Pelican Pier is a 4 bedroom, 3 full bath, private home with a private heated pool in a private fenced backyard. Heat for pool is $200 per week. Includes a grill, covered lanai, patio furniture, lounge chairs, outdoor dining table, and all the amenities of home. Pelican pier can accommodate up to 8 people with 2 king bedroom suites, and 2 queen bedrooms that share a full bath. Pelican Pier boasts a fully equipped kitchen, keyless entry, full laundry facilities, free wi-fi with streaming capabilities, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and a beach wagon. Large great room and driveway that can accommodate several cars. Melbourne Beach is a barrier island that is close to Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach and Vero Beach. Just 75 miles to Orlando attractions and the Orlando International Airport and 7 miles to the Melbourne Airport. Supermarkets, big box stores, medical/hospital facilities, and restaurants galore are all within a few miles. Check out the flair of Old Melbourne with it's unique shops and local establishments. To begin, the pictures don’t do the property justice. It is much nicer in person. The house was the perfect size for 7 adults. Inside was clean and wonderfully appointed. Everything needed for meal prep, along with a gas grill on patio.
The backyard and pool were great. Between the tropical landscape, and the fence, it offered total privacy. With the covered patio and comfortable furniture, it was great to sit out of the sun in between dips in the pool. Plenty of pool toys are in the garage, along with a wagon, chairs, umbrellas and everything you’d need for a day at the beach.
Speaking of beach, the house location is great. It’s only a short walk to the beach, or to the park at the Indian river. Great restaurants, bars, and cafes are within walking distance, or only a short drive.
My family and I had a great stay at Pelican Pier, and hope to stay there again in the future.

We had 7 adults (all the immediate family) staying for the week. Property was great! Very clean! Well laid out house! Enjoyed being able to walk down to the beach! Went to the Kennedy Space Center from here - very easy drive! Family all had a wonderful relaxing week at the beach and in the pool! Would definitely return!

The house, location and attention to detail was excellent. We were thankful to have super nice beach equipment for our use as well as the swimming pool in the backyard and pool floats. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing reunion with family. Thank you!

This property was the perfect size for our family get together of 5 adults and a toddler. Everyone has plenty of space and Greg was very responsive and accommodating. We loved walking to the breach in the morning and then hanging out in the beautiful backyard by the pool in the afternoon while our little guy took a nap. Highly recommend this place!

This is our third stay at Pelican Pier! Greg is an exceptional host! It has been our family vacation destination for the last two years and has been a great spot to make memories with our adult children! We love the location with proximity to the beach, river, Melbourne Market and restaurants. We will be returning!

Every year our family spends a week in Melbourne beach and this house was amazing in every way. The rooms are very spacious, the kitchen and bathrooms are gorgeous, and the back yard was a great place to spend the day while enjoying the sun and pool. This house is perfectly located in the heart of Melbourne Beach and has plenty of restaurants, shops, and the beach within walking distance. I’d recommend this house to everyone!

Amazing Experience
Greg did an absolute amazing job as the host of this property for our stay. He was extremely accommodating with special requests and his communication back and forth was instant. It was clear that a lot of thought was put into the little details of what makes people on vacation comfortable down to many items you may forget like toiletries/towels/beach and pool gear. The condition of the home was outstanding, extremely spacious, and luxurious setting outside by the pool. The master especially was a dream room. We were there with 4 kids and we had all the room we could ever ask for and then some. When we arrived we were met with a binder going over every detail about the house, what/how to work tvs/appliances/utilities, local restaurants/activities, and just general questions about the area. I would look to stay at this property or any of the Pelican properties again in a heartbeat or recommend anybody I know to do the same as it was the very best stay in a home that we've ever experienced.

Relaxing vacation
The property was just a beautiful as the pictures showed. Pool was perfect for the kids to swim at play while we were not at the beach. The manager was so quick to respond with all questions and very helpful. I really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!

Very solid property, location and experience
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. We were traveling with 3 young children, so having a comfortable, clean and safe place to stay was really important. This property covered all three of those extremely well. Additionally, Greg who manages the property, was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Lastly, at least for us, the location was perfect; walking distance to nice beaches, close enough to amenities to easily get anything we needed, but enough still enough space to enjoy some peace and relaxation. Would definitely stay again!

Better than advertised
Although it looked very good on VRBO, the actuality was better. The property was extraordinarily neat and clean. The master bedroom suite was on one side of the house and the other ensuite bedroom and the two others were down the hall from it Thus creating the master with some privacy. The pool was large enough for us all (5) including two 8 year old playful boys. The pool and beach equipment was plentiful and some brand new. Kitchen was conveniently located to oversee the pool and well equipped. Outside covered patio was comfortable and the variety of furniture/equipment allowed for the area to have multiple uses. The back landscaping provided privacy from surrounding properties and the outside pool/lawn lighting made for a warm ambiance when the sun went down. I had a hard time getting my grandchildren out of the pool. The beach was very walkable and the the sunsets over the bay were beautiful with neighbors gathering to watch from the little park area at the end of the street (it is a quiet neighborhood). The owner was accessible, pleasant and very helpful. This was probably the best vacation rental we have had and we would go there again in a heartbeat. The grandsons claim it was their best vacation ever! Enough said...
