Since this cabin is only 1.5 miles from Downtown Gatlinburg, you can explore excellent attractions like Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, The Village Shops, and Anakeesta Gatlinburg. If you plan on exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this rental is also convenient for reaching several entrances to the national park including the Sugarlands entrance, the Cherokee Orchard entrance, and the Greenbrier entrance. After a great day exploring the mountains, you'll love returning to this luxury cabin with an impressive mountain view. For some quality time with the people who matter most, gather around the warmth of the wood burning fireplace in the living area. To relax, you can always take a dip in the cabin's private indoor pool that has stunning mountain views. "El Chalten" also comes complete with useful features like a fully-equipped kitchen, a charcoal grill, WiFi Internet, indoor pool, air hockey table, pool table, and a cozy living area with television. Extra sleeper sofas and a washer & dryer. Once you’re ready to get some rest before your next day of adventure in the Smokies. “El Chalten” features 4 comfortable bedrooms. The main level master suite includes a king-size bed, in-room Jacuzzi tub, full bath, and television, the 2 additional bedrooms provide queen-size beds and full bath, Downstairs while the third features a King-size bed. All the lower level bedrooms come complete with their own television cabin can sleep up to 12 guests in comfort(including children), so it’s just the right size for a family getaway or a weekend in Gatlinburg with friends. Guest access All areas of the Cabin. Other things to note: We always suggest travel insurance as we do not refund due to road conditions, storms, medical conditions including COVID or inclement weather conditions. Third party amenities, such as electricity, gas, and internet are beyond our control. In the event of service interruption beyond our control, you agree that you are not entitled to, nor will you seek compensation of any kind, including partial or complete refunds for any such interruption. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot offer early check-ins or late departures. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to make sure your cabin is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay. Note: 100% of the cleaning fee goes to a local single mother that does a great job. Cleaning Company provide ONLY A starter pack includes: coffee packets (2), laundry detergent (1), dishwashing powder (1), dishwashing liquid (3oz), kitchen sponge (1), kitchen towels (1), paper towels (1), (2) toilet paper per bath, body soap, shampoo, and (2) garbage bags for each garbage can. We have in effect very STRICT HOUSE RULES due to unfortunate guest behaviors. Please follow the house rules including the following: Extra persons exceeding your booking are not allowed to stay in the property. We have cameras outside the property checking number of guests and security at night checking the premises for no extra guests. Exceeding the maximum number of occupants is considered a breach of contract and you will be asked to leave the premises without refund. Max Occupancy 12. Exceeding max number of occupants is considered a breach of conflict and you will be asked to leave the premises without refund. Events allowed: birthday parties, family gatherings, weddings Max Attendees 12. No pets allowed. Bringing pet(s) is in breach of contract and you will be required to leave the premises immediately without refund. You must be 21 years old to rent this cabin, I.D required at check in. Person making the reservation must be present during the entire stay. Current Year Pool Pass is required for entry to all pool areas. Pools are officially open Friday of Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Pool Hours are 9am to 9pm daily for all pools that are scheduled to be open The North Clubhouse is the Closest to the Cabin. South Baden Clubhouse This facilities is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance. Upper Alpine Clubhouse This facilities is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for maintenance. North Clubhouse This facility is closed for maintenance on Wednesdays. IF ANY OF THESE RULES ARE BROKEN, BOOKING CAN BE CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY AND EVERY GUEST SHOULD VACATE THE PROPERTY WITHOUT REFUND.

Beautiful spacious cabin. We had plenty of room for 3 families. Very clean. The kids had fun in the hot tub. The adults had fun w the pool table, air hockey. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful cabin with excellent views. Easy to get to location. Cleanliness was lacking. Floors were left sticky from the last guest and hair on the bathroom floors, sinks and showers. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need to cook with but on but doesn’t have anything like spice, not eve salt and pepper. So if you are going to cook, you will need to pick that stuff up.

El Chalten is in the mountains. The view is beautiful. The road to the home is steep in areas and it winds around a lot. I would suggest arriving in daylight. The home is so nice. Plenty of room for the 6 adults and 4 children. The kids loved the game room! We stayed over Christmas and the owner had a decorated Christmas tree in the home with other tastefully done decorations. The outside of the house had lights on it as well. The kitchen was stocked pretty well with dishes and utensils, but only limited serving bowls. We all enjoyed the deck area and fire table. We had one problem with the refrigerator but it was taken care of within a few hours. Overall, everyone had a great time and we would recommend a stay in the beautiful home.

My group had a great time. The views and peaceful of the house were just what we needed. We did a lot of cooking in and were happy that the kitchen and grill were fully equipped for our needs. The only thing needed was hot pads for getting things out of the oven/grill. The location was the best part we could easily get into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge for any activities we wanted to do. We are already looking to visit again!

This house is in an absolutely beautiful location sitting at the top of a mountain between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The views are breathtaking and plenty of outdoor space/seating to enjoy them. The indoor pool and hot tub were an added bonus. House is just as advertised.

Where to begin...had a great view of the mountains and we always saw bears which was the highlight of this trip. It was a nice cabin, but could have been better maintained. Being only 3 years old, it was surprising that there were so many things that didn't work. The little things: several lamps and several plugs didn't work, oven door broken, dishwasher (rack was hard to out), knobs broken on hot tub/pool, cabin was not very clean, clumps of hair in showers, grease from grill outside on floor, pool/spa was dirty, Bluetooth in pool area didn't work, one dish towel, no soap in bathrooms, nor kitchen, no cascade for dishwasher, no trash bags, no sheets for the pullout couch, & dead batteries in most of TV remotes. To me, if you are going to classify this cabin as "Luxury" then you should pay a little more attention to detail and add a few things extra that I have seen in cheaper cabins. Now the one BIG thing: the refrigerator from the time we got there to the time we left it was over 50 degrees. We called the owner and she called maintenance but they were a no-show. You would think we would be alerted quickly to make arrangements for food but we found out much later he would be there the next day. Again, I would think a luxury cabin would be more on top of these issues. We ended up having to throw away over $200 in food because we were worried about food poisoning from being out of temp so long. Disappointing to pay a luxury price for a not so luxury experience!

Could’ve been great if it were well-maintained and cleaned properly. Not as advertised “Brand New/Luxury” ? Property manager failed to come through on fixing problem TV in the main room, which is where we wanted to spend most of our time together at the cabin.

Multilevel house, great spa and endless pool. Fantastic decks. The house doesn’t have a pantry nor any closets. Perhaps the best part of the house is the spa/endless pool overlooking the valley. Very twisty and winding road to property (as are all properties in this area). There were numerous large spiders and webs on the deck that we had to knock down or ignore. Many of the cabinet doors are ill fitting and will not open all the way. This can be easily corrected, but thought I would mention it. We had some schedule mistakes, which were completely our fault, but we added an additional night over our original reservation, well past the cancellation deadline. Our host was accommodating and allowed us to pay for the additional night. However, I failed to take into account all of our schedules. We requested a partial refund of the added night and the property manager blamed VRBO for not being able to refund the night. We contacted VRBO and they told us they would contact the property manager to get permission to refund the added night. In further talks with the property manager they were still blaming VRBO. I don’t have a problem with not refunding us as we knew that was a possibility. What I have issue with is the lack of candor from the manager still blaming VRBO when the possibility existed for a refund. This disingenuous communication casts a shadow of distrust over the entire transaction. Just know they will hold you to the contract.

Karina and Maria were wonderful hosts. Our family enjoyed our time, especially the super fancy spa/swim 'pool'! The views were breathtaking, as you get to see the sunrise AND sunset! The beds were clean and so comfortable. The property is a little removed from other, surrounding cabins - so, more quiet than most!

This cabin was amazing! Everything from the rooms, the pool, games, and the views were excellent! Our group of 8 had more than enough space to enjoy the decks. Would definitely rent this cabin again.

The cabin was fantastic! Very clean, easy check in. Kids loved the game room & spa. Very enjoyable for all. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable for our family of 10. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the views and the grill. If your goal is to see bears, this is the place to stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin and would stay again. Great view. Pool was great for our little ones. Highlight of our stay - a mama bear and her 3 cubs visited the cabin on our last night here. Also saw 2 other bear at other times. Loved our first trip to this area!

This cabin is beautiful. Game room, pool, hot tub. Large table on one of the balconies where we loved playing games. Rocking chairs on the balcony perfect for relaxing & enjoying the amazing view. We've been to Gatlinburg many times & this is the best place we've ever stayed. We will definitely be back!

Was way more than I expected, the cabin was absolutely beautiful, the pool and hot tub were so nice to relax and hangout in. Very clean , had everything we needed for our stay. The only negatives I have is the refrigerator was very loud and I didn’t know the cabin was on top of a mountain as I’m terrified of heights so driving up a steep mountain wasn't something I was prepared for , but once we reached the top the views were breathtaking !!

This house had everything as described in the listing and the photos. Would definitely be considered a luxury property with comfortable beds. Easy to find and convenient location. Very clean throughout and felt prepared for a visit. Internet worked well. Property manager was quick to respond to all my questions and problems. We stayed with 12 adults but the cabin is more suited towards eight adults but we made it work. A few things that were disappointing. Is that the oven doors still do not close properly, even after others have posted that both ovens were broken and the dining room only seats 11, appears one chair is missing.

When we arrived the pool was filthy. The owner was notified and the pool cleaning people flipped their car upside down on the snowy roads. So it took a few more days to clean. The water pressure in the cabin is minimal and it took several hours to fill the pool. Bathing and dishes took quite some time due to low water pressure. We deserve a refund due to the pool fiasco. The floors in the cabin were dirty. We wore socks and the bottoms would be black from the floors.

We were drawn in by the pictures of the cabin. When we arrived, pictures didn’t do it justice. It was a wonderful place to rent for the extended weekend get away. The property is well maintained, had all of the amenities we need to make some meals at home. We were able to spot a small black bear climbing some trees, from the view off the back deck. Highly recommend.

Overall I was very pleased with the property. The size was perfect for our family of six adults and one child. The pool and game room gave us plenty to do when we had some rainy days. The place was perfectly clean except for the master bathroom which had some mildew along the base of the shower. The kitchen was well equipped the only thing it was missing was some measuring cups and spoons. On our last evening we were visited by a mama bear and her baby which was fun. I would defiantly recommend this rental and would stay here again in the future.

The kids loved the games. Sleeping was great for everyone. Was glad that you could adjust heat on each floor. I was VERY stunned to see that the only curtains were for the bedrooms balcony doors. NONE for the master bathroom. Was not as clean as I thought should be. Found items under the beds, shower curtain in one bathroom was torn, no instructions to run spa and pool. Water looked a little off, so kids didn't stay in pool for any length of time, instead enjoyed the games. Light over the stove was burnt out/broken. Had a lot of utensils, dinner ware and cooking items. This is far from being a brand new cabin.

Let me begin with the views from the deck, they were beautiful and unobstructed. The home filled all of our needs, enough beds with privacy for all of us. I hosted this trip for my two adult sons and their wives as well as my three grandchildren. We were all very happy with the sleeping arrangements and since the beds are on the lower and upper levels we could put the kids to bed and they were undisturbed by the adults on the main level and deck. We all loved the open floor plan, our family enjoys eating in so with the open floor plan no one was "left alone" in the kitchen to prepare meals. I would recommend more or brighter lights in the kitchen/dining room area. Apparently, the light over the stove top was not working or at least we couldn't figure it out. I really hesitate to even mention this because it did not take away from our great experience. The kiddos loved the indoor pool, they were in it every day. But the most memorable and awesome part of our stay were the daily visits from the local bears. It seemed as this was their daily path into the woods below us. It was definitely my hope that we would see a bear or two while visiting but never dreamed that we would all get to see Mama Bear and her four cubs walk down from the road into the backyard. We got to see the cubs playing around with each other and digging in logs for "goodies". We were amazed that they paid no attention to us while we watched them from the deck. We got some great pictures and videos as well as a fantastic experience for young and old. We are already planning a return visit in a couple of years, we had a wonderful and memorable time!

I booked this cabin for our honeymoon and my birthday (they fell in the same week). Karina was amazing! She made the check in process so easy. The house was amazing! My favorite part was that the hot tub and pool were inside the house so you didn’t have to freeze your butt off going from the heat of the hot tub through the freezing cold air.
I had told my husband on our way there that all I wanted was to see bears and we saw 6 or 7 on my birthday! I was so excited lol.
The only “negative” thing I have to say is trying to work the pool/hot tub was a little difficult but that was solely on us as the operators. You could control the temp and make it as hot or cold as you liked, you could add lights, decide if you wanted the jets or not, and you could play the radio or connect your phone with Bluetooth. Connecting our phones to the Bluetooth was the only part I couldn’t figure out but how often does one connect a phone to a hot tub?
Overall, our trip was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon/birthday getaway. We would definitely stay here again and bring our little one next time!

The pictures are a little betraying. Property was nice, but not what I was expecting. Oven wouldn’t heat unless you stood and manually held it shut. The “pool” is an indoor swim spa, that wouldn’t heat up. Cleanliness was lacking, especially in bathrooms.

Everything was great in the cabin! Check-in was smooth and checking out was just as easy. We found a few things left behind from the cleaning crew, but nothing major. The hot tub and pool were a huge bonus! We even got to see a family of bear! We would definitely love to make another trip to this property. Breathtaking views were the highlight of the trip!

We enjoyed the cabin. There does need to be a toaster in the cabin. We have no complaints about the cabin's cleanness. Access in and out of the cabin was easy enough.

This place was beautiful and we would love to go back and stay again. The only things wrong were that it took several hours for the hot tub to get hot and so we didnt get to get into it until the next day, and it would be nice if there was furniture on the balconies outside the bedrooms. We were excited to see a mama bear and 4 babies walk across the road in front of the cabin. All in all it's a great place and location, it's too bad so many other places are being built around it that obstructs some of the view.

Our group loved this property. It was very easy to book and check in making even more enjoyable. My only suggestion for the property owner would be to invest some money in repairs for some of the appliances. With that said I would still recommended this property to anybody and would stay there again given the opportunity

We came for a weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. After busy days enjoying the surrounding area attractions there was no better way to relax than sitting in the hot tub/pool or playing a game of pool with friends.

Loved this house. It's beautiful house inside and outside. Great views. It was a bit scary going to the house if you take the Smoky Mountains national park way. Also be aware there are bears in the back yard and front. We saw them every day. It was nice. Also it is close to everything. Little things that could be better is having dish detergent for washing dishes and papertowels to clean up kitchen. TV remote didn't work downstairs. Internet was out one night and there was no TV to watch all afternoon and evening/night.

We loved the house and area, but did have some issues. We had a trickle of water in the kitchen sink. I had to carry water from the bathroom to the kitchen sink to do dishes. I did call Karina the house contact about it. She said the water pressure there wasn’t the best? It was a trickle of water, no pressure at all. The master bathroom toilet wasn’t shutting off after the flush. After two days of taking care of it ourselves I called karina. She did get someone to look at the toilet. He had to get the part to fix it.
When he was there, I showed him the kitchen water trickle problem and he did fix the kitchen sink so we could get water. We were very happy he got water running.
I paid $275.00, for this vrbo rental cancellation . On June 5, I called and texted Karina and told her I needed to cancel off the last day of the rental July 28th. I needed to be back in Iowa to work. She did not help me at all with getting my refund for July 28th.
It was from June 5 and cancelled date was July 28th. Way more than a month ahead of time. Only after talking to vrbo did I get $275.00 back from the over 600.00 a day rental. I wasn’t happy about that.
I wanted to talk to the owners of the house and no help there either. I wasn’t happy with this!

Listing was very accurate. The views were spectacular, outdoor areas were very large with multiple areas to accommodate everyone. We were also treated to a great view of fireworks every night at 9:40 from Dollywood. The inside of the cabin was exactly as described. Very large rooms and multiple areas for the different age groups. Everything was exceptionally clean when we arrived. Communication with the owner was very easy with prompt replies. Only complaint was the lack of closet space. We will definitely be booking this cabin again!!!
