Coastal Soul on South Padre Island - 6BR/6.5BA Beachfront w/Private Pool SPI Rental Permit: 2023-1947 Bring your family to Coastal Soul, a prestigious beachfront home on South Padre Island. With gorgeous views, three levels, private pool, premium amenities, and just steps from the beach - your island vacation starts here! This home has a private boardwalk for direct beach access and a private pool with barbecue grill and plenty of beach chairs and toys! This unique and beautiful beach home also features six bedrooms, five with dedicated bathrooms, and all with new beds for 2021! The ground floor has an open concept living area, dining area, and kitchen. Ample seating is provided at our large dining table along with additional seating at the expansive kitchen bar. The living room features a large HDTV and leads out to the private patio and pool. A convenient half-bath is just off the kitchen area. Also on this level is one of our two master suites, with a king bed and private bathroom with huge shower stall and walk-in closet. The second floor offers an additional living room, a covered deck overlooking the Gulf, and three bedrooms. Our primary master suite is located here with a king bed, private balcony, coffee bar and mini-fridge. The other two bedrooms are equipped with two queen beds in one room, and two sets of twin XL bunk beds in the other (4 beds). Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. The laundry facilities are conveniently located on this floor as well. The top floor offers our third living room, outdoor living space, and kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, toaster and Keurig. There is a full bathroom off the hallway. The first of two bedrooms has two queen beds and a private bathroom with large walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two twin XL beds - perfect for the kids. First and third floor living rooms include queen pull out sofa beds. Each living room and bedroom on the upper levels is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Our kitchen is fully stocked with brand new cookware, flatware, small appliances, dishware, cooking utensils, high chair, and both Keurig and traditional coffee makers. For your beach enjoyment we have two large wheeled coolers, thirteen folding beach chairs, two beach wagons, and a bunch of beach toys! Our brand new Gigabit Internet service and Commercial WiFi system ensures you stay connected, if you need to… Other home amenities include: A Pack-n-play, large grill, keyless entry, and more… Enjoy a lazy day on the beach made convenient with boardwalk beach access, or walk to local shops, awesome coffee shops, the famous Wanna Wanna's, and more! A small welcome package is provided which includes 2 rolls of paper towels, 1 trash can liner in each trash can, liquid hand soap by each sink, liquid dish soap in the kitchen and 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom.

The spacious house provided room for our group to enjoy both each other’s company and quiet solo time. The large living areas and well equipped kitchen provided for easy sociability and convenience. We had the beach to ourselves and the location made it way to run to the grocery and enjoy meals out. Highly recommended.

Property is perfect for being on the beach or relaxing by the pool ! Second time we have stayed here , perfect both times ! Celebrated our anniversary and friends anniversary. Close enough to walk to great restaurants and some souvenir shopping or the liquor store ! Will definitely try to stay here again and again !

My group of 9 (plus my doggie) had a great time here!! It was perfect for a larger group, plenty of bedrooms - and each bedroom had its own bathroom. My sons and their friends enjoyed the gameroom every night. Loved being right on the beach with our own boardwalk and outdoor shower. The pool was only used for one night...no one else got in it any other time, but having a private pool is nice to have. Would definitely stay here again!

This property is absolutely amazing! The overall cleanliness and maintenance are outstanding. The location is very near ANYTHING you may need from groceries to souvenirs, as well as beach food and adult beverages.
The walkway out to the beach literally brings the gulf to your front door!
The kitchen is very fully equipped. We were able to cook everything from crockpot chili, to pancakes and grilled burgers on the nice large Weber Charcoal Grill.
We enjoyed this so much we are seriously looking to return with a different family group!

With both the pool and being directly on the beach, this house was perfect. The ocean seemed extra blue this trip so that was so nice! Lots of space for a nice get-together with family which is exactly what we did. The third floor seemed more private. The old folks and tiny toddlers don’t make it up that far which is a win! 😃. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Coastal Soul was perfect for our family with an awesome view and easy access to the beach!
The beach house had a fully stocked (kitchen & beach items including beach towels) which were greatly appreciated.
Items to address:
We did have some issue with vanity drain and non-functioning TV which they quickly responded to; however, TV could not be fix before our departure. We also expressed an issue with water pressure and stability of water temperature throughout the house which should be addressed. Also, family who slept in queen bedrooms believed they were not true to size.
Recommendations: 1) management remind occupants to empty dryer lent trays (possibly post sign in laundry closets). 2) replacing some of stained bath towels as obviously used by previous occupants in hair tinting process.
We hope to return for another stay and hope our feedback is useful for future stays for all!

Wow! What a great house, great management team ( Bonni was our contact) and great family vacation. We had 22 of us from Texas, Ct , and Va. the house was so great. The number of beach towels, and I am not talking 1 or 2 but at least 10 and beach chairs and other beach items was the best. We did not need to bring anything but our swimsuits and food. The house was clean and we had plenty of room. Beds were comfortable and we all loved the game room. We especially liked the first and second floor balconies for our evening gatherings. The walkway to the beach was nice with not having to cross sand dunes and the beach was close and perfect for family. The management staff recommended Wright Choice Photography for family pics. Andrea did such a great job. Location was great for running out for extra food and was a short walk to the Wanna Wanna where their drinks were the hit of the trip. We had such a great time. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful house. Definitely stay if you can.

Huge beautiful property. Everything was clean. Everything worked. Lots of amenities and extras available to guests. Perfect spot on the beach. Having the boardwalk made it easier to enjoy the beach easily. Pool was great at night as well.

Fantastic house. Quick walk to beach out back door. House had lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for kids. Game room was great and ice maker took care of all of our needs for ice. Very convenient location. 5 minute max to store and restaurants . Pool was a big hit after being at the beach. Couldn’t ask for a nicer beach house.”First Class”

The house has everything and great locations. Only issue was the water pressure in the shower. Not a big deal just took longer to wash off. Would recommend 100%. The view and access to the beach is what we needed to relax.

We were more than impressed with the property. The pictures did not do it justice. It was perfect for our group of 14 and could have slept quite a few more. The best part was the boardwalk down to the beach. Not only did it make for beautiful pictures, it made it so convenient getting back and forth to the beach with chairs,umbrellas and everything else you may need to enjoy your day beside the ocean. We will definitely be back.

Everything was thought of and we didn't need to bring a number of items because they were already there! The access to the beach is amazing and every room is nicer than the photos. The balconies are enough to make a vacation out of sitting on and staring at the view. The bonus game room is wonderful and even has an ice machine! Great house that you don't want to leave.

Our group---total of 6 adults and 3 toddlers---greatly enjoyed our much too short beach trip!
The house was spacious enough to give each family their own space and facilities. There wasn't too much clutter (our toddlers are precocious!), and the provided amenities suited our needs.
For babies/toddlers families: There are two pack and plays, complete with mattresses and sheets, two baby gates, and one high chair available.
I would absolutely rent this place again. Only thing to note is that mobility-challenged people may find this property difficult, unless they sleep on the main floor (one bedroom/bathroom en suite on this floor).

This is a beautiful property with all the amenities one could possibly need. We are 3 siblings plus spouses from 3 different states, all over the age of 60. One sibling and spouse had health issues and could not join us. We had more than enough room for the 6 of us. Plenty of things to do in the surrounding area and many different games to keep us entertained in the evenings. Thank-you for opening your lovely home to us.

Thirteen ladies gathered to celebrate a special birthday. The property was fantastic and even better than displayed in photos. Comfortable, clean and cozy. Owner was very pleasant to communicate with and his property manager responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future. We had a staff trip for work to South Padre and this was a very nice spot right on the beach and large! Can handle a very big family or group. The only issues we had were something leaking on the stairs that caused 1 person to slip and the check in process is kinda ridiculous.
We booked the house and about a month out they send you the check in info. You have to put each guest name age car make model licenses plate and more I can not even remember. Took forever just to rent a house. Then the rules are never ending. If you move something there is a fine, if you don't get off all the sand from the chairs its a $100 fine and so on.... While we signed all that the first day the pool was filthy with sand, leaves and dirty water.
The house really is nice and location is outstanding but just get ready for all the extra bs you have to sign and fines possible.

The house was the perfect location. Had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. The only thing is take batteries for tv remotes. Other than that the family had a great time. House was very nice well kept and a lot of room. Grandkids really enjoyed the beach the water was clear and beach was amazing. The sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. We will be going back.

My family of five rented this home for five nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The house is beachfront and stocked with chairs, coolers, carts, toys, and anything else you could ask for. The pool was clean and large enough for everyone to enjoy. The interior is clean and fully stocked, and beds were comfortable. The owners were very responsive to inquiries before and during our stay. Couldn't ask for better!

The location was perfect - with small children the biggest plus was the very short walk to the beach from the back door! And there were so many items for our use that next year we won’t need to bring as many things. Also has a brand new game room with even an ice machine in it. You never find that in a rental! We’ll definitely be back!

The pool looks bigger in the photo. Need to look at the shower in 2nd floor; the bedroom with 2 beds. It was hard to turn on the shower. But overall we all had a great time . The host was great.

great beach front property
We had a wonderful week. The private walk to the beach was convenient and my kids and grandkids loved the option of either going to the beach or swimming in the pool. The property was equipped with everything you need to do either. The views of the ocean were great. The house is very well maintained and we had no issues while we were there. Beds were all very comfortable. Would efinitely stay there again.

The location is 5 stars! Being right on the beach was our favorite part of our stay! There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Seating in the living room was plentiful and comfortable! The kids loved the game room. My only small issue with it is, the game room was outside and into another locked room. It’s ok for older kids but not for younger, as the sidewalk to the room goes right to the driveway and street. I think an extra gate at the end would be helpful for keeping in kids and dogs as people go in and out of the house to the room. The extra washer and dryer and refrigerator in the game room were handy and definitely used! Every floor has its own AC unit and we were comfortable with what the units had been set on, 72, I think. Everyone was cool even in the middle of a hot Texas summer! Very appreciated! Plenty of chairs, beach toys and towels to use. The house had plenty of regular towels as well. Very nice for a large group! Bring toiletries, laundry and dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags from home. HEB is definitely best for supplies but in a pinch, blue marlin and dollar general are close but not the cheapest! The pool is a little smaller than it appears in pictures but it seemed all pools on the island are small. We made it work with our group of 18!
Make sure you go to the cafe on the beach about a mile away. Great cocktails, wine and food! Delicious chips and salsa! Also the view is gorgeous!
Overall, this property is great for large groups that want to be close to the beach and have a ocean view with access to a pool. Everyone enjoyed our stay!
