Very nice modern hotel, room was clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Gent behind the bar was fantastic with local knowledge and chat.

wrong room type / no air conditioner / no proper ventilation i.e. 6'' x 30'' opening-window air flow / bath not clean / single bed not clean / beat up furniture and furnishings / hallway security door did not lock (broken) Hall way carpets filthy dirty.
Bonnington is not a 4 star hotel. A 2 star at best.

The parking is poor, but the car park security people are very helpful. Avoid 1st floor rooms if possible, very noisy late night/midnight, sounds like people coming in for work. Hotel staff very helpful and switched rooms to 4th floor very quiet and rooms look fresher/recently decorated, nicer. Handy for the airport without airport prices. Allow extra time for traffic if driving. Great for using bus into city centre or airport.

Customer service was really poor and not friendly at all. The shower in the room wasn't working properly (showering with cold water).
Breakfast was poor just couple of choices.
The swimming pool was really bad compare to the picture when we made the reservation (totally another story).
For a 4 stars hotel really poor experience

Inside the property was great. The room was nice and up to date. I had dinner at the croft and the food was good. The pool was definitely older but in good condition. The outside is being worked on right bow but it was quiet at night. I will definitely stay here again.

Staff & food are great but security is shocking. Reception was robbed while we hid in silence in foyer hoping no one got hurt. Managements response after the incident shocking. So disappointed.

Radiator wouldn't turn off in room. Staff couldn't fix it. No seating or lounge area except in restaurant/bar which is very small. Noise from next room(s), hallway and outside persistent all night! Guys working at the bar where very nice though!

Fabulous relaxing stay. Lovely staff.Great choice of food in restaurant and pub. Comfy beds. Leisure club was good with welcoming staff and great facilities. Supermarket next door and Lidl down the road. Close to the centre about 15 min by taxi.

I was so disappointed because I am booked this place and paid a high dollar of $300 a night because of parking being included, and they never had enough room to park people. There’s no air conditioning control in your room no vent in the bathroom. The price was excessive for low amenities.

We booked the room at the last minute due to our flight being cancelled. What a lovely surprise the hotel was! We had a beautiful room . We decided to dine in the restaurant and we were so glad we did! The food was delicious. Would recommend this hotel.

This was a great stay for one night! While the floors and hallways of the hotel were not in prime condition, our room was large, clean, tidy, and had all the necessary amenities. The staff was also notably friendly and stored our luggage for free! Many thanks for the stay.

The Bonnington Hotel was really nice with the exception of the renovations going on. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Croft Bar has excellent food and drinks. McGettigans service and food were both superb. The pool was nice.

We booked a standard double room last minute for our last night in Ireland. We arrived later than expected after the train and had trouble with our key cards for the room(a minor inconvenience). The hotel manger, Ronda I believe, promptly got us new keys and upgraded our room since we weren't going to make to the pool facilities before closing. Minor inconvenience, HUGE upgrade. We had a gorgeous honeymoon suite with a jet tub, fireplace, beautiful views and two tvs. We cannot express our gratitude enough for how special they made our last night in Ireland.

Fabulous hotel, I would highly recommend. Check in was super, i arrived early and thrilled when they had a room available. The pool was fabulous, food very nice!!! Perfect location for Croke Park. Lovely big spacious room, Which was very clean.

Terribe pool facilities for a meant to be 4 star hotel...dont be deceived by the hotel picture..
No towels provided unless you walk back to reception..you need to wear a swim cap that you need to purchase for 3 euros..really? 4 star hotel? No area to relax, jacuzzi bearly doing any buble, broken sauna, no lockers in changing room..
Bedroom was fine but overviewing a wall and next to the kitchen fan exit so constant noise coming out..I would not recommend nor come back!

Old premises, limited park park, spa is old and child unfriendly (not allowed before 09:00 or after 19:00), noisy sometimes outside, the room is stuffy and no ventilation at all, shower is rubbish with no able to control the water temp.

Great Hotel very close to downtown Dublin with transportation options. Staff were fantastic. Hotel was spotlessly clean, had great dining options, pool/fitness center. Overall a wonderful experience.

Requested handicap room - did not receive. Tub was so high couldn’t even get in. Toilet do low for a child. Requested a large taxi and a small taxi arrives. No way to order food from your room. No air conditioning - I was told only in certain rooms. Terrible place. Looked like they took a cheap way of making a update on things!

Hotel described as 4*_ at best it’s a 2*..
Staff unfriendly at checking and unhelpful-we each had 3 bags..no assistance was offered. Airport shuttle not available as promised- Checking took a long time and almost made us feel that room wasn’t available-room was supposed to be a twin for 2-we got a cramped room for 3-Food service didn’t look very inviting-the only positive was the trip to town on a bus & back-Hotel needs refurbishing and become handicap accessible..
