Located in the desirable Chalet Village community, 3 miles from Downtown Gatlinburg, and 9 miles from Pigeon Forge, Bearfoot Escape is ideally located for whatever adventure you wish to undertake. If you're looking for the ideal Smoky Mountain getaway experience, Bearfoot Escape is just the place you want: modern construction with updated furnishings and amenities. This chalet comes with a spacious open concept floor plan that is perfect for family fun! A visit to Gatlinburg is all about the mountain experience. Unlike other cabins, our view of the mountain range and valley is unobstructed during all seasons. While the view is magnificent during the day, at night it becomes positively magical as cabin lights twinkle throughout the valley. We've designed our outdoor deck area to provide the amenities that will quickly melt away any stress you've brought with you. Start off the morning enjoying your coffee on the porch marveling at the most stunning sunrise. Our outside dining makes even the basic meal enjoyable as you dine with the mountains as your backdrop. At night, slip into the hot tub and star gaze or enjoy the sounds of nature all around. Bearfoot Escape consists of 3 spacious king suites, full bathrooms in each suite, and another half bath on each floor. The efficient split floor plan has a large kitchen, living, and dining area on the main (upstairs) floor with one suite and one half bath; and full game room, two king suites, and another half bath on the lower level. Both floors have covered decks with a different view for everybody's preference! Outdoor cooking, seating, and relaxing is offered throughout each deck including a hot tub (privately off the back), outdoor dining table, rocking chairs, fire pit, and patio heater. Parking is available for up to three cars. As you enter the cabin, you'll be struck by the beauty of the main floor entertaining area. Furnishings of the cabin are comfortable and accommodating for a party of eight. Wood floors and ceilings throughout the cabin set the tone for your relaxing retreat. Show off your culinary skills in our gourmet kitchen with new appliances, beautiful countertops, and fully-stocked cupboards. If you're a grill master we haven't forgotten you. On the deck is a gas grill waiting to be fired up to prepare your steaks, burgers, and chicken. Enjoy that meal with a glass of wine outdoors by our outdoor gas fire pit. Downstairs you'll find a spacious game room, where the competitive juices start flowing across games of pool, foosball, and plenty of classic table-top board games. The game room also includes ample seating (a comfortable love seat and pull-out sofa), a flat screen TV, and access to a covered deck and hot tub. Full laundry can be found in the utility closet right off the game room. Our 2,300 square foot cabin comfortably accommodates groups of 1–8 guests and provides vacation amenities throughout. Each bedroom is beautifully appointed with an electric fireplace, flat screen TV, luxury linens, and sufficient pillows important for a good night’s sleep. A pullout sofa in the game room accommodates the 7th and 8th guest comfortably. For our guest who must stay connected we offer wireless internet and desk space with a 24" computer monitor. Just down the road, our guests have access to all three Chalet Village Clubhouses that feature large swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym, shuffleboard, game rooms, and much more! Pools remain open from Memorial Day through Labor Day each season. We know that you'll enjoy every aspect of Bearfoot Escape, and we look forward to making you feel like our home is your home. Nice place. Clean , safe and great view. No negatives from us.

We loved this rental and will definitely be staying here next year. We come the same week every year and this has been one of the best cabins we’ve ever stayed in. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the driveway but we had no issues.

What a fantastic place. The home was well equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. This place was convenient to all the shops, skiing, and restaurants. We really, however just loved hanging out together in this beautiful cabin. Thanks for having us, we hope to be back!

This cabin is close to town and easy to get to. In all the years that we have been visiting Gatlinburg I have never found a place that I liked as much as this one, everything clean, a wonderful view, we saw bears, we spent some incredible days in this house, super recommended guys

We enjoyed how well organized the home was and all of the amenities that came with the home.
I was extremely disappointing to see that someone destroyed the surface of the Shuffleboard, we went to play it and the pucks weren't sliding right, once I cleared the sand off it was like someone sprayed liquid directly on the board and let it eat through the finish to the cardboard like material underneath. Thankfully there was still Pool and foosball.
The toilets are so new that they are difficult to flush and two of us had to take the toilet tanklids off to manually pull the lever- Those cheap plastic mechanisms they put in new toilets now is unfortunate. The shower and sinks drain very slow and back up which leaves that soap residue when you are done, that was unfortunate.
The kitchen is stocked with all kinds of dishes and well organized and labeled. Every room had a heated electric fireplace which was awesome. We couldn't figure out how to work the living room fireplace upstairs in the main room, the remote was missing.
Be prepared that the driveway is difficult to access for large vehicles turning in as you come up the mountain, it's a very sharp right turn and we had to drive past and turn around and come back down, or back in to the driveway.
While we liked the house overall, the quirks in plumbing, the shuffleboard, and accessibility to the driveway make it an uncomfortable to stay for too long.

This was one of my favorite properties I've been to in Gatlinburg. The chalet was very clean and had everything needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We expecially enjoyed the front porch watching the amazing sunrises and in the evenings sitting around the fire pit watching an occasional bear stroll through. I would highly recommend the property.

We loved the property location, the views, and plenty to keep our kids busy.

We loved our stay at Bearfoot Mountain Chalet! The property was clean and perfect for our party of three couples. We especially appreciated the fact that there were 3 master suites, so each couple had their own bathroom. The views were spectacular with some particularly gorgeous sunrises. Overall a wonderful way to enjoy the Smoky Mountains.

Owner was very easy to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Bearfoot Escape”. I have been going to Gatlinburg for the past 35 years and this was the only place that I’ve ever seen Bears. We saw Bears almost everyday at this cabin. The driveway is very narrow and a little tricky, but after you drive it a couple of times you get the hang of it pretty quick. Furnished and decorated very well.
You will not be disappointed!

Clean neat, since the bears are active in the area the hot tub should be screened in to give users some piece of mind and protect them from any uninvited guest. Also the outside heaters were difficult to get working.

The place is wonderful. My granddaughter loved seeing the bears. We saw bears four different times. We loved waking up early, having our morning coffee on the deck and watching the sunrise. It was perfect with the three king suites for our whole family.

A beautiful cabin with the most amazing view! We saw bears everyday! Keep your doors locked, they (the bears) tried all week to get into my sons truck. We loved the cabin so much that we will rent again! The owner was very easy to talk with and answered any questions that we had. I would and will recommend to family and friends! Thank you for an amazing family vacation, with lots of memories

The house was beautiful along with the views. Very spacious living and relaxing. We saw bears each of the 6 days we were there. Cooking on the grill seemed to bring the bears out of the woods sniffing!! The sunrise was gorgeous. Close to local attractions and pizza can be delivered. This is a place we will be visiting again.

House was great. A/C worked too good had to turn it off as not to freeze. Parking was disappointing since we drove antique cars it looked from the photos as being wide enough to turn around in. Very tight. Overall a great place and nice location

Very comfortable; great location; surrounded by trees; well maintained and stocked. Beds are very comfortable; roomy; and great view of mountains.

The cabin is very, very nice and cozy. The beds are very comfortable even though they feel like they would be hard at first. Plenty of pillows and blankets. The only thing I mistook from the listing was the size of the driveway. In the pictures it looks like it would be wider than it is (it's actually very skinny but long), but that wasn't enough to make us wish we stayed somewhere else. The first day we were there we saw a bear. The next day we saw him again and then on the 3rd day we saw a momma and her 2 cubs!! They got into our neighbor's truck bed because they had full trash bags in the back, so be very careful with leaving food/trash out! Its no joke, the bears were very, very close to us. We were on the top deck and they were nearly on our bottom deck!
Overall, so glad we chose this cabin. The owner is very easy to contact and helpful. Would recommend to everyone.

A great place to stay in Gatlinburg! Spacious Cabin with plenty to do and great views of the mountains. The hot tub and the gas fire pit were great spots to spends evenings at and it was a close drive to anywhere you would want to go while staying there. We even got to watch a few bears stroll by while we were sitting on the deck! I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a great place to stay where they can get away from the noise and crowds of Gatlinburg when they’re done with their day

Great stay and location! Communications with Brandon were answered very quickly and all needs were met timely. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful place! Coffee on the deck while enjoying the view = relaxation. Add to that spotting a few bears walking up the driveway! Easy drive to Gatlinburg, yet away from the hustle and bustle. The house was lovely and spacious to accommodate 6 of us. Owner was immediately responsive to questions. We didn’t use the club house pools, but they would be an added bonus.

We really enjoyed our time at the house! The view was wonderful so we spent most of our time on the deck eating and playing games at the table or sitting around the fire "pit". We saw bears every day we were there, even when we were in the hot tub (that was a little close for us but it made for a good story). The house was stocked with everything we needed and it was a quick drive (all paved roads) to get to the main road. We had a great time!

We thoroughly enjoy the house and it having baby gates a high chair and apply can pay was a definite plus. Beautiful property.

We saw Black Bears from the deck on three occasions in our 4 day stay. The house was spotless, which makes my wife very happy and it starts our stay out and usually ends our stay on a high note. Which it did with this unit. We had 3 couples and the house fit us to a tee. The deck area with fire pit was used everynight. Thanks Brandon.

Nice house. Nice view. Comfortable furniture. Lack of closets was somewhat inconvenient. Suggest having a floor lamp in den.

This cabin made it easy to enjoy a great vacation. I’m a worrier when it comes to vacation and this cabin relieved every worry as soon as I got there. Great location, very clean, everything you need, comfy beds, lots of bathrooms!!!, and really overall worth every penny. Brandon was available to answer questions before we got there and didn’t need him once we got there.. hands down would stay again.

My husband, our 4 adult children and myself had an awesome time at the Bear Escape. It was the perfect location for beautiful sunrises, and play as a family. With all the hiking that we did, the hot tub came in clutch! Thanks for a place to unplug

Our family enjoyed every moment of our stay. The place is perfect and exceeded our expectations. Brandon was excellent to work with. We had a visit from a family of bears almost each day. Check out Astra Lumina when you stay here.

We have been to the Gatlinburg area 3 times within the last year, this house was hands down the BEST house we had stayed at, the views were AMAZING! The house was sparkling clean when we arrived and Brandon, was very responsive and helpful! We will most definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was very clean and had many things for us to do while there. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony with the fire pit. The only things we needed but had to go purchase were non stick cooking spray and laundry detergent. The owner was helpful and provided good instructions for the driveway. We will stay in this location again.

The place itself it beautiful, clean and new. Very comfortable and great memories with my kids. Had some problems with the booking and getting a refund for one night when I needed two nights. In the end we found a great spot everyone would love to come back to. Spectacular view!
