We had such a wonderful stay, starting with the amazing welcome staff to the radio playing softly as we entered our room. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was one of the best meals I have eaten in a long time.

Perfect location for my needs and very cosy hotel.

Excellent property in a prime location for anyone wanting to explore Dublin’s city centre and beyond. Staff were attentive and kind - and we even had our bags taken to our room upon arrival by a very friendly member of staff.
The room was beautiful, with a window overlooking a private garden allowing guests to feel very relaxed indeed. The staff left us a note to thank us for choosing Staunton’s along with a selection of delicious Irish chocolates, which I thought was a wonderful touch!
Bed was super comfortable and the only (ever so slight) thing I could find to fault with the room was that it became quite warm in the middle of the night. I’m guessing the heating switched on but I was able to use the small fan provided to cool down the room but just an fyi to anyone to check what temp the radiators are on before you go to sleep (I did not do this)!
Huge thanks to the team at Staunton’s for a delightful stay, we’ll definitely be staying with you again during our next visit.

A sweet hotel near the Museum of literature and backing on green space, so very quiet. The decoration features period prints and the staff is genuine and helpful.

Very nice old school hotel, convenient to the city centre, room was to the front of the hotel, but not noisy. Comfortable room and lovely staff.

A lovely warm, welcoming hotel in a Georgian House. Opposite Stephens Green and a few minutes walk from Grafton Street, Dawson Street.
Great rooms, showers.
We frequently return, and will definitely do so again.

A wonderful venue for an overnight in Dublin - so different to many of the modern hotels. Beautifully presented, with a lovely air of old world elegance which was a joy. Breakfast was superb. Thoughtful touches in the bedroom and throughout the hotel to add to the comfort and enjoyment of the guests.

I checked in late and left early but the staff was very nice and helpful. My room was very clean and well appointed. If I am ever in Dublin again, I might stay there.

I liked that the property overlooks a park and also backs onto another park. The hotel was central to everything. Dining and shopping, very close by.
I feel that the owners of this hotel should consider removing the carpet at some point. It’s unhygienic. Secondly, I found it odd that the trees in the back were lit for most of the night. Too bright for sleeping and it also contributes to light pollution.

What a great hotel - it has been converted from three Georgian houses and has lots of character. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts offer lots of choice and are delicious. It is beautifully situated opposite St Stephen’s Green - a lovely park that you can walk through into the city. Although it doesn’t serve evening meals there are several restaurants they can recommend within walking distance.

Loved everything about this place. Walkable to attractions. Very clean. Only small thing, parking only couple minutes walk away, inside a parking garage to be paid also separate.
I would definently stay here again!!

we loved the place, the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff excelent and the whole design with the outdoor garden is magical!! and ofcourse being at the center of everything and the big beautiful park across the street is quite unique.
I didn't like the fact that we had to walk up 3 floors (we are over 70) and mainly that we did not know about that when we booked. Also the part of the airconditioning available only on the 3rd floor.

We loved our stay at Stauntons on the Green. Located between two beautiful parks, walking distance to nearly all attractions and around the corner from the bus stops. Staff was always helpful and friendly, no matter what time of day or night. Especially loved having coffee or tea in the garden patio each morning!

Excellent over night stay from check in to check out. Our room was lovely and spacious, very clean and comfortable. All the extra touches were lovely to have. Our bed was so comfortable that we could have stayed indefinitely.

Stauntons on the Green made my stay in Dublin easy and comfortable! They allowed me to store my bags at the start of my stay before my room was ready + after checking out before it was time to head to the airport. The staff was polite and helpful with any/all requests. The common areas on the main floor (for dining and lounging) were always well-kept and inviting. I loved being able to grab some water from the area! They also had a small table with information about the Museum of Irish Literature (right next door) with a discount code, which I used and loved! I really appreciated the discount and proximity to the museum.
The room itself was clean and comfortable. It was labeled as a “small” double bed room, but it was perfect for just one person! I’m sure two people would be fine, too. It was a bit warm; I’m not sure if there was a way to open the slanted windows, but a fan was provided and that helped!
Overall, I would highly recommend Stauntons on the Green and will definitely be staying here during any future trips to Dublin!

Great location across from St. Stephen's Green and very easy to get to the center city.
Right next to the MoIL and it's superb cafe.
Stautntons staff was very well trained and helpful to a fault. Breakfast was first-rate.
Our basement room was beautiful but a bit stuffy due to a tricky exhaust fan.

Enjoyed the serenity of the lovely garden. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet but close to the city center. The bed was notably comfortable, which makes a huge difference after a long day.

The sraff were courteous and very helpfiul. Breakfast was excellent and also the service there. The temperature of the shower in room 108 was very difficult to control. I wasted several.minutes and gallons of water before a reasonable temperature was reached. On each occasion I had to leave the shower running until my wife was ready.
The cold water tap contained very hot water when we arrived so the water supply appears to need need some attention.
This is a very convenient stop for the NCH and shopping.
I know this is an older establishment but we obviously had no such difficulty in the Grand Cental Hotel Belfast where we stayed the previous week.

Found this property when googling where to stay in Dublin. The reviews were all excellent so we thought we would give it a try. The reviews don’t give this place justice. Perfectly situated. The rooms are spotless and so comfortable. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. I won’t stay anywhere else now on my return trips to Dublin.
