Beautifully positioned among the palmettos and oaks on the 18th hole of the Atlantic Dunes Golf Course, this Hilton Head home truly offers one of the most enviable settings in Sea Pines Resort. You'll have a private swimming pool on your fenced front patio, as well as an incredible new (2024) back deck where you can grill, dine in the shade, and watch passing golfers negotiate the 18th green. Enter through the front pool terrace, which is fenced for your privacy, and step inside to find an airy foyer with lofty ceilings, cool brick pavers, and a skylight to let in the sunshine. As you move throughout the house, you'll discover an open layout that's all on one floor and central air conditioning to keep you comfortable all summer. The living room is just ahead, offering a plush sitting area with a wall-mounted flatscreen TV, immense windows that frame the back deck and the golf course, and a bistro table where you can play cards or catch up on a bit of work from home. A two-sided fireplace separates the living room from the formal dining room, where sliding glass doors and a mirrored wall bring the beauty of the outdoors in. The adjacent kitchen has every essential appliance (from a French door refrigerator to a dishwasher), a pass-through window to the dining room, and a laundry closet with a washer/dryer. But the heart of this home awaits out back, where you'll find the expansive deck overlooking the golf course, a gas grill, seating for both dining and lounging, and a hammock amongst the trees. At night, there are three bedrooms in separate corners of the house, each with new carpeting, an en suite bathroom, and a flatscreen TV. The master suite enjoys direct access to the back deck as well. What's nearby: This home is located on the 18th hole of the Atlantic Dunes Golf Course by Davis Love III, one of three golf courses (along with Harbour Town and Heron Point) at Sea Pines Resort. Also within Sea Pines, you'll have access to the free beach shuttle, tennis facilities, bike rentals, and a lovely network of bike paths. The Sea Pines Beach Club is a quarter-mile down the road, while Harbour Town's lighthouse, shops, and eateries are less than two miles northwest. Things to know: High-speed WiFi Full kitchen Two dogs are welcome for a nightly fee This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hilton Head Island LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. This is a beautiful house with a great location. It’s very close to the golfing and the beach. The house has lots of beds and bedrooms. Using it to capacity would be a bit crowded though.

Loved the location, generous size of the home and deck, beach chairs and games are just a few of the many highlights of this home. It was very special to us to be able to bring our labs with us. Will definitely look to stay here again!

The size of the house was perfect and the pool was our kids favorite thing. The house itself needs some updating, especially back doors and deck. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, etc. Dining room chairs definitely need replaced. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

This is a great house with a fabulous deck overlooking the 18th hole of the Plantation Golf Course. We love staying here, but the home could use a fresh coat of paint and other maintenance. The open floor plan makes it very comfortable. It is just in need of some cosmetic updates. We enjoyed our visit!

Killer location, very tired house
I can fully understand why this house works for a short beach vacation. The location is great. Walk to the beach and the beach club and on the golf course, which offers a wonderful, green view. But for a long-term Winter rental of a month or more, not so much. The house is suffering from a lack of love and maintenance. When we arrived, neither the windows or the slider in the master bedroom could be opened. Vacasa sent a really nice maintenance guy who managed to get one of the two casements to open (they'd all been painted shut) and did manage to get the slider to open but advised that we not open in again as he was afraid it would fall apart.
All appliances have been upgraded, which is nice, but the kitchen is poorly stocked - no sharp knife (literally), no strainer, no baking sheets, no food storage containers. But tons of glasses (not many wine glasses), plates and serving platters. Decent selection of pots and pans.
Structurally, it is evident that they have had a serious issue with a leaky roof, which seems to have been fixed, but the ceilings were either badly patched or just left. The ceiling in the master toilet/shower room looks like it won't last much longer. The deck has many soft spots and the boards are uneven where many have sunk. BUT, it's sunny in the morning and large and has that golf course view.
The pool was covered while we were there even though the filter was running, so I can't comment on that.
I'm giving it 3 stars because of the condition of the house itself, which is kind of sad, but as I said, if you're looking for a place to fill with lots of people, spend the day at the beach, not cook much and be on the golf course, this would absolutely work.

Enjoyed our Thanksgiving week with the family @ Carolina Oaks! Always love visiting Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island, SC. The home had adequate space for eight and was well stocked with most items needed. Overlooking #18 fairway of the Atlantic Dunes golf course, being within walking distance to the Beach Club, and bike riding to South Beach & Harbour Town was fantastic. Seeing Gregg Russell performing for the children /adults in Harbour Town was “icing on the cake” for a terrific week!

This HHI Sea Pines home has a great layout inside the house, so that all 3 bedrooms have privacy. The deck overlooking the 18th green is spacious with plenty of comfortable and updated furniture for sitting and dining. House was very comfortable and provided us with everything we needed. The pool is very small but was fine since there were only 3 of us. The only thing that would have been helpful would have been some guidance regarding public beach access. Once we figured it out, it was a short bike ride to the beach. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back!

My family enjoyed staying at Carolina Oaks. We had 9 adults and one toddler and one dog. It was enough space to accommodate everyone and we never felt too crowded. Everything we needed was available. We enjoyed the back deck overlooking the golf course and of course the pool. Would do it again.

Carolina Oaks is a wonderful home in a great location. The extra amenities were such a nice touch! Very clean and comfy! A quick walk to the beach framed our time here! We will definitely be back
