and dock can't be beat! Really the only thing that wasn't great was that there were lots of cockroaches on the first floor, especially the master bedroom. We still managed to thouroughly enjoy ourselves and other than that, I give this place 5 stars.

Fabulous views!! Quick access to beach too! Kids loved dock, fishing and crabbing too! Easy check in, great kitchen for cooking and being with one another! Plenty of seating , linens, comfy beds. We had a wonderful time.Felt at home and didn’t want to leave. House is a little dated but this added to the charm

Beautiful and spacious home located on a quiet cul de sac with direct water access. My family loved this home. It was spacious, clean and comfortable with all of the amenities we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. The river front dock was a nice quiet way to enjoy water views without being at the beach. That being said the beach was only a short walk away and at the quiet end of the island. Great property! We look forward to our next stay.

Beautiful view, able to see dolphins. Our stay was too short. We were without power because of a storm and the weather was colder than normal, but we enjoyed a lot of family time cooking meals and playing games.

The place was exactly as advertised - no surprises. Located in a quite area with excellent privacy, large yard next to a canal and long private dock out to the deep water river. The place was very clean and comfortable, plenty big for our family of 5 adults. Kitchen in particular was well appointed and very organized. The owner was very responsive to all communications and questions. Overall a great experience.

Best staycation ever!

We are locals to Charleston and just wanted to get away but didn’t want to go far. We literally left our boat on the floating dock all week. It was so nice to just get up and walk outside hop on the boat and do day or evening boat cruises. This home has amazing views we watch dolphins and wildlife from the screen porch that is the full length of the home. I would highly recommend and we will be renting this home again we absolutely enjoyed it. Miss Alice was extremely responsive to any emails and questions that I had.

Along with this amazing house sitting in the perfect location at Folly, the dock was a fantastic amenity for all! We had such a great time with my family, my sisters and their kids. The house was very spacious for our family of 8 for majority of days and then we added an additional 3 totalling 11 staying in the house. Short drive, walk, golf cart to the beach! Amazing sunsets in the evenings! All around fantastic stay! Can't wait to "get away" in the perfect location again!

This house is awesome the location and obviously it’s an older home the kitchen is huge they were gadgets there I never saw in my entire life and I’m 56. TLC please change the carpet and there is a musty smell that I did not realize until I left and had to wash every single piece of clothing because of the smell my purse it’s either just musty or mold but it is an excellent home it needs TLC real bad. My husband and I had a little bit of upper respiratory and didn’t realize it until we left it creeps on yeah that smell

My siblings and I were celebrating my 30th birthday and we couldn’t of chosen a more perfect beach house!! Allison was absolutely amazing and answered all of our questions as we were booked during covid-19. Her house was the perfect spot. We took family photos, we jumped off the dock, went to the beach, enjoyed several beverages on the back deck. It was the most memorable 30th birthday. If we travel to folly again we will be staying here at Allison’s folly beach house.

We love this property. Great house, lot, dock to keep the boat on, and location close to downtown Folly. Our family has rented here twice now and it leaves great memories. Allison is a great host, I highly recommend renting this house.
