Situated in South Padre Island, this lovely house for $495 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. PERMIT #2023-1777 STANDARD OCCUPANCY (Sleeps): 10 guests (includes infants or children) MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: 10 guests (includes infants or children) VEHICLE MAXIMUM: 4 vehicles (includes golf carts, or any other recreational vehicles. BOAT TRAILERS ARE NOT PERMITTED!) PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Spring Break & Holy Week (March 1st - April 9th, 2023): Restricted to Immediate Families Only. Immediate families are considered children, parents & grandparents only. No spring break groups will be permitted, regardless of age. Identification will be checked upon arrival. Day guests and visitors are not permitted at any time. ***IMPORTANT NOTE: This property is located within a gated community that has strict HOA rules and regulations. All guests are required to wear wristbands at all times, for the full duration of the reservation. Wristbands can not be taken off, and/or exchanged with any other person. A guest list is required in advance of check-in. ONLY those listed on the guest list will be provided a wristband and will be allowed on the premises. This private home is located within the Villas of South Padre, a gated oceanfront subdivision with a community pool and hot tub. The home boasts 4 bedrooms and 4 and 1/2 bathrooms, a spacious open concept kitchen, living and dining area - plus a quaint reading corner, secondary living room, utility room with a washer and dryer & much more! Whether you're traveling with family, a group of friends, or looking for a romantic getaway with tons of space, we know you will LOVE this home. Guests have the choice of two Master Suites and two guest bedrooms. The first Master Suite features a roomy King size bed, large flat screen TV, large walk-in closet and a quiet private balcony. The en-suite bathroom has an oversized soaking tub, plus a walk-in shower. The second Master suite encompasses the entire 3rd floor, features a cozy King bed, private bathroom with walk-in shower and its own balcony as well. Guests also have the choice of a third bedroom, equipped with a Queen size bed, flat screen TV and attached bathroom, or the fourth guest bedroom, featuring two bunk beds with full size bottom bunks and twin size top bunks. The fourth bedroom also has an attached bathroom with walk-in shower and a massive flat screen TV. Its the perfect room for kids, teens or young adults! This house was huge and so convenient for going to the beach or pool, roughly 1-2 minutes each. Having 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms was perfect for our three teenage daughters. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. We also had a sense of safety with it being in a gated community. Can't wait to go back to SPI and stay at this house.
We highly recommend this property.

This property was so comfortable. Excellent floor plan for a group of three couples. Huge kitchen, dining area, gathering great room area. Excellent house size for spreading out and having your own space when you wanted. Great beds, bathrooms, well equipped kitchen (with the exception of too few dish towels provided, though not an issue). Very clean!

We had a wonderful time at the Tortuga by the Sea. It is a large, cozy home with all the needed amenities for a vacation. My family enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the community pool, and the security offered by this property. The management company did a great job making the house charming and hospitable. We hope to make it back again soon.

The place at 6502 Fountain Way was just great ! It is spacious, with the downstairs being an open area with a living room, dining room and kitchen combination. Beach and pool items are in the 2-car garage, as well as ping pong paddles and ball, badminton, etc. In the LR are puzzles, books, games, etc.
Upstairs: 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms: 1) with a king-size bed, 2) with a queen-size bed, 3) 3 bunkbeds to sleep as many as 6 (lower beds are full size).
Upstairs: 3rd floor has a separate bedroom (with a king) and full bath (shower).
The place was very clean. Only a few higher shelves were dusty.
The Community Center, 1/2 block away, has a pool which is cleaned every day. It also has a tennis court and a small kids' playground. The beach is about 2 short blocks away.
One Disappointment: The Community Club House with pool tables and a ping pong table is off-limits to renters, available only to owners. I was looking forward to playing ping pong with my grandkids.

Lacks the Basics
I was torn between Average and Below Average rating and here is why. Our flight arrived later in the evening, we had to pick up the garage door opener from the SPI location that definitely was a little off the beaten path or maybe just a hang out for workers?
As for the actual location and stay. The set up was nice, beds were actually comfortable. The things that I have experienced at many other home rentals were definitely less than favorable. Simple things like: coffee filters for the coffee pot, salt and pepper, the pots and pans were well well used, we are at the beach, but no beach towels, all the beach essentials stated that were for us to use were completely broken down from the chairs to the umbrella. Definitely a beautiful house, but what we would consider the basics were not included.

Great location on SPI... clean place with great house layout! We love the atmosphere. Keep up the good work SPI rentals, and keep your standards high. It's hard to find good rental places. The heated pool is a great feature as well!

Gorgeous Beach House
This gorgeous beach house is amazing! The kitchen is fully equipped & spacious. The bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable. Very short walking distance to the beach. This is a gated community with security guard. We all had an amazing time. We're definitely coming back and staying at 6502 Fountain Way!!

*Place was a little dirty (to be expected with sand from the beach) but the vacuum does not work well at all. The floors were sandy when we first got there. We actually ended up sweeping to get a little bit of sand up in the entry way.
*Check in was slow and given you can’t check in until 4:00 makes it even later. Only one person in the office at a time (understand b/c of Covid but still was slow).
*It advertised towels. However there were none. They brought us a few and said they would bring more but never did. There are also no dish towels so we had to use Hand towels to dry dishes.
Overall, I would stay at this place again although it is expensive. But I guess you get what you pay for.

The layout was awesome … having the kitchen and main living space on the first floor was wonderful and the bunk room was awesome for the kids. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy for us to eat all meals at the house. The proximity to the beach and pool can’t be beat. The house was in great condition, especially based on how much wear and tear the salty air produces down there. Highly recommend (just don’t book the week we want next year, ha!)!!!

This property is AMAZING!!!! The kitchen is very well stocked as well as all the bedrooms very spacious and comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for comfort and convenience to the beach. Love that is was gated, secured and monitored at all times. Would definitely love to stay here again!!!!!

This house was great for our family of seven with young kids. Very spacious house and super convenient to walk to the beach. Kitchen well stocked with lots of chef’s needs and garage stocked with beach toys and a wagon which was super helpful. Property management had to come out twice for a clogged toilet and clogged disposal and arrived within minutes of our calls each time and fixed the issues quickly.

Every year my family stays at 6502 Fountain Way. We love the spacious house to accommodate our large family. The house has everything we need and is decorated beautifully! We love the short walk to the beach, pool and eating places! The house is always clean and organized. We will continue to rent this house every summer!
