Love it

This was the perfect apartment for our family of five (2 sons aged 10 & 12 and daughter aged 16). It is clean and well furnished with 3 bedrooms. The location is great right outside La Motte-Picquet–Grenelle metro station. There are a plenty of shops nearby including an excellent boulangerie opposite, and a wide selection of restaurants nearby. Overall great value and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the apartment for other families.

Our family of 5 enjoyed staying at this apartment for our few days in Paris. Check in was easy and Jacques was very communicative. As larger Americans we found the bathroom to be small but had no problems using it. This apartment is up several flights of spiral stairs with no elevator. The location is wonderful with a metro stop across the street, restaurants on the corners, a supermarket two blocks down, and a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.

Property was in an ideal location. It was a perfect size for 4 adults. We have been spending the last few weeks in various property’s throughout France( World Cup Rugby) and we all agree that this one in Paris is def our top choice. Clean accessible, comfy, The four flights were not a prob as we expected a climb. Beds were comfy. Kitchen small, however ample for our needs for our two night stay. We loved it and will def be our go to choice when we return to Paris.

15” walk to Eiffel Tower. Small but we’ll supplied kitchen. Across the street from a handy metro station. Day metro pass is only 8.45 Euros and works for metro trains, busses and Paris trains. Get a Nero map at a TI. Super Grocery stir one block down by the MacDonalds. Double pane windows keeps out the street noise. Only down side is you must walk about 10 flights of narrow stairs to the 4th floor, and the beds did not have top sheets.

Place was awesome, close distance to lots of places. Good grocery shops close by, restaurants and cafes all round and good 15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. Just for people’s awareness you can only get to the bunk bed room via main room but was fine for us as we had little kids. Definitely recommend more pillows and more fans for summertime.

The apartment is wonderful, further the host is always available to help. Further, the location of the apartment can not be better.

Jaques’s instructions were clear and easy to follow and the apartment was perfect for my family. Jaques was also very accommodating when our vacation hit a snag. Would totally stay here again.

Thank you, Jacques for clear feedback and timely responses. The apartment is perfectly located for a Paris city break, it was as described and secure. Situated directly opposite Metro station with 3 lines, 20min walk to Eiffel and 5 mins further for Bateaux Mouche. We found the local area safe and well populated with bars/restaurants, supermarkets and boulangerie’s. Not to mention an underground car park within 100m. We breakfasted in the apartment and then viewed the city all day, only returning to the area for evening meal (with drinks). I would stay there again and would recommend to others… Kind regards, Adrian & family…

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was larger than I expected. Plenty of room for 3 teens and 2 adults. The location is perfect. The subway stop is across the street, and a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, and restaurants. The stairs were a challenge with the heavy luggage so be prepared for that but otherwise a wonderful place to stay.

I would definitely stay here again! Lots of bedroom space for the four of us and suitcases which is rare in hotels here. Public transport with 3 lines right outside was great but we were also close enough to walk to Eiffel Tower and a few other sights (or more if you are up to the walk). No concerns about the area. Restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores very close. Small kitchen so I would not plan any extravagant meals but well equipped for our simple meals. Note the 70 stairs to get up to the unit and no air conditioning, neither of which were a concern for us.

Property manager was responsive and kind. Property was clean and can host up to 6. It is located very close to the Eiffel Tower and right across the subway, but other than that location is not great, there are a lot of homeless staying across the street outside the subway. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable and floor planks squeak with every step (very uncomfortable at night). I’m sorry but I wouldn’t recommend this property if you want to rest or be near nice areas

We had a great stay here, close to the metro to get around the city and to the airport. Comfortable and we had everything we needed for a 2 night stay.

For Paris, the apartment is spacious, was very well maintained and is well connected to the local Metro and Bus systems.

The apartment was well stocked with everything you need. We were very thankful for the fans that each bedroom. The only thing we would have liked were thicker bed pillows. It is a charming apartment. We would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay- so convenient to everything and although it was small (by American standards) it worked well for our family of four (two adult children). We even cooked dinner one night and had everything we needed. Thanks so much! Karin

We loved Jacque’s apartment!! It was perfect for our family of 5 with kids ages 11, 9 and 6. Checkin was easy and Jacques was very responsive. Starter coffee & tea was provided, there’s a grocery right around the corner to buy more nespresso pods. Kitchen has two burners and the equivalent of a large toaster oven which could easily fit a frozen 12” pizza for the kids. Location was fantastic being a 10 min walk from the tower and right across the street from the metro and the building felt safe. The apartment blue prints were on the wall and it dates back 120+ years. The wood floors and trim had the old world charm! Only recommendation would be to maybe add an extra blanket to use in the living room and more substantial bed pillows. We slept really well! The beds were comfy for European standards but probably firm by American standards. A couple notes as an American - the fourth floor walk up would be the equivalent of a 5th floor walk up in the US in case the stairs difference sways you in one direction or another. The stairs didn’t bother us one bit but we are an active family. When the listing says coin operated laundry (English translation), it is not on site. There is a laundromat at the end of the block. There is a heated drying rack in the shower room so if you need to wash something out in the sink, you’ll be able to dry it within a day. There are also two fans and a beautiful cross breeze with the windows open! Avoid pricey hotels and stay here!!

We very much enjoyed this tastefully decorated and renovated apartment with restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and metro so close by. Neighborhood was safe and just a few blocks away from the Eiffel Tower. We would return and give it 5 stars if it weren't for the very firm mattresses, that were so very firm we could not sleep well. Everyone has different mattress preferences and this will work for some, but if you prefer a medium to soft mattress this is not the place for you.

My 2 friends and I can highly recommend this apartment. The location here is fantastic--lots of things nearby, easy to get a cab or train when needed. There is a Starbucks practically across the street, so we made the most of that as the French coffee was stronger than we like. Plenty of restaurants and boulangeries nearby! The apartment was spotless, and had plenty of space for us to each have our own bed. Nicely decorated, newly updated kitchen, plenty of towels, etc. Our host was very gracious and offered clear instructions and recommendations, which we really appreciated for our very first visit to Paris.

This was absolutely one of the best places that we have stayed at. The location was near the metro and very close to the eiffel tower. The rooms were very quiet for amazing sleep and relaxation.

Excellent location across from metro, with easy access to all of Paris. It is indeed a 4th floor walk up and from time to time you can hear the neighbors. Host was easy to contact and responsive. Apartment has historic charm and modern amenities. Highly recommend!

The apartment was easy to find and well located for metro, some lovely restaurants and Cafes and walking to Tour Eiffel Warm and cosy, we felt comfortable when relaxing. The shower was warm, strong and maintained a constant temperature. Our hosts were very responsive to our needs and acted promptly to resolve an issue. The apartment was tastefully decorated. Thanks for having us. We would love to stay again.

We had a great time in Paris. Jacque and Geraldine provided a great place to stay while we took in the sites! The Flat was clean and easily accessible. We walked to to the Eiffel Tower and the surrounding areas with ease. Would highly recommend!

If you are looking for a good location then this place will do the trick. The apartment is extremely old with small updates to the kitchen and the bathroom. The floor is lose and creaky and the door handles are one good pull from falling off. The beds are very thin and firm and the pillows aren’t any better. If you don’t spend much time in the apartment then it is decent for the price and location. Don’t stay here for any lavish amenities.

We were so happy to find this apartment so close to a metro station, restaurants, and the sites of Paris! Jacques was a great host, quickly responding when we had questions and being very accommodating! There was ample room for our group of 6, and the children loved the bunk room. I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen as well! It is a good hike up to the 4th floor, but worth it for the proximity! The metro is across the street and I highly recommend Cafe Primerose for some nearby French food.

Everything was really good. Very clean and just as described. Very comfortable for 4 women. The only downfall, is that you have no control over the heat. When I called-the owner was VERY quick to respond. I would highly recommend.

Great location, very clean, well-stocked apartment. Exactly as pictured. Was perfect for our time in Paris!!!
