Located in Vancouver, this charming house for $231 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Wake up in a spacious and fully equipped two bedroom suite garden ( 950 sq ft.) suite and make a great pot of coffee or a steaming cup of tea. Decorated with elegance and comfort in mind, ceilings are high in this well maintained character, home stocked with all the amenities you’ll need for your visit. The two large queen bedrooms have comfy beds and fluffy duvets and pillows with nice linens, and are privately located off the open plan kitchen. Enjoy your stay in this clean, comfortable, and fully equipped suite. Direct access through the garden by keypad to the common entrance, and the private, locked-in guest suite waiting for you. Enjoy the English inspired garden retreat. Steps away from great cafes, restaurants, micro breweries, shopping, and nightlife. 10 min from downtown, short drive to hiking trails & sandy beaches, the PNE and fairgrounds, plenty of free street parking. Area 5 Blocks to the colourful Commerical Drive, you can walk to the city’s best gelato, Italian cafes, shops and a wide selection of great restaurants. Our character house is located in quiet, tree-lined residential neighbourhood that links directly to downtown and the mountain slopes. Getting around Ample, free street parking. 5 block walk to Commercial Drive. Public transit is access is steps away, linking to city- spanning Sky train. 10 min drive to downtown core.

The host was very easy to get into contact with and check in was a breeze. They mentioned that parking was easy however there were not many open parking spots while we were there that we were able to park in due to needing permits. So parking was a little difficult to find. It also took awhile to get into the touristy areas of town.
The side entryway to go to the door to the property was very dark and uneven so it was hard to be safe and not trip walking down the side compartment. We were also told there would be a well lit path. You could hear everyone moving upstairs and neighbors singing at night and throughout the day which made it difficult to sleep.
Most of the house appeared to be clean however when inspecting further there was a lot of dust and bugs throughout the property and dead spiders on many of the corner walls. Also the previous guests left food in the microwave and toaster oven that was moldy and smelly and there was hair in the ice that was left in the fridge.
They also only gave two towels for two people for a five night stay and when we found other towels in the closet and used those they were upset we went into the linen closet. I was told to put all the used towels on the floor in the bathroom prior to checkout but was scolded that the towels were in a pile on the bathroom floor.
Overall for the cheaper price it was an okay stay but hopefully they maintain it better for future residents but I would probably suggest a different VRBO

I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The property I rented exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable vacation.
First and foremost, the communication with the property owner was exceptional. They were prompt and friendly in answering all of my inquiries, providing me with all the necessary information I needed to make a booking. Their professionalism and attention to detail gave me confidence that I was dealing with a responsible and reliable host.
Upon arrival, I happy with the location and cleanliness of the property. The VRBO listing accurately portrayed the property’s features. The decor was tasteful, the furnishings were comfortable, and the overall ambiance was inviting.
The location of the property was also a highlight. Situated in a serene neighborhood. Additionally, it was conveniently located near popular attractions, making it easy for me to explore the area and take part in various activities.
Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to the property owner for their warm hospitality. She made sure that my stay was comfortable and memorable.
Overall, my experience at this VRBO property was exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travelers who are seeking a delightful and stress-free vacation rental.

Went to Vancouver for a conference and stayed at the VRBO. House was close to downtown and close to public transportation. With a quick Uber ride you could be in downtown. Place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Would stay again if I was visiting Vancouver.

Location is good, safe and quiet. Room is clean and space is luxury. They provided all basic staff for simple cook.
Jollean is very friendly and helpful. We dropped our luggages in the very early morning since my family arrived Vancouver pretty early. She communicated with me right after I booked the stay several times and provided valuable information before my trip started. She kept in touch with me all the time while we were staying and always ready to answer questions.
There was no tissue and kitchen paper towels. We feel a bit awkward. But there’s enough towels in the room.Not bothered much.

The ad was very accurate and it's a wonderful little appt. Our host was very helpful and check in went smooth. Our host made suggestions for restaurants and tourist attractions.

Bathroom needs fixing behind toilet. Mouldy baseboards and bubbling paint. The whole place smelled a bit musty. I suggest this gets fixed before renting it out again. However the bed was wonderful, and the kitchen had everything that was needed.

The owner on premises was quick to answer questions and handle any concerns. The apartment was very comfortable - neat and clean - for our two couples. It is located in a very nice area and has conveniences including restaurants in the immediate area. We would stay there agian!

The house was nicely furnished and Jolene, the owner, let us know we were always welcome to ask questions or contact her whenever we needed. She gave us suggestions for shops and places to visit, which was helpful in making our experience fulfilling and fun. The house had supplies available and tea towels in place of paper towels, which was nice to use for less waste. The rooms were comfortable and the chaise even had a blanket underneath when you lifted it up. We found we didn’t want for much when it came to the house. Overall, we had a warm and welcome stay, so we would highly recommend it.

The host was extremely kind and helpful, the unit was clean, newly outfitted, and stocked with everything than we needed (and more!), and the unit was close to some wonderful shops and restaurants that we ate at. I would definitely return and definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

Vancouver home for 4 days
I booked this place for my grandparents and they enjoyed it. Communication with Jollean was easy and she offered help with answering any questions. The place was surrounded by parks and restaurants. As well equipped with kitchen and bathroom amenities. Overall were happy with the place.

Just fine but a little chilly
This property met all of our needs during our brief, but wonderful stay in Vancouver! The owner was very friendly, helpful, and responsive when necessary. The location was convenient to many delicious restaurants, and street parking worked well for us. My only suggestions for improvement would be seating for 1 more person in the living room and better chairs for the dining area. Additionally, I think it would be good to make it known that due to concerns about COVID, space heaters were the only source of heat in this basement apartment during our stay. Although the space eventually warmed up, we were very cold at times.
