About this house rental
Newly renovated 6 bed / 3 bath lake home on Leek Lake with 275' of frontage. This spacious home will be a perfect option for your next vacation getaway. With just a little over 4,000 sq feet this home has a lot to offer. Large lakeside deck with full afternoon sun that will also make for those perfect sunsets in the evening. The main level has an open concept with a large kitchen, dining, and living room for larger family gatherings. The large master bedroom has a king-size bed and a seating area with a patio door to the lakeside deck. Outdoor hot tub just out patio door available with an additional fee. Two other bedrooms on the main level have a full and queen bed. Downstairs offers a large game room and entertainment room with a pool table with a ping pong tabletop. The lower level also has three bedrooms, one hosting a king, one with two twins and a queen, and one with a queen and twin bunk beds. This lake home will offer a great family vacation. A lakeside seating area, overlooking the lake will provide hours of entertainment. A dock and lakeside firepit are also provided. This location is private and conveniently located less than 60 miles from Fargo and 3.5 hours from Minneapolis. Leek Lake is truly a hidden gem with gas, pizza, and ice cream available on the lake. This home is fully furnished with linens, towels, paper towels, pots, pans, utensils, a gas grill, and soap and shampoo. All you need to bring is your favorite food and drink. The boat and lift in pictures are not available for guests. Please ask us about our pontoon rentals.

This is the 2nd time we have rented this property over President’s weekend for our family Christmas celebration. We have 3 adult children living in different states. Our group consisted of 8 adults and 2 children. We had a blast. Beds were comfortable, property clean, and having the pool table and hot tub was nice. We would highly recommend this home! Perfect for our family.

Family from around the country met for our Thanksgiving and Christmas celebration. There was plenty of space for 14 adults and 1 infant. The house was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Check in and out was simple. We plan on coming back.

Great stay, little dated inside. Rugs need to be replaced. Beds were comfortable, house was clean. It was a perfect for our group and I would rent again.

The property was clean and spacious the water was interesting rusty but had been forewarned so had a lot of bottled water. Everyone had fun Darin was easy to get along with and prompt regarding my requests thank you

Overall a nice location and house. Very limited on some supplies. Only given one towel and one wash cloth per person, three garbage bags and four dishwasher pods. That did not go far for a 4 day vacation with 14 people. If you plan on washing clothes bring your own supplies as there was none.
If you rent the pontoon make sure you know there is a 175.00 delivery fee and a two day minimum rental.
There is no sandy area by the lake so if you have young kids be aware of this.

Kids had a blast catching bass and northerns off the dock. This was my first experience with the VRBO and I was really satisfied overall. We had family come from all over and it was a great weekend. Hot tub is extra and it was pretty dirty but the kids didn't mind at all and spent a lot of time in it! there was a couple little vacuums to help clean it out that they used. I was pleasantly surprised at all the stuff that was supplied. full kitchen, towels, bedding, shampoo, conditioner soap. all came in handy. I wish I had seen in the original email that we had to strip the beds, but it wasn't listed there and we didn't do that, but other than that. A beautiful, quiet lake that we really enjoyed!

Very spacious & comfortable. Had plenty of room for us all. Wished the weather would have been more cooperative, but we managed to occupy ourselves with games & visiting.

It is a really nice property. We found a few simple issues right away. We communicated with management and they responded immediately. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

This home had a great layout for our group. We comfortably slept 12. We had 3 couples upstairs each in a private room and 6 adult "kids" downstairs. Our group came to go snowmobile riding in the area. The hot tub was welcome after the day. Others in our group enjoyed snow shoeing on the lake (easy lakeside access) and some went shopping in the area. The home had everything we needed accept a Pizza cutter:) I'm guessing it went missing along the line and was an oversight. We got by fine with cutlery. Plenty of towels and paper products were provided. The table could have been larger for our group and game playing but in no way effected our fun. The only issue we had was with the water. It had a terrible smell. We figured it maybe just hadn't been rented for a little while so ran the water to refresh water heater, etc. and it did not get better. You could not drink it at all. We aren't picky tap water drinkers but had to make a trip for bottled water. Overall would recommend. Thanks!

Great space with multiple bedrooms to accommodate a dozen adults. We have a home on another local lake which we were using for a family wedding, so needed a home close-by as a temporary place over the Labor Day weekend.

The cabin was clean and spacious; We spent the time playing board games, doing puzzles and eating good food. Was a nice time.

Outstanding!
Nothing but good things to say. Property was beautiful, perfect for our siblings/spouses week. Darin was very responsive and helpful to the few questions we had.
This is definitely on our list of return visits.

Very nice location, very clean, very spacious, I would suggest if traveling with seniors or someone with some mobile issues, there are no hand rails on the outside to get in making it very difficult getting in front door, once in the home everything is perfect they have one bathroom that works well for them as well. We really enjoyed the out door space enjoying the view and relaxing. We were in town for a weddiing and requested a late checkout and had family and gift opening at the home with lots of room for everything. Wish we would of had pictures the scenery is perfect for pictures.

This property exceeded expectations. We had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend with extended family. Check in process was easy, communication was excellent with owner. Beautiful setting on lake with plenty of fish! Use of the 3 car garage was especially nice for parking, setting up folding tables for meals outside, etc. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in the Vergas/DL/Frazee area!

Great place for family get away

We stayed here for our annual girls getaway. Everything was great! Very roomy and plenty of room for sleeping. The hot tub was a perfect addition. Going into town took approximately 20 minutes. Host was responsive to any questions we had.

Wonderful stay
We stayed in this home for a girls weekend with family and friends. The home was extremely clean with lots of space to roam. We absolutely loved the hot tub and pool table. Would definitely stay here again. Only downside was the sulfur smelling water but if you bring drinking water you will be fine.

Lots of towels for showers and hot tub time. There was a laundry room equipped with detergent so we could keep up on what we used for towels since we used the hot tub multiple times a day. The main living area and the basement had an open area for all of us to congregate to play games and enjoy each others company. It stormed while we where there so being able to park in the garage was awesome! Any question I had before our check in or while we were there Darin answered in a short amount of time. We would definately rent this house again.

Annual Christmas Cabin
Perfect amount of space for 13 people. Lots of room both upstairs and downstairs for games and just hanging out. We rent a cabin every year for Christmas and this was one of our favorites!

We had fun and good time. The place and the view is beyond what we expected. The owner/manger was very helpful and responding to all my messages and concerns. There was a problem in the property but the owner/manger took care of it as soon as I messaged him. I would recommend this place for a family with kids too. Thanks For letting us experience this in this special time of the year.

Loved the layout and space of the house. Owner was good about responding to questions. I didn’t like the idea of no easily accessible satellite or even antenna TV. If you’re going to require guests to use their own streaming service it would be nice to know that in advance and to provide good instructions on how to do so. Sure would have been nice to watch some news or at least the Weather Channel. Also, it would be wise to alert guests to the sulphuric water so they could be prepared by bringing lots of bottled water. All in all a great stay though!

The Trowbridge property was fantastic. We rented it for a family vacation. The house is spacious with plenty of room for 8 adults and 4 kids and 2 babies. A great yard for games and a nice shoreline for swimming. The whole place is quiet and exavtly what we were looking for. A great place to spend time at the lake. We also rented a pontoon through the management company which I would highly recommend. Leek lake is a really nice lake. The water is clean and really very few weads for August. The management company takes care of delivery and pickup of the boat. We would definitely stay here again
