Situated in Daytona Beach, this lovely house for $573 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Respectful guests are invited to come and make this your home away from home. Enjoy the private oasis in the backyard. The pool, the large outdoor dining area, the outdoor bar area, lounge chairs, and a gas fire pit seating area. Short 1/4 mile direct walk to the ocean - this is VERY IMPORTANT when renting a beach place. It is a straight short walk to the ocean. NO winding thru neighborhoods or around condo buildings at the ocean. Trust me, this is important. The home makes you feel like you are in the tropics, very airy and comfortable. So many things to do in the area (or nothing but laying in the sun!) like trying your hand at surf fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, or just a long walk on the beach. See the last photo on this listing to look at the free concerts that happen throughout the summer in Daytona! It's a quick 10-minute Uber ride to the Bandshell (a venue right by main street Daytona) with views of the ocean as you listen to your favorite artists. During the Spring you might be able to spot the elusive rare right whales and their babies go by, or a few times a year you can walk by the sea turtle nests. Most every morning you can walk down and catch a glorious sunrise and watch a pod of dolphins go by. A walk or short drive away you will find Publix grocery store ( they deliver!! ) the liquor store, a bait shop, a brewery ( with a food truck outside), And of course so many good eateries and bars all up and down A1A Scenic highway. Oh and instead of walking east the 1/4 mile to the ocean, go west 1/2 mile and you are at a small public kayak ramp with a great dock for fishing. There is also a very big dog trail/park within a mile of the home. Daytonas famous Main Street is just 8 miles up the road ( but you will feel like you are miles away with no traffic or noise) The cool unknown town of Flagler Beach is just a short gorgeous drive 11 miles north up A1A. The pier is a fun adventure - you can even rent fishing gear on the pier or grab a bite and drink and just enjoy the view. The home does have a ring video camera, as well as a Roku and wifi. Also, the cute 2 bedroom pet-friendly w/hot tub "Mermaid House" next door is also available if you have a larger party. Listing number 2006982 When you send your request in for a booking, please tell me about your group and what is bringing you to the area, as well as info about your pets please. There is a PER pet fee for the stay - But this means I allow you to bring ALL your family members! When booking I will just need to know how many. All my homes are on the same street. The Turtle home on the same street is available ( 2/1 Three houses from the ocean), the Mermaid house (2/1 with a hot tub), the Flamingo ( 2/1 with a pool) as well as the Dolphin (2/1 with a pool). All my properties are pet friendly!! As a disclosure to you, my homes do have ring flood light cameras at the front of the home.

This place is the perfect beach experience. The house is bright, fun, and very happy. Super close to the beach you can just walk down the street. I was going to be here a week, now it’s going to be over three 🏝️🌊☀️

This was a wonderful oasis for our family. We couldn’t stop saying how wonderful everything was.
It was so quiet and laid back. The backyard was amazing. The kids loved the pool and stayed there from afternoon until bedtime.
The house was nice and cool when the outside temperatures were so hot.
The location was perfect with room to spread out on the beach. It was a little over an hour to Orlando and Cape Canaveral.
We would absolutely stay here again if we’re back in the area.

I was looking for a warm beachfront property to escape from Minnesota’s cold winter with my childhood girlfriend of many yearsWe went to kindergarten together..! I was looking for a month of relaxation and warmth by a nice pool…My wishes were granted!The house was wonderful, and the pool was great, and the month went by too fast!It was a quiet nice neighborhoodthe house has a great very beachy feel the pool is to die for !!!We named the pink flamingo in the pool, Pinky Lee we will miss him !!We spent many hours in the sun, by the pool, enjoying Pinky Lee!We came home with a great tan!The outside shower rocks!!I now think every house should have an outside showerIf the pool is not your thing, the ocean is right next to you ….Great location!if you’re into visiting Daytona Beach It’s right down the road that’s quite the place to visit and Joe’s crab shack has great food!!!!Love the boardwalk!So many shops to spend your money atI would highly highly recommend this property. I stayed a month and loved it. Hope to return next year.Because I was staying a whole month I was leery of my choice, but everything was the way that it was described online. I am very glad I made the choice. It was a very good time.Very chill and relaxing..And Phyllis, the manager was great!She was very very very helpful and kind.I felt very comfortable with her, and she was very knowledgeable about telling me about all the great spots. We had some great food.The neighborhood is very friendly and Great!!!I have nothing to say bad. Fantastic place. We were there for Bike Week and it was nice to be stay away from Main Street and the noise friends were there working the motocross.
Very relaxing especially with the pool. Ever you need is there. Including some baby furniture. Will definitely stay again Phylliss was always there if we needed anything. Very easy to get along with her

Phyllis is fantastic, and the location of this home can't be beat! You walk just a few steps to the end of the street for the sunrise at the beach, and then you go to the other end of the street for the sunset on the river. We cooked many meals in the well-stocked kitchen, and we really enjoyed sitting outside by the pool. The little room by the front door now has a small dining table and chairs (not the couch and table as pictured), which is GREAT because it was too chilly on a few days to eat our meals by the pool. It is so close to all the "action" but really feels tucked away and cozy just like the description says. You will have a great time in this home!

Location and atmosphere can’t be beat, not to mention the amazing folks in Ormond Beach. You won’t meet a nicer group of people. House is an oasis of calm with charm galore, and Phyllis is an excellent host. We will be back!

This area is underrated. 5 minute walk to the nearest beach entry, with lifeguard stand. We found excellent bars and restaurants no more than 10 minute walk. Pool area is amazing! Pool was refreshing and clean. AC and house were very nice and stocked well. We spent the majority of our time by the pool. Extremely safe area as well… we walked back from the sea drift sports bar late every night. Great sea breeze as well!

We loved the beautiful pool and backyard, and you can't beat the location. A short walk to the beach, close to restaurants and a grocery store. Phyllis was an exceptional host, she was very responsive and thoughtful. She recommended activities and restaurants for us to check out while we were in town. This house was perfect for our family vacation (2 kids under 12 and our dog). The house was very clean, comfortably furnished and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time in Ormond Beach. We loved the beautiful pool and backyard, and you can't beat the location. A short walk to the beach, close to restaurants and a grocery store. The property is perfectly sized for a family. We have 2 daughters and my mother-in-law stayed comfortably. The property is very clean and landscaped well. The property owner was super responsive to everything, including needing a slow cooker for the stay! Check-out was a breeze. Everything we could ask for was covered.
My favorite part of the stay was the outdoor shower. Absolutely loved the change of pace with the quality of the showerhead. Yes, there is an indoor one, but I have one of those at my house.
There are bicycles, games, pool toys, beach chairs, and even a metal detector! The location is only a 3-minute walk to the beach, and that is from the front door to the sand. You can park your car there too, but I don't want that in my car.
The washer and dryer helped keep dirty clothes to a minimum so when we return home, I don't start a huge wash day. We grilled out 3 nights in the week we were there.
Location is great. You are so close to the sand. There is a grocery store 4 minutes away. Parks are all around. We had several good hikes that were not too strenuous. I would also add that the Ormond Beach area was VERY dog friendly. 10 minutes North on A1A, Flagler allows dogs on the beach but has to be South of the water tower. There is parking right by the stairs to get to the beach.
I would definitely stay again, no questions asked.

Our group - all over 40 and not exactly rowdy - have been going to BiketoberFest since 2014...there were 6 of us on this trip and we usually stay somewhere between Flagler and Ormond...the location for this house is GREAT...not far from the action and in a neighborhood that when you're ready to sleep, you can sleep...it's an older community and quiet...the back yard is definitely the selling point with plenty of space and plenty of nice chairs to sit around and enjoy each other's company...PLUS a well maintained pool...the bedrooms are spacious...but the twin beds are very firm...definitely kids beds...the master and other bedroom are comfy...the only downfall is that there is only one shower / tub combo...there is a half bath with toilet and sink so after someone showers they can finish getting ready in there if needed...there are mirrors, although a bit dusty, in the bedrooms and a door mirror so the women in our group were good with that...with the 6 of us we really didn't run into any issues with only one inside shower though...if needed there was a shower outside and with Florida weather who wouldn't want to take a shower outside...it really wasn't a big deal and definitely not a deal breaker...with 6 showers each morning we did not run into any running out of hot water issues....the kitchen was well stocked and plenty of towels, etc...once we figured out the WiFi our Amazon Firestick worked perfectly for the only large, flatscreen TV in a well furnished living area with plenty of places to sit...our overall experience was great and worth a 4 to 5 star rating for an older rental home! I love surf fishing and caught a bunch! Bluefish, whiting, pompano, pinfish even a baby hammerhead (all safely released). The kitchen amenities were perfect, I didn't need to buy a thing in order to cook some of my families favorite meals. The house was roomy and furnishings were very comfortable. A/C ice cold. The area around Ormond Beach was filled with a varied selection of trendy restaurants. There are shops within walking distance. Our host, Phyllis, was responsive and communicative, and arranged for same day service when there was a minor pool issue, and provided us great local insight into the surrounding area. I can't wait to visit her beach house again!

Wonderful place, with fantastic outdoor space including a great pool, and plentiful seating. Inside, there's a well equipped kitchen, and great living room. It's only a couple of minutes walk to the beach so easy to access. There's plenty to do in the area and was a lovely place to stay. Phyllis, the host, wants to make your stay great and is available for help and info as needed.

Perfect spot between the beach & waterway!
While we were close to both the beach @ waterway we enjoyed the beautiful backyard and pool the most. It was such a beautiful, relaxing spot. Phyllis was very attentive and genuinely wanted our group to have a great time. We would definitely return.
