Situated in Black Mountain, this charming cottage for $257 per night is a great option for your next break. Come enjoy quaint Black Mountain and all it has to offer! Delicious restaurants, local artisans, spectacular hiking, and only 18 minutes from Asheville! The craftsman bungalow is brand new and built by a local builder- he put his heart and soul into this house. There are so many fine touches-locally crafted walnut front door, custom walnut countertops, stained glass window, the list goes on and on. The space This 1200 sq ft custom high-end home is 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom. Each bedroom has a king bed with luxurious linens and towels, a 43 inch HD Roku TV, and an attached full bathroom. The living room has a pullout couch with queen mattress and a 65 inch HD Roku TV. (Please note we do not have cable, but you can log on to your streaming channels such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, etc). And if you love to cook (we sure do!), we have a well stocked kitchen with all of the cooking items you might need! We have a crockpot, blender, food processor, toaster, Cuisinart drip coffee maker, electric tea kettle, pottery barn dishes and glasses. Kick back and enjoy our relaxing covered front porch. It has 2 rocking chairs and a seating area with a sofa and 2 comfy chairs. Perfect place to enjoy that glass of wine or a morning cup of coffee! The backyard is fully fenced in with a privacy fence- perfect for kids and pups! Enjoy outdoor dining on the back flagstone patio with a gas grill and an outdoor dining table, seating 6. Or enjoy s'mores under the stars with a 30 inch fire pit with surrounding 4 adirondack chairs. All decor is high end and the house is meticulously decorated with quality furnishings. Please note that the Vermont casting stove indoors is not for use for guests. The house is 1.1 miles from downtown Black Mountain and an 18 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Close to hiking and waterfalls, the Blitmore Mansion, the Blue Ridge Parkway and so much more in the North Carolina mountains! Guest access You will get sent a personalized code for our wifi lock before check in. We have two separate parking pads- one at front that has space for 2 cars and one in back for 1 car, next to the back yard. Please note we have a shared drive, so please only park in the parking pads and do not block the driveway. We do have ring cameras facing the front and back porches- just to keep an eye on the property while we are away! We highly encourage our guests to purchase travel insurance as a hedge against unseen circumstances that may affect travel plans. If you choose to cancel your reservation, the cancellation policy per the rental agreement will apply. No refunds for inclement weather. Other things to note 1. Quiet hours after 9pm. We have the LOVELIEST neighbors, some with children and work from home, so please be respectful and keep outdoor noise to conversational level after 9pm. If you are in to late night partying, this is not the place for you! 2. On a case-by-case basis, we might consider renting to guests with well-behaved, non shedding dogs for a pet fee. Please reach out to use PRIOR to booking to make sure our place is a good fit for your fur baby! Pet Rules -Pet fee is $75 for 1 dog -Please keep pet off all furniture and do not allow them to sleep in or on the beds. -If you leave them unattended, crating is required in the house. Pets cannot be left alone in the house after 9pm (so no incessant barking for the neighbors). Please do not leave pets in the backyard unattended. Luckily Black Mountain is very pet friendly and you can eat outdoors most places with a pet and most shops are pet friendly too! -Please pick up after your pet in the yard.

WOW what a great place. Everything was wonderful. The kitchen has everything you need and then some. Lots of details that showed the hosts really know how to make this VRBO a home away from home. Communication was great, we couldn’t have asked for more. And the hot tub was great for relaxing after mountain hiking. When we are in the area again, this will be the place, period.

This home was amazing!!! Everything was clean and SO cute! I even got lots of ideas for remodeling my home. Tara was quick to respond with any questions I had and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. I will certainly come back!

The home is lovely. Great location and convenient to everything. The home is immaculate and decorated beautifully. We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit but you definitely want to do that. The hot tub was our salvation after a long day of touring. This is a hot property not to be missed!!!!

Quiet neighborhood, convenient to interstate, hwy 70 and downtown. Lovely home, open floor plan, big windows, awesome front porch, high end furnishings, 2 master suites, very comfortable beds. We all thoroughly enjoyed it!

Black Mountain is awesome and everything about this property is better than awesome. Access to town is minutes away. Pictures of property are spot on its that clean and that nice. Tara is an awesome host and very responsive. We are planning to be in the Black Mountain area often over the next 12 - 18 months, we know where we will be staying. 😊

Tara was very responsive to our needs. The house, dishes, and appliances are all brand-new. Loved the decor. Highly recommend this rental, very convenient to Asheville but also the town of Black Mountain is a cute town with lots of things to do. We really enjoyed the fire pit too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The entire house is thoughtfully designed with lots of attention to details. The kitchen was well equiped, the bedrooms spacious and relaxing, the bathrooms very nice and the whole place was spotless. No musty carpet, saggy sofas or the usual ‘rustic’ cabin tackiness. Outside you can enjoy the private backyard or sit on the front porch and enjoy the afternoon sun. There was some traffic noise, but it quiets down at night.
