No where to park when checking in, when parking in the garage and employee kept hounding us many times to move our car even though we planned on checking in and then moving car or paying for parking. The sheets had weird orange stains on them and hair and The hotel had a ton of crazy rules and overall just an unfriendly unwelcoming vibe. This morning I was attempting to get some sleep with an alarm set for before check out only to get not one but two calls from front desk over an hour before to remind me of check out, I can manage my own time I don’t need them doing it for me.

We had the absolute best time staying here. All the staff took great care of us. My service dog (Fenrir) took quite a liking to Beny, the owner. Fenrir loved having his own balcony to sleep on since he preferred the cold.
Would love to add photos but it's not working...
The location of the lodge couldn't be more perfect! It's right next to everything without being too close to the party bars. I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else again. Blackcomb Lodge is now our goto place for Whistler!

The location to Whistler Town Village was perfect and parking was great! Downside was the staff were incompetent, not welcoming, and unhelpful with the many issues we encountered during our stay.

The hotel staff were very knowledgeable and very helpful. We were automatically up graded to a very nice suite.
Parking was easy and convenient.
Everything was close and easy to get to.
What a great experience.

Property manager is very unprofessional and confrontational. Left a night early because I didn't feel welcomed. Will happily bring business elsewhere next time.

Comes with a full kitchen but there were no pans, napkins or paper towels. We did acquire a warped pan when asked for at desk but paper towels and or napkins must be purchased at a market. Personnel is spotty at the front desk even when the bell was rang.

Staff was impolite. Swearing in the lobby at guests.

The hitel is quite run down for what they are charging. Strands of hair on the sheet on pull out couch. Not sure if they even change the sheets between checkouts. Checkout time was at 10 a.m but the key cards were deactivated at 9:45 a.m which made it difficult to get back from carpark to the hotel to get our stuff so we had to take the long way through the street with heavy ski gear. Not very friendly staff either. The location was great though. I personally will not stay there again. With the price of 650 CAD per night there are definitely better options.

Excellent position with access to the whole village

The property is conveniently located in the center of the village parking is directly under the property and easy to access. Security to the building is of the most priority to the owners/managers. Only registered guest allowed to freely move in and out of the building helping to keep our stay more secure.

Overall it was convenient to be able to walk quickly to the base of the mountain and have direct access to the village shops and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious. Microwave was not working, and was replaced, but only after multiple requests were placed. At no point did it appear that anyone come into the room for general housekeeping unless we requested it. Parking was an additional charge per night, when it is already a fairly expensive place to stay. Totes itself as going green and minimzing waste, but only provides Keurig and K-cups for coffee (highly wasteful).

I will never stay in this property again. We arrived and the sole front desk person opted to take several phone calls instead in the middle of our check-in. The room was freezing cold when we arrived as the heat wasn't turned on. We turned the heater on and it got warmer but never reached room temperature. In the morning I was unable to take a shower because there wasn't any hot water. When we tried calling the front desk about our issues, they didn't answer. When we went to the front desk to talk to someone about our issues, there was no-one there. They were perfectly happy to take other people's calls instead of checking me in, but wouldn't answer my calls about legitimate issues with our room.
In addition to this, the washroom in the hot-tub area was disgusting and our bathroom was clearly not cleaned before we arrived given the hair that was in the tub from a previous guest.

Was only for a night but it was very comfortable. Guests need to use their card to get in which makes it very safe.

The location of this hotel is great. You’re steps away from all the good restaurants and shops in Whistler village.
Room is comfortable and clean.
This hotel has strict check in and out policy. They don’t give you much flexibility.

Would not recommend to anyone. Poor service and tons of hidden charges, room was dirty with stained towels and bedding and carpet! Recommend pan pacific, right near by, same price, but far nicer.

Very close to walkable grocery store and since our room had a fridge and stove, we saved money by cooking dinner and breakfast! It was a bit confusing at the front desk. Girl seemed very flustered because printer wasn’t working. I asked about laundry and they said it was open till 9:00. When I tried the key it didn’t open the door and I wasted time running back up and down to speak to the desk. I also had asked for change as I needed loonies and her reply was “manager wasn’t there at the moment but I could walk over to the grocery store and ask for change.” At that time I was already in a bathing suit and coverup and wasn’t going to go out like that. Regardless, I went for a swim/hot tub for about 20 mins and when I came back to the desk she had change for me. However, going back upstairs the key wouldn’t let me in. Our sleep was interrupted constantly by the music, bands and people laughing loudly in the night! We were told it was a quiet zone at 10-8 am, that certainly didn’t happen. Mind you it wasn’t the people in the hotel, but the parties in the street. Morning, quickly went to do laundry at 9, door was again locked, had to walk down, get front desk to door stop it open, and we ended up with wet laundry in suitcase when she rang our room and said 10 checkout! Owner asked us to give him a good review? This is the best I could come up with!

Ahead of my stay I called the hotel to ask for help, and the man that picked up the phone was extremely rude. As soon as I said I booked through expedia and needed help, he started talking over me, didn't listen to anything I said and kept raising his voice. He even said I was Expedia's customer, not his customer.

Very dirty soundings, dead plants out front & the manager/owner was very hostile, unprofessional & unwelcoming. He talked about other guests, was watching the security cameras constantly and I felt very bad for the lovely female staff.

Nice pool and sauna, kitchen, room size and balcony

Overly its okay, surprising that we couldnt book in early without giving an additional 50 dollars to the cleaning staff.
Late checkouts cost 30 per hour.
Check in was curt and generally unhelpful.
Considering the booking was 350 for one night you'd think they spend more time on the overal welcom experience.
Bed was fine room was smaller than it looks in photos.
Pool was nice, sauna never got hot.
Hot tub was good.
Overall I'd give it a 6/10

Was not pleased AT ALL. First thing I found in my room were strands of hair on the bed just under the blankets. I called the front desk, they sent a man who I assume is the manager. He took a look, grabbed the hair and just tossed them on the hallway saying “if you’re gonna look for hair, you’re gonna find hair. That’s business.” Since when was finding hair on a hotel bed “business”?
I was offered a different room which I accepted and found a lost earring on the floor of the new room and realized how much they don’t clean the rooms here.
Decent location within the Whistler village, but very obnoxious manager with poor room management/cleanliness. Wouldn’t recommend for the price you’ll be paying.
Please have a look at the replies from the hotel on the reviews here, you can easily see how aggressive management is.

Too noisy all night from outside and some from inside we wanted to switch the room but they did not because we booked through expedia.ca all I want to saying we had three hours of sleep the whole night.

Benny and Rita the managers were absolutely amazing. Welcoming right from the start and really make you feel safe. Got us everything we needed and could tell they really care about you enjoying your stay and having a good time. Easiest check in and check out process and the rooms were amazing. 10/10 recommend!

Great location, front desk staff great! Very hot/stuffy and dark in hallways and common areas, rooms are ok but overpriced for what you get in my opinion

I didn’t like how I spent 600$ for one night on a room with 4 beds and they tried to charge me 50$ extra for 3 people instead of 2. I didn’t like how it felt like a prison trying to get around the property, key card access for everything. The air conditioning didn’t work and the room a really hot, the front desk didn’t comment on it, just said “oh, that’s too bad”. There are so many fees for everything in the hotel, 30$ per hour for late check out, 30$ per vehicle to park, even when we had 2 motorcycles parked in one stall. The property was very dark and not welcoming. I will not be staying here ever again.
