Excellent Holiday at Port Macquarie

Location was good, spacious rooms and large balcony. Beds and lounge were comfortable. Good view from the balcony. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. This is a fantastic place to stay when you are holidaying in Port Macquarie. I would have rated this higher if we had good service from reception staff.

Reception staff on check out was terrible. When checking out we were advised that we had to return two keys even though when we checked in we received 1 key in the envelope provided at the secure locker. As we were driving to our next destination we received a phone call again requesting the second set of keys or we will be charged . I again had to explain the same info as previously provided that we received on 1 key and not 2. Reception staff then mentioned she personally gave me two set of keys even though I had not met her at check in as we had the key in a secure locker. I had to explain this again while I was driving which was very upsetting. We received a phone call 30 minutes later apologising that only 1 Key was provided and the second set was found in the draw at reception. This was totally unacceptable. Staff should check first before contacting the guest demanding a set of keys that we did not have. This was the only negative with reception customer service.

Easy access, friendly and efficient staff, value for money, excellent location & view from our room

Location and view were excellent.

Shared zones were not as clean as expected, i.e. games room restrooms were filthy.

Good place for a short stay on way back down the coast.

Great proximity to boardwalk and shops.

1000s of noisy lorikeets in nearby trees. Difficult to sleep due to noise.

Perfect stay. Great for a family.

Great location. Kitchen well equipped. Great dining and seating area for 6. Excellent staff. Promptly exchanged lightbulbs that were not working at arrival. Great dual parking spots allocated. Trolleys available.

Pool was a bit smelly.

the apartment was large and comfortable. the location was excellent near restaurants, shops, and beach.

the apartment was very hot day and night. there was an air conditioner in the living room, but the cool air did not reach the bedroom well enough. we were in a courtyard apartment with direct access to the pool and bbq area, and so we had to keep our doors locked overnight and hence ventilation was restricted.

Overall we had a great stay, and would definitely stay there again

the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. It was located close to the water, shops and restaurants. The building is secure, and access was easy. Our own car spot was a bonus. There was an activity room, and the pool was warm and refreshing considering the time of year we visited.

We stayed on the ground floor, overlooking the pool which was great, but as we didn't have security screen doors we couldn't leave the doors open to take advantage of the sea breeze. Higher floors wouldn't have this problem, and we did notice security screens on other apartments. The 2 beds in the second bedroom made it a bit squishy, but it beats double bunks, and we managed OK.

Great location, easy & spacious apartment

Great central location, spacious apartment which had all we needed, including tea, milk etc. check in through key pick up was easy as was check out. Good easy car park.

The air conditioning in one bedroom was very noisy so we had to turn it off & use fan + keeping doors open for the main room’s air con.

Passable

one of the elevators was broken which made for long waits and very cramped conditions in the lift. room has been cleaned properly for a long time. I realize the recent storms have had an impact, but cleaning should be a priority.

Relaxing

Units are well presented, location is close to all kinds of dining and activities

unfortunately could not change booking dates through Northpoint by one day . So had to get other accommodation for one night and stay a day longer than necessary.. But luckily we had time to enjoy.
