We had a nice time staying in the house, quiet neighborhood.

This is our second year staying here, and both times were amazing. I would recommend this property to anyone.

We just finished a visit to AZ UT parks (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon) and wanted a “base camp” to use for day trips. Kebab was the perfect location with easy trips to the parks. This house was really nice, well kept And clean. We loved it! The owner was responsive and helpful, thank you!!!

House is great, very comfortable, my elderly mom loved it, great for our dogs, beautiful neighborhood. The house could have been a little cleaner.

The Red Rock Canyon Retreat exceeded all of our expectations! Joni was wonderful to work with. We are a family of 6 and we fit very comfortably. Our stay took us to Zion, Bryce Canyon, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. It was nice to have one fairly central location for all of those places. The kids enjoyed going to the clubhouse where they swam and played pool. We will 100% book again if we go back to the Kanab area!

The home was great with spectacular views. Very clean and spacious and in a very nice neighborhood. Fun to take walks in the area with the beautiful red rock all around. Highly recommend!!

This property was the perfect location. The neighborhood was great for kids and pets. The home itself was very clean and well-stocked. Great floorplan for families.

The house we rented was amazing. It had the western theme and all the amenities you would ever need. It was close to National Parks and many hiking trails everywhere you go. We would highly recommend this home and we are already talking about going next year but for a longer time.

The house was great, spacious and clean, full of interesting native American art. This was our first visit to Kanab and this subdivision seems like definitely the most ideal place to stay. Being from south Texas, we very much enjoyed the cool, crisp air in the mornings and evenings. The back patio smelled lovely, like butterfly bush. We had a great time hiking the very nearby trails and the kids really enjoyed the La Estancia pool which was just a short walk from the house. Kanab is a great central location for visiting Zion, Bryce, the North Rim, and all of the other great spots right near Kanab. Wonderful stay, we certainly hope to return.

Although the house itself is quite nice and a great location, the dirtiness of this house was a total turn off. We spent the first three hours after we checked in wiping down furniture, kitchen counters, bathroom counters, etc. etc. with Clorox wipes. The floors, bathroom rugs, barbecue grill, were disgusting. The carpets looked like they hadn’t been shampooed in years. If I could post pictures of how dirty the house was, I would. I contacted the property manager that day and the next day he came out. I showed him around and explained a few things including one of the bathroom sinks that would not drain. A toilet paper holder practically falling off the wall and one that had completely fallen off the wall in another bathroom. The coffee pot didn’t work. The icemaker is also messed up. He just looked at the things needing to be repaired and just said OK. I insisted that he clean the barbecue grill (which probably hadn’t been attended to for months) since we were to be there for three weeks and would be using the grill and also to fill up the propane tank which was almost empty. All of this should have been taken care of before our arrival. The other property manager who is out of state offered to give us a refund if we wanted to leave. We had planned this trip months and months in advance and didn’t want to leave, we just wanted a clean vacation rental. Nine days into our 21 day stay, the air conditioner broke. This was in over 100° weather. We were told the air-conditioning company could come out in two days so we waited. Come to find out the house needed a whole new unit and could take a week to two to have it fixed. So on our 11th day of our 21 day trip, we packed up and headed home. We were offered a refund and it came in a timely manner however our trip was ruined. We realize the air conditioner was not the owners fault, however VRBO pride themselves that their properties meet Covid cleanliness standards. This house would not have met any sort of clean standards. Kanab is a great little town and we did try to make the best out of a bad situation.

The coffee maker did not work and we had to purchase one during our stay. The pots and pans are VERY old and peeling. There aren’t enough serving/storage bowls with lids. The dinner plates did not fit in the dishwasher. The house was not adequately stocked with basics - paper towels, dust pan, dishwasher soap, shampoo, etc. This house needs interior updating.

My wife and I recently spent a a week at Red Rock Canyon Retreat. This modern house is very quiet and has a great location only about five minutes from central Kanab. We enjoyed our stay very much. The property has nice modern appliances including a washer and dryer, big screen TV’s in every room, and maybe most importantly an excellent bed in the master bedroom. Our only gripe which we failed to communicate to the property manager, was that the living room sofa that is best suited for TV viewing is old and very uncomfortable. A house this nice should have better furniture. One small thing. The shower floor in the master bathroom was a little slippery. We enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend this property .

Very good property in nice neighborhood. Only problem was the washing machine was broken but the property manager will refund one nights stay. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely house in an upscale neighborhood with easy access to all the SW Utah has to offer. The house is clean and fully appointed. Check in, check our was effortless. Will very likely stay again if they will have us back.
