Situated in Tybee Island, this lovely cottage for $1,694 per night is a great option for your next break. Immaculately restored original Tybee beach cottage circa 1938. Respectfully reinvented and designed by Joel Snayd of Rethink Design who has been featured in Southern Living, Better Homes and Gardens and Savannah Magazine! This enchanting cottage sleeps 14, has airy wraparound porches and the most adorable kitchen you’ve ever seen! The house features five bedrooms 2 1/2 baths. The house is divided into 2 dwellings, the upper unit features three bedrooms ,1 1/2 baths and a living area with a queen pull out sofa. The lower unit AKA the hideaway, features two bedrooms, 1 bath and a large living area with sectional couch. Perfect for a movie night with the whole gang! The cottage is conveniently located mid-island on Tybee's main strip and easily walkable to restaurants, shops and bars. To top if off the Tybee Market is a stones throw away! Park your car and never have to drive again on vacation! The house is located on the beach side of the street and you can view the boardwalk from the front porch an easy 2 minute walk to toes in the sand! This house has everything for the perfect beach vacation - would absolutely stay again. The entire house is very well stocked with anything you could possibly need and is a very short distance from a boardwalk to the beach. You do not have to cross the street to get to the beach. It is also within walking distance from the grocery store and several restaurants. The owner was also very quick to respond with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Amy has an awesome property & was a great host! She was very responsive. The house was in walking distance of the beach and many shops, bars, & restaurants. Also, the property is right across the street from a grocery store. It’s about a 25 minute drive into Savannah. Overall, we had a great stay & the house was so cute & perfect for our trip!!

My family went to Tybee for vacation. We stayed at Summer Love and had such a relaxing week. We were a group of 8 adults to include 4 ranging from ages 21-24. We would get up and have coffee on the fabulous porch, take a short walk to the beach for the day, relax with an afternoon cocktail on the porch, take a walk to get dinner and end up playing games at night on the porch. The house is in a great location with easy walks to the grocery store, beach, bars and restaurants. The house is equipped with everything you need from beach chairs to cooking. Road noise did not bother us, we are early risers and mornings and evenings were quiet. During the day it was a bit worse but to be expected being on the main road. Parking was tight for our SUV but fine for my son’s Mazda3, need to watch for the yellow curbs. Amy was quick in responding when we needed assistance. Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves and said they would come back and vacation again. We made great memories staying at Summer Love and I’m so glad we had the opportunity.

The appointments were wonderful! Family really enjoyed the space. We could easily walk to the Tybee market, “the strip”, and favorite eating places.

Beautifully decorated house in great location!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Summer Love. The location on mid-island was perfect with an easy, short walk to the beach. House was clean and well-appointed. Street noise wasn’t an issue at all. Only small negative, which could be a positive for some, is that the upstairs and downstairs are completely separate and only connected by outside stairs. Had a great time playing shuffleboard. Having two washers and dryers was great too! Owner was very responsive.

Also when searching for a lost toy under the beds and couches were very dust with lots of former tenants lost items. The house is lovely they just need to be sure there cleaning company is a little more diligent.

Excellent home and Property Manager
Loved every part of the stay except two things. Road Noise which arguably they had no control over during the day. But at night each room had a "white noise" machine that drowned out the outside noises and made sleeping comfortable. The second issue was that the advertisement made me think I was "on the Beach and only a couple minutes walk down a boardwalk to the water. That wasn't exactly true. We were 4 houses away from the Boardwalk on a dead-end street. These little issues may sound picky but now that I know what I'm up against, I would HIGHLY recommend the home for a vacation stay. There were so many things that were right about this home that made it a wonderful stay. The Property manager was absolutely on top of it all. She had every amenity we could have hoped for and was ready for her guests.

Perfect Stay All Around
This property was absolutely stunning. The decor was outrageously gorgeous. We loved all of the outdoor seating and porches. We utilized the large table for group meals, the kitchen had all amenities needed and more (thanks for the coffee!), all of the fridge space was so helpful. The beds we comfy, the sound machines and televisions in each room was a great touch. Lastly, all communication with the owner was quick easy, and she was incredibly accommodating to all special requests. I highly recommend this property for groups or families!!

We had such a great time and the house had so much charm and cute decor. We were a bachelorette group and it was perfect for us to all stay together but with plenty of space to spread out!

Gorgeous, Quaint and Prime Location!
We had a group of 13 stay at Summer Love and we had a GREAT trip. The layout of the home was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 7 kids. Our 3 families were able to spread out and enjoy the back yard (awesome fire pit area) and had a great time relaxing on the many different seating options on the wrap around porch. Amy was a great host and was always responsive to our inquiries and request. She had a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us and a bag of firewood so that we could enjoy a fire on the first night of our stay. Beach access was awesome and our group enjoyed morning walks to watch the sunrise and evening dinners watching the sunset. Proximity to “downtown” and the IGA was perfect. We would absolutely stay again.

The reviews on this property were good but our experience was different. We arrived and the host was still at the property. She told me that there were rats in the lower level but that she had treated for them. A couple of days later, my wife saw a live rat in the laundry room and my son killed it. Not long after, there was a terrible smell and we found another dead rat in one of the laundry rooms. Two door screens were torn and we had a service man at the house during our stay to fix them. A toilet broke and the service man had to come back to fix it. The house, actually two separate units, is on a busy four lane avenue. Very loud with traffic. The property is more like a five minute walk to the beach, not 2 minutes. There are old windows that do not lock. The main upstairs unit is pretty nice but the lower unit is not very nice and we felt bad having our kids sleep down there. They had to deal with some large bugs. You have to walk outside in order to access the other unit. For $600 plus all the fees and taxes, you can do better. We would look elsewhere.

Great vacation home
Our two families including nine children and teenagers really enjoyed our stay. The location near the beach and across the street from the IGA was perfect for our group. The house had everything needed for everyone to relax between our time at the beach and bike rides to nearby restaurants and sights. There are many areas for people to spread out and we especially liked spending time on the screened porches. If you are looking for a comfortable and stylish place to stay right in the middle of everything Tybee Island has to offer, you should consider this property.
