The hotel is very cute. We just had a frustrating check in experience. We arrived at 7pm and the office was closed. They have a couple phone numbers listed but they all went to voicemail. I finally found a security guard who was walking the facility. He was able to check us in after 40 min of waiting.

Great hotel. We only stayed one night because the other place were were at was not available for a night. Will stay again. Front desk was polite and a quick check in. room was nice (comfy beds). Very close to beach

Our stay at the Mauian was very enjoyable. We thought the staff was very accommodating. The room had a nice view and loved the balcony. We enjoyed BBQing and watching the sunset. The only thing that we did not like was that there were some guests that liked to use the pool and BBQ area later into the evening and were very loud. This made it hard for us to enjoy our evenings on the balcony. Parking was tricky at times.

Amazing stay! 5/5 stars. Very clean, had spacious shower, and great beds. Beautiful pool and view of beach. Highly recommend. Check-in hours are a bit annoying, and the process to get to your room after hours could use some streamlining. Minor complaint. Don is a very friendly and helpful guy! Took good care of us.

Lovely family-run property with many repeat guests. It felt like we moved into a friendly community rather than stayed at a hotel. The location can't be beat - right on the beach at Napili Bay. Gorgeous landscaping with some old growth trees. Comfortable bed, and room had everything we needed - beach towels, full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, a kitchen with everything I could think of needing for our 4 day stay. One note: there are no TVs in the room. I, personally, loved that. But some people may be surprised by it.

Beautiful boutique hotel that’s beach front. Grounds were gorgeous and room was lovely. Location in amazing & chill. Only complaint is coffee maker didn’t work in our room but other than that everything was great. Would definitely return!

The location is the best part of our stay. The bed was very uncomfortable. If you have lower back pain/issues, these mattresses are SO soft - I could only handle 1 night & then moved to the love seat. The pillows were also stiff and odd. I'm sure younger people would feel like they were sleeping in a cloud? We ended up flipping the mattress upside down and sleeping on the box spring (with a foam cushion on top of it). They are getting new mattresses currently, but said that they are getting the exact same ones :-\ We stayed for 2 weeks, which is awful if you are uncomfortable. I would not stay here again due to the discomfort. The staff were friendly & again, the location is great if you like to snorkel in Napili Bay.

Quiet bungalow hotel right on the beach at Napili. The rooms are not big, but they are functional. Great vibe with other guests who behave like adults and were enjoyable to share the hotel facilities with.

We only stayed 1 night. We got in late at night and the security guy was waiting with our information and showed us our room. The room was clean and comfortable. A very nice, secluded property. Would stay again

The Mauian is a nice place. Beach area is nice but small. Would fill up with people quickly. Plenty of room to swim. Grounds are nice and clean. There are two gas ovens for grilling outside with lots of seating. Walking distance to a nice restaurants. Would recommend this as a place to stay.

Great Access to the Bay, would recommend a visit! Best to have a compact car if planning to park in the mauian parking lot, otherwise nearby street parking is available.

We stayed at the Mauian for our visit to Maui. The hotel was great and we were very happy with our stay. The grounds are kept up very well and are very pretty with the landscaping and such. The rooms were nice and clean. They did not have a TV but that was not a big issue. On the plus side, they had a small kitchenette area with fridge and microwave. The hotel was right next to the beach, which was amazing. We were able to walk from our room to the beach in a few seconds. The hotel also provided chairs to use, which was a nice feature. Overall, we would stay here again.

Nice room but they gave me the worst view one because I booked thru you ( third party) There was NO TV ! and being alone that was a bad thing so not a fan of their policy Have TV’s and if you don’t want it turn it off but to nit have the option was a bad decision

Beautiful property right on the beach! Rooms are spacious and provide excellent island vibes with lots of windows for a nice breeze and a very decent kitchen area. Tons of gorgeous plants all over the property as well.

Truly a really magical place. Right on the beach, great for swimming, snorkeling and hanging out with our little one. We decided to bring our 2 year old and he just loved everything about it. The place had a unique charm and incredible landscaping. The bed were super comfortable, the room was large and having beach towels, chairs and beach wraps was a nice touch. Would absolutely recommend this place.

We were there when disaster hit Lahaina. This place made us comfortable when all things were going wrong for West Maui —- no power, cell service, scarce food, cash and unable to connect to outside world, even to what’s going on in Lahaina. We felt safe at the Mauian. The staff were affected emotionally by the tragedy as they slowly get word from other locals, but they still showed up for work. That’s true dedication and care! Definitely a gem of a place, not to mention the perfect beach setting. Thank you Mauian staff. We owe you!

We were in east Maui before the roads closed down from the fire. I understand that the phone lines were also initially down; however, based on their website, they were able to reestablish communications shortly after. Despite this, the management did not respond to any messages regarding a refund for the night that we could not stay (both via phone and email). They have not done their part to help with the travelers of locals who have been affected by this natural disaster.

This property was amazing! It was very clean, quiet, and had everything you could need! There was a kitchen area that made it convenient to cook small things and a full size fridge to keep food and drinks. We would definitely stay here again. The beach access was nice and close. There is also a pool that not many people used so it felt like a private pool. The landscape is beautiful as well.

Very quiet and RIGHT on Napili Bay. We’re able to sleep with the windows open and hear the waves breaking on the beach all night. So relaxing! Parking was a little cramped. Staff, especially Curt, was so kind and helpful.
