Nestled in Houston, this charming house for $670 per night is a great choice for your next break. Come stay in this rare, cozy piece of Heights history. A 1930's Church, converted to loft-style living of a true architecturally exceptional Duplex Property. The home features 4 bedrooms + 2.5 bathrooms and can sleep 10 guests. The 2nd level open floor plan is a great place for gathering, featuring, 14' exposed beamed ceilings, original hardwood floors, and an amazing bricked wall of windows. Outdoor spaces include a spacious 2nd floor covered deck, and large fenced yard with private Heatable POOL (Pool can be heated from November - April ONLY for additional fee). This is the perfect location for just a few minute walk to boutique shops, local eateries, coffee shops, craft pubs, and more. Close Eats BB's Tex-Orleans, Coltivare, The Breakfast Klub, B&B Butchers and Restaurants, Frank Pizza, Handies Douza, Nancy's Hustle, The Post Wine and Beer Garden Nearby Shops Heights Common Market, Lucy's Boutiques and Gifts, Warby Parker, The Whimsy Artisan Boutique, Urban Chic Vintage Boutique, Emerson Rose Not Far Away Fun Barbarella, River Oaks Theater, Cezanne, Minute Maid Park, The Galleria, Twilight Epiphany Skyspace, Space Center Houston, Museum of Natural Science Things to Know Please pay close attention to the following: Non-compliance could result in sizable fines. -This property is a Duplex and shares a wall and fence with the neighbors. Parties/ Loud Music are prohibited. -24hr monitored Exterior Surveillance Camera on property. -A 3-night minimum stay may be required. -The maximum occupancy is 10 adults. -Rental Agreement must be e-signed after booking, which requests the names and ages of adult guests. -No bachelor parties allowed. -Age restrictions apply. Please inquire for more information. -Additional deposits may be required. -No pets allowed. If you are traveling with a pet, reach out as we can help you find a pet-friendly place. -Pool Heating Note: The pool heating fee is $85 per day (November - April only) up to 85 degrees. If the average temp during your stay is below 55 degrees, then we are not able to heat the pool. You must let us know 48 hours in advance of check in if you wish to have the pool heated for your arrival. -To keep our home beautiful, we ask that you not hang decorations on the walls. Tape, tacks, and other adhesives tend to peel paint and leave marks, etc. Glitter and confetti decor are also prohibited both inside and outside. Evidence will result in an additional cleaning fee of $250, plus the cost of damages to home. -Enjoy a smoke, just not inside. Please ensure all doors and windows are shut and dispose of your ends in the outdoor trash bins. Indoor smoking will result in a sizable fine. -Indoor smoking will result in a $500 fine + the cost of smoke removal treatment. -Reservations made during Events, Festivals, and Conferences are non-refundable. This is my 2nd time staying at this property this year! I really enjoyed the convenience of being close to downtown and the Galleria. Enjoyed being able to walk to some local restaurants. House layout is great. Kitchen is open into the living room which makes it nice to engage with family as I make a special family dinner. It was overall just awesome! I will definitely stay here again!

We can’t say enough good things about this property. Everything was lovely. The location, the home, the amenities, the beds, the pool, the reservation process and communication—all was wonderful. We also appreciate the professionalism and responsiveness of the property mgt company and property manager. We had a great stay and highly recommend.

My friends and I stayed at this property for a long weekend in October. The house was clean and inviting — with lots of natural light and tons of space to gather to talk, eat and relax. The pool was perfect for a quick dip, even in October!
The property management was helpful, attentive and even sent someone over to look at the lock on the door when we were having trouble with it. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean and comfortable!

We needed a place to stay while our new home was being made ready. The pool was excellent for the kids, and they actually really like the artificial turf, which I wasn't sure about. The house itself is stylish, but you can tell that its been a while since it has had a refresh. Its just the wear and tear of having a rent-home, I'm sure. Just know that the photos are accurate in terms of what's actually in the home, but it isn't as new looking as when the pictures were taking (maybe 5-7 years ago?)

This house is meticulously decorated with beautiful art and quality material. The neighborhood is so nice. Taking a walk, you will notice historical homes that have been restored to their former glory. The AC worked great. Access to Disney + was a win for the kids, a fully stocked kitchen with every thing you need but food. We didn’t have to leave accept for the one event we came to Houston for. I definitely want to stay there again!

We were a group of CT moms who came down for a girls' trip to the Final Four and this house was a perfect home base! The Heights is a great neighborhood and we loved the heated pool.

Great spot to stay for a girls’ weekend with a walkable neighborhood and lots of bars/restaurants nearby. The pool is in the front yard, and we enjoyed a daily cold plunge with brisk February temps!

The property is great -- a really neat house and well appointed. My family of five (two adults and three kids in the teen/tween age group) and my parents all stayed there. The house has great open space for the kitchen and living area and the bedrooms are great. Bathrooms are good -- not very large but big enough (especially given the location in a historic area of town). We really enjoyed it and would stay there again.

We loved the neighborhood and location. The one big room concept was excellent for us to gather together for our big meal. We were confused about the pool: we thought it was heated. But the property manager came over right away to turn the heat on and so the kids enjoyed the pool even in the rain!

I stayed at this particular property to celebrate my 30th birthday with my close friends and family. The property is conveniently located to great restaurants and shops. It is also located about 10-15 minutes from downtown Houston. Inside, the property has a great modern look but still remains historic which we liked. It has 4 bedrooms which was just enough for 5 people because 2 other guests were unable to attend. If they would have attended, it may not had been enough room for us all. 3/4 bedrooms had TVs so no one slept in the room with no TV. We were unable to use the pool due to the mosquitoes which were horrendous so please bring repellent. I addressed this with the property manager in which she credited us and we greatly appreciate but it was still disappointing not to be able to use the beautiful pool. Overall, we feel our stay was okay as other instances occurred which I privately addressed the property manager. Hopefully they make the necessary improvements and the house will almost be perfect.

Great house, even better location
This house has it all! Super great hosting space for a group of friends upstairs, outdoors in a covered fanned area as well as a small pool area. Would definitely reccommend for a family, girl friend or guys trip, or a nice get away! Very well decorated. Highly recommend.

For a group with a lot of guests know that this property can accommodate. The living space of the second floor has a lot of wonderful ambiance light. The communication in rules is harsh with a focus on the punitive. We were a 60+ editorial group and the messages remained the same.
The pool looks inviting but the photo’s image makes it look larger than it actually is. Still it is 7 tiles by 17. The dishwasher had soured water and leaks below. A downstairs toilet in the master doesn’t shut off. I wouldn’t have mentioned these but the Renters Club that oversees did not answer my communication. The parking has a chronically muddy space that needs to be filled with black star gravel so that the driver isn’t navigating mud upon exiting the car.
The outdoor steps which are required to enter this duplex have an uncomfortably low rise. Everything you bring will ultimately need to be carried upstairs.
This sits in a wonderful neighborhood (I know as I’m a Houstonian) but the space between the duplexes is a thin wall so light conversational noise carries. Be careful about “noise”.

Cozy house, great neighborhood
Stayed here with two friends. We were looking for a place just to chill and take turns driving our friend to treatments at MD Anderson. The Church House really served us well. We loved doing power walks through the cute neighborhood and there were lots of good options to order in food. The Wi-Fi was out when we arrived, but the building manager was on top of it and had someone out the next morning to fix it. Some rental houses are sterile but this one had a nice homey feeling.

The home would be great but the it needs a lot of minor maintenance. Light bulbs out, baseboards/trim coming loose, holes in the stairwell wall, master bath faucet loose... etc. Not to mention the hairball in the master shower. But the beds are comfortable and the pool is nice.
