It was a very welcoming experience. The grandchildren loved the ping pong table in the garage. I loved the sun room. What a view. We also liked having various spaces to sit and read, visit or the garage to play games and music.

The property was very nice. We played boardgames majority of our time. Didn’t utilize the lake.

We really did enjoy ourselves the garage was not warm enough however with just the 2 small heaters. Some of the family did not make it due to illness so felt very spacious. We would stay here for summer if that was an option for us in the future Thank you for opening up your home

This was such an amazing and serene space for our healing girls weekend! We did yoga in the lawn, sat by the lake, and had fun conversation in the great room/garage! It was just what we needed, and everything was perfection. Plus, Rachel was super responsive, helpful, and easy to connect with. We will be coming back in a few months! I think we found our new girls vaca spot!

Our group really enjoyed our stay! Rachel's home is beautiful, peaceful and had everything we needed. I highly recommend if you are looking for a getaway not too far from the cities!

We recently stayed at this property for 3 nights with a family of 10 with small children and 1 dog. The property had plenty of space for all of us and all the essential supplies! The enclosed porch, large outdoor space, and the Blackstone were our favorite! They recently put in new flooring which was a bonus. The weather was around 70 degrees and still got rather warm in the upstairs bedrooms, but there were plenty of fans in the property. We did need to bring everything for the small children (highchair/pack n play/baby gates etc.) Overall a nice stay!

The property is very beautiful.
Fun to watch the various birds at all the feeders.
Very clean and user friendly.

This is a beautiful property close to town, secluded and is very quiet. To me the house seemed smaller than the pictures, but there was a lot of space to spread out. The garage room was a favorite with the teenagers. We were there at a very hot time so the first day the air conditioner had a hard time cooling the house down to where we were comfortable. We also had to keep a close eye on the temperature settings as they kept automatically changing. Because of the heat we were only able to use the glassed in sunroom one day. That was my favorite place in the whole house. The view is incredible both day and night. The bedrooms are small except the master.
The kitchen had a large pantry to put your groceries in, and quite a bit of counter space. The appliances worked well. It was very nice to have the second refrigerator in the garage room. The kitchen was well stocked, but a little light on cereal bowls and plates. There were many spices available, but we brought our own favorites.
This home is decorated so it feels very homey, and we all enjoyed it. The lake was quite muddy due to levels being low, but the kids had a lot of fun catching fish off the dock. We brought a boat and everyone had a great time fishing and tubing on this very quiet lake. There was almost no boat traffic.
Our hosts were incredible! Any questions were answered quickly, and you could tell they wanted you to have a great experience in their lovely home. Very well done! Recommend!

We loved this home. It was absolutely beautiful
It was well supplied with kitchen condiments, bathroom supplies and a very nice laundry room
There were many games for our grandchildren and us older ones put together a 1000 piece puzzle. Beautiful yard and flowers, and security. The only downside was that the water level is so low we couldn't get our fishing boat in and alot of seaweed, so no fishing this time .
I would highly recommend this place for a family gathering, there is so much room.
Kids enjoyed the game room with playing darts and ping pong 😊

We had a great time. The house was awesome, beautiful and clean. Perfect size for our group of 8 people. Loved that they had water toys to play with. Shore area wasnt usable for us due to the mud/weeds. But we had a boat and were able to enjoy the lake. We didnt catch any fish though. Host was very responsive with questions/concerns. Very nice place!!

We had a great time - the house had everything that we needed plus a whole lot more. Plenty of space, nice flat yard that was gradual to the lake, great lake for water sports and the bonus room in the garage was a huge plus!

Lakehouse was a great property for a winter weekend getaway with friends. Some snow shoed on the lake, others just relaxed inside. Note to self: read description carefully. I didn't realize there was no bathroom on upper floor. Nicely furnished, owner's were very prompt in replying to messages!

The house is very cozy and nice. Our group had a great stay even in the wintertime.

The location was not far from the twin cities but far enough to offer seclusion. The place had enough separation for the kids to enjoy some “no tablet” time in the garage family room. It’s not super huge but since it had many different spaces it felt bigger. Would definitely rent again for another getaway. Rachel was also awesome at responding and providing quick answers.

Excellent place to stay for a large group of people. The house was very clean and decorated for Christmas. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with regarding any questions we had. We had a wonderful time.

Everything was as listed and lots of nice extras- well appointed kitchen, abundant games. We had a nice long cozy weekend here.

We had our family of 14 stay for the Thanksgiving holiday. The property was perfect for us. The converted garage warmed up nicely with the use of heaters and the ping pong table for all of us to play games. The 3 season porch allowed is more space to spread out and was beautiful watching the sun rise. Nicely appointed with everything we needed, an actual bed for everyone, without the 15-22 year olds having to share. Communication was top notch! Highly recommend!

Spent a long weekend with friends and found this to be a perfect property. The kitchen is neatly organized, the beds comfortable, communication with the owner was very fast. There weren't other houses right on top of this one, no close neighbors. It was great. And the scenery was beautiful on a cool fall weekend.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The lake and property were absolutely amazing - private and spacious! The house had plenty of sleeping accommodations and was very organized. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we’ve experienced! The garage space was amazing for entertaining a large group. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed everything about the outdoors especially the large flat yard, creek, fire pit, apple tree, lake, etc. The space inside the home was perfectly laid out. Kitchen a bit small, but manageable. We had an issue with a strong odor in the laundry room during our stay and the owners were very attentive to the issue.

great property
This is a very nice property for family and friends. 5 separate bedrooms. A nice open area upstairs for setting relaxing, playing some games or watching TV. Big level lot with lots of lawn chairs to relax in. Garage is set nice with the TV etc. This place is better than they advertise. Thank you for lets us rent this.

Family Vacation
Quiet lake setting was so relaxing for our second annual family vacation. Everything we needed was provided. Two refrigerators was a great idea. Loved the additional gathering space in repurposed garage. Took advantage of the Blackstone Griddle! Thank you for a great stay!

Great weekend away
This was a cozy place to stay. Host was great! I was a little worried about the loft being open to the main living area, but with the sun porch and the garage/rec room space we could have multiple groups doing their own socializing without getting in each other's way. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at this property. The property has something for everyone and has many many areas for gathering and sleeping.
The grounds were in great condition even after a recent storm. The dock, fire pit, hammock, garage party room and everything else was in great condition and easily managed.
Clear directions were provided on how to work all items so it was easy to take advantage of all the amenities this property has.
We were so fortunate to have great weather but even if we didn't there would have been rooms and games to satisfy a large group.
Rachel was very accommodating and responsive to our needs but we didn't have many because they really have this set up well.
All you need to bring is food and drinks--Everything else is provided.

Absolutely PERFECT!
What a beautiful home and amazing owner! The picture does not do this property justice. It is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places my family and I have ever stayed at. The house is completely stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The stream going through the yard is stunning and peaceful to read a book by or just relax. The dock is very stable and was nice to leave our boat at. It is an all sand bottom which made it nice for the kids to go swimming. Having a extra hangout spot in the garage was great for the kids during the day and everyone to watch a movie at night. I would stay here again in a heart beat!
