Adorable home. Close to everything! Well stocked Kitchen, Beautiful living spaces, and great front porch. Even though our stay was short this home was cozy and great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here, pricing and accommodations were right what we were looking for and we didn't have to drive anywhere in black mountain as it's just a short walk to anywhere downtown. Clean, Comfortable and close to everything. We will be staying here again next year!

Excellent location. Well appointed kitchen. So many wonderful extras in the home to assist the guests. Comfortable beds. Easy walk to the shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

3 golfing gals stayed here and enjoyed Crooked Creek Golf course and Marion Lake Country Club. We loved the house and the colors of fall were spectacular.

Clean, well stocked. Convenient to downtown. Neighborhood is a bit in transition. Only issue was the TV. I couldn’t watch the football games - no cable or broadcast tv; streaming only.

Enjoyed our stay. Walked easily to all down town areas. Neighborhood is old and not all homes well kept, however it looks like there are efforts to update many. neighbors we met were nice and helpful. Comfortable beds.

Cute place for a quick getaway. Driveway is a bit tight, but always brightened by the bunny that was there every morning and afternoon to greet us. A walkway from the driveway to front walkway would be helpful to not get feet wet wearing sandals on mornings when leaving. Appliances, dishes, toiletries, towels, etc were nice quality and quantity. The lack of upkeep of the neighbors is a negative, but they were quiet. The view of the mountain from the front porch was beautiful.

My daughter was getting married and I rented the place for my sisters. It was a perfect location close to town and to the Hampton in where other family was staying. Perfect size , nicely decorated and comfortable. Only issue is that the front steps are tricky and a bit dangerous for older adults.

This house is really cute and super clean. It had everything you could possibly want. We walked to dinner and town. Easy on/off to the highway. Neighborhood a little run down; felt safe. Needed to contact the property manager a couple times (nothing urgent) and replied immediately. We will be back; come to Black Mountain often

Such a cute and cozy place near downtown Black Mountain. Very nicely decorated with lots of amenities. Master bed super comfortable. Quiet neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

La Petit Masion is a lovely space - small but well appointed and the available space is laid out well so it feels larger. A quick walk of a few blocks takes you right into the Black mountain retail center (great shops and restaurants there), and you're a short drive from Asheville and all it offers.

You could use stair rails going up to front porch. The heater in the master bath has a motor problem that sound like it was going to fall out of the ceiling, both bathrooms were cold. 24 degs a couple of nights and the heat never cut off and stayed cold in the living room.

The location is really perfect and the house is super cute. We had a couple of questions and received quick responses while we were there. I have just noticed we did not receive our security deposit back and I cannot imagine what damage we would have done to the property but as long as that gets resolved, would highly recommend this as a place to stay!

The pictures accurately capture this property - tastefully decorated, clean and the perfect accommodations for our short trip. The house is a safe and easy walk to town, restaurants and shops. There was no need to grab the car unless going for a hike. Highly recommend this property for a little getaway to Black Mountain!

This was a very cozy place to stay in Black Mountain. Neighborhood was fine - and the location great. It was obvious that the owners had taken exceptional care in decorating and fitting out of this cute little house. Perfect for the two of us.

The cottage was very clean and beds comfortable. But the driveway was narrow and difficult to pull in and out. We were disappointed to find the second bath was off the kitchen and inconvenient for whoever slept in the front bedroom. Plus the bathroom was very small. The agency who manages the property were absolutely wonderful. Our deepest thanks to Jessica and Emma!!!

To each their own. The neighbors surrounding this place aren’t going to win any Better Homes & Garden awards, but if you can get by that you’ll enjoy the care, comfort, cleanliness, and detail of this property. Fantastic remodel of a 100 year old bungalow. Easy walk to town and convenient drive to Asheville and hiking. Wonderful front porch and backyard. If you have kids they will enjoy a visit from the neighbor’s chickens.

Very clean up to date. Looked brand new inside. Could be a little more handicap accessible as far as getting up the stone steps out in front. Need something to hold onto upon entering.. Otherwise a lovely place

Although the owners have done an amazing job in rehabing this home, included many fine luxuries and niceties, and have an excellent location to walking to downtown shops and restaurants, I cannot give this home anything above a 3 star rating because of the neighboring homes. The houses to the immediate left, right and across the street sadly show great signs of neglect, yard and porch junk, and disrepair. I hope the people living in them or not as neglected. I can share photos if anyone would like to see. Email me at [email protected]. Neighbors have chickens and roosters and several times one wandered into our backyard (hole in the fence) or side yard. We loved the front porch in spite of the sad views and spent zero time in the backyard because of the view of dilapidated structures, abandoned vehicles, and noise. Chickens and roosters are noisey. Bring a sound machine. I see that many previous tenants spoke of how well the kitchen was equipped, but I found it was big on gadgets and short on basics. I couldn't find a cutting board bigger than 5x8, a normal size cheese grater, and all the cutting knives in the cutlery knife block were extremely dull. This house has great potential and if some day the neighbors make substantial improvements to their homes, it will do well. I find it sad to gaze out at the mountains and be distracted by homes left to fall apart, backyards used as a junk yard, and beautiful porches cluttered with throwaways.
