It's 150ish ft to the beach, so the home is in the most central perfect location. You are also in walking distance to a gas station, grocery store, fishing pier and several restaurants. This home not for big gatherings or parties. 4 minute walk to the beach, 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk to Publix grocery story, gas station, and several Restaurants. 5 minute drive to Historic St Augustine with shopping, historic venues, foodie haven, tourist tours, and stops to fit all likes. The pool is heated to 82 degrees. The spa heats up around 99 degrees. When you push the spa button it takes about 10 minutes to heat up. This home is not meant for large gatherings, events, or parties. The exterior property is monitored by cameras. For privacy there are NO cameras inside the home or on the pool area. Security Hold of $400 for any potential damages.

This property was perfect for our weeklong family trip. The proximity to the beach, grocery store and local restaurants was ideal. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The wagon was great for walking to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet with well maintained homes.We used the pool and hot tub daily and there was plenty of seating in the lanai. I would recommend this listing and will be booking again.

This trip was bumpy due to some unforeseen issues however Tamera worked her magic and kept us happy and accommodated us!! I highly highly recommend Tamera as your host she was honestly hands down the best to deal with!!!!! The properties are gorgeous and the cleanest I think I’ve seen while vacationing! 10/10 recommend

This large home was perfect for our family Thanksgiving week in Florida. It’s so close to the beach. We loved having the wagon, sand chairs, and sand toys there for us to use. The kitchen was well very equipped for us to make our big Thanksgiving meal. Having the well maintained pool and hot tub was ideal. The owners responded right away to our question. As someone who rarely rights reviews , I would definitely recommend this property!

My wife and I and two of my kids along with their families we all able to see each other for the first time in many years. We were in St. Augustine for their cousin’s wedding. The house felt like home and we so much appreciated that. Being together after so many years was made so much easier than I had even imagined. Thank you.

The stay was great. Super close to the beach. The house was so well equipped with all things kids - pack and play, high chair, cups/plates, toys, everything! The property manager was absolutely fantastic. She solved every issue we had as quickly as she could. We did the beach club which was maybe not exactly worth it because we only went once but that is no representation on the house. Overall everything was great!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo! The home was clean and well decorated, the pool and spa (hot tub) was awesome, they had a lot of pool toys and beach stuff (like a wagon cart) and chairs and we were around the corner from the beach. From the ad I assumed it was farther….and so I was pleasantly surprised at how close we were. We had little kids with us and it was a breeze to walk to the beach. It’s amazing tk be so close and not have to drive and park by the beach. Thank you Vilano 102 and Tamara for a great stay and great communication! It was so easy to check in and out too! We’ll be back!

This house was clean and accurately described on VRBO. The property and house manager were very attentive to the little issues we had during our stay. The backyard pool and spa were a favorite of our family. We used that every day. The layout was perfect for a large family. The walk to the beach crosses a busy street but it isn’t far at all. We would definitely book again.

We loved our stay at the flamingo house!! The pool and hot tub were the highlight for sure. The pool was clean and a very comfortable temperature. The hot tub heated up nicely too and we enjoyed the lights at night. The fact that the area is enclosed is a huge plus, it kept all the bugs out and the pool clean. We could even sit outside and night and not get eaten alive! The house itself has a great open feel yet still has places to tuck yourself away from the group. The kitchen is clean and well-equipped. The neighborhood park is nicely shaded and super close by if you are travelling with kids and need a break from the sun. The beach is very easy to get to, you just have to cross A1A which can get a little busy. I wish the Vilano area had a couple more restaurants or coffee shops/ice cream to make the property more walkable but that is the only drawback I can see to the area. We rented a golf cart and found it useful to haul kids and stuff to the beach but it otherwise didn’t serve much of a purpose other than a fun ride around the neighborhood. Overall a great stay and definitely very family-friendly. Host was super responsive throughout booking process and as I planned our trip! Thank you!

I was impressed with the house the minute we walked in the front door. The house is spacious, extremely clean and nicely decorated. It is a very comfortable house. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool area is amazing. The temperature of the pool and spa was perfect. We saw the pool man two times and he does a great job maintaining the pool. The proximity to the beach is great. The beach was not crowded at all. We loved the Vilano Beach area. We ate at several of the restaurants and shopped at Publix. It was so convenient. My daughter and her family stayed with us for one week. There was plenty of room for 7 people. They even walked to the park down the street and played basketball. We all loved the house. It was, by far, the best vacation rental we have been in. No problems at all. The first time we ever rented a home in Florida where we didn’t have to call the property manager.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay over a four day long weekend. It was very relaxing and the house was so accommodating to our family of six. We actually didn't even use the fourth bedroom. The heated pool was a nice touch and my kids enjoyed that very much. Definitely a spot we would come back again to stay at.

Arriving during Tropical Storm Nicole, we didn’t know what to expect, but we found an amazing vacation retreat in which to ride out the storm. Wonderful accommodations for my wife and I, and our 5 adult children. Great communication with our host. Ideal location near the beach and St Augustine! We enjoyed every moment at the Pink Flamingo!

We loved our short stay was cut short by Hurricane. We were not concerned about house, it was the thought of flooding and not being able to get off island. House and manger were the best. Definitely would recommend and I want to go back

My family, including my two children, stayed at this home. It was very clean with a nice floor plan. The pool and spa were excellent! It was a literally a one minute walk to the beach. The beaches were very clean, not many people, and went on for miles. 10 minute drive to downtown Saint Augustine. Couldn’t have asked for a better location.

Amazing Stay and Property!
This property was absolutely perfect! The beach was not far at all. We took advantage of the park across the street when we went to the beach. The kids loved the pool! The communication by the property manager was really good with reminding us of some different things such as trash day. We go to the beach every year in FL, GA, or SC, and I have to say, this property is by far at the top of our list!

Great location and great week
The house and layout fit our family nicely (myself and husband, our two adult children with their spouses and our 3 grandchildren 6, 3, and 9 months). The space is open enough to feel like we were all together. The location was ideal in that the beach is truly a few minute walk, and the pool was a big hit for the days with rip tide and winds were too much for the little ones. The pool had a safety gate for the kids. The playground very quick walk, about a block away. The Publix grocery and a few restaurants were minutes away.
I only rated 3 on cleanliness because some of the bigger maintenance jobs had not been kept up. The oven was a very dirty, the showers had some mold/mildew build up in grout and on the edges on the floor, the deck furniture has some nice fold out cup holders which appeared to have been neglected for a while. I learned the regular cleaner had recently become sick, and understand the challenge that presents, but the items I've mentioned are the more long term ones.
I would like to mention the gentleman who did the maintenance and assisted to get us in and settled in the property was wonderful. He was responsive and polite and resolved our other few issues very quickly.

The pool is advertised as heated to 85 which is what we do at home. I was skeptical about that but have to Tip my hat to Adam and Tamara. I don't know what it actually was, but can tell you it felt like 85 most of the time we were in it so it pleases me that what they said was what we got. Awesome and honest!!
We were very impressed with many aspects of the house. The cleanliness of the house was spotless. Wiped my finger on a few blinds expecting to see some dust. Nope. Clean.
Tubs and showers? Spotless. Floors? Forget about it.
Cleaning staff they use is A++ and that's not all.
The pool was also spotless and super clear. I have to say the pool guy Chris was hands down the best pool man I have ever seen. Usually a guy comes and vacuums and dumps a pail of chlorine and moves on.
Not Chris the pool man. He vacuumed and tested the water and we chatted while he worked and he is very personable.
Sadly he is a Dolphins fan and we are from Buffalo so we had Bills-Dolphins talk as well lol. He cleaned the filter of this wonderful salt water pool and I thought he was done.
Again, nope. He came back and scrubbed the walls, steps and even the floor of the pool!! I have never seen a pool man do that. Kudo's to Chris for keeping the pool immaculate!
So you can tell we were ecstatic with everything about the house. But I will add that we were also pleased with many little things about the house.
Plate ware and cutlery were great. Matching Ikea plate ware was a nice touch. At some point we needed a pair of scissors. Check. There is a pair in the butcher block on the counter.
The stuff in the garage like the bikes and beach cart were useful and the towels in the house were also terrific including the beach towels conveniently kept in a bin near the door perfect for walking out to the pool.
We were so happy about how everything was seamless that we decided we will book a week next year with Adam and Tamara.
After discussing it and hoping for a 3 bath unit we have decided to go one up on the Pink Flamingo and rent The Seabreeze which is another wonderful looking property that Adam and Tamara have. You won't get better folks!

Family visit to St. Augustine
We were very pleased with the property. Clean, spacious and loved the hot tub pool area! We enjoyed using the beach chairs, sand toys, and biking the neighborhood in the evening using the two bikes that were stored in the garage. Especially loved the proximity to the beach and the little park on the corner. Perfect setting for our grandsons, 8 and 10 yrs. old. Would return again!
