The room was very decent. Bed was comfortable. BIG gaps around the door. Had to use a towel to fill in the gap at the top of the door and a larger one to fill in the gap at the bottom of the door. Room advertised ocean view and that is true, but only through a window of maybe 4' x 4'. HOWEVER, well worth the money I spent.

The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The check in process as stated in other reviews sucks. We arrived a little after 4 and i had to knock on the staff rooms door to get someone to check me in. Then instead of checking me in he took a phone reservation. Which normally won't bother me but the front office restroom was out of order and i was in need of one after traveling.

I was 3rd in line after a family and a couple who were before me. The family seemed satisfied with booking their room in the lobby, the couple in front of me were giving the male receptionist a tough time though he handled it very well, I might even say better than how I would’ve handled it. Then it was my turn & signing in for my room was pretty smooth & quick! Definitely made a memorable stay and I think I’d look for this hotel name whenever I am planning on staying somewhere!

I was accommodated fairly quickly at the last minute. I was a vendor at the Corvette Car show and it was also spring break. All hotels were booked. I happen to see this hotel had 3 left and I was able to book. When I arrived after 9, the hotel attendant had my key ready. It was a quick check in. My room was nice and cozy. I was able to get much needed sleep.

We stayed here 4 nights in April 2023! We came in a day early and had a double queen room for 1 nights and switched to our reserved king room for the rest of our stay! I have 0 complaints and will stay here anytime we are in Galveston!

Hotel clerks were very pleasant. My initial thought when ealking in the room is wow , this is clean and up to date. But it does have a pet smell that has lingered in there. Im sure dogs have slept in those beds. I love dogs but not on the furniture

This place was better than I expected. It fit our need for a short getaway. The bathroom was clean but I’m OCD about bathrooms. Would stay again. But it didn’t fit what I would call “ ocean view”.

The hotel was clean. Our room was spacious and clean. Had a nice little seating area which was nice. However, our door wasn’t shut when we got there. I just tapped it with my foot and it opened. I called the front desk because it wouldn’t stay shut. You had to wiggle the Handel several times. Then when it did shut and you locked the main lock you could still pull and push the door back and forth. It was like someone kicked in the door before and nobody ever fixed it. Front desk said maintenance would come. He didn’t fix the door shutting but he did hammer the frame a little bit and it helped some. He did say he would be back with another tool to fix it and he never came back. The front desk also never checked back with us to make sure it was fixed. Didn’t offer a different room. So I’m rating the hotel great, staff, not so much.

The room that we have right now is dirty. The restroom wasn’t cleaned properly and old towels are on the floor.

Decent location, shower didnt work completely, grout was dirty and toilet needed a good cleaning. Temperature was good and bed was comfortable, no extra blanket in room, had usb charging in wall and nice niche in bathroom area. Just needs an updating. Dinner within walking distance.

I booked a wheelchair accessible hotel and description said hand rail next to toilet we get to check in to the room and found no rail next to toilet and not chair for the shower
