Great location in Truckee. Nice well kept place. A bit high price for it but not too bad. Bed very comfortable but the pillows were not. Good continental bfast. Overall, very nice

I had an extremely disappointing stay at a hotel that was ridiculously overpriced at $350 per night, a price that seemed outrageous for what felt like a $100 value at best. The room itself was dark, small, and felt cramped, equipped only with full-sized beds. There were just two lights, one on the desk and the other on the nightstand, which was not enough. No closet, only a tiny slit in the TV stand to fit a few t-shirts. In the bathroom, there was a single large towel for showering, despite there being a fancy rack that could hold 4-6 towels, but it was empty, and just one roll of toilet paper. But what really compelled me to write this review was the terrible quality of sleep I got. The mattress was incredibly stiff, making it nearly impossible to sleep on my side. Most importantly, the noise from the highway was unbearable; the windows did absolutely nothing to block the sound of hundreds of semis driving at 70MPH all night long. I had stayed here last year and had a similar experience with no sleep, so it's a shame on me for forgetting about it and returning.

Everything worked, was clean, and just what I'd expect for a motel. No issues during my stay. Breakfast was pretty limited to sugary and high carb bagels and toaster waffles, and would have been nice to have a little more variety.

Location great! Friendly staff! The room is so-so. but cannot beat the price so near I-80 and Truckee. I just wish they had a hot-tub to relax after a day in the snow.

Very nice staff and nice accommodations all around. The pillows were uncomfortable, but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay. What the continental breakfast lacked in variety it made up for with a great coffee machine!

We came with our dog and had a great stay. We'll definitely be back. The property's breakfast is solid pre-skiing food and grab-and-go friendly too. The coffee machine also does hot water, hot cocoa etc. and is available (and free) all day long-- a huge plus, thank you!

There is no elevator, our bathroom has mold and years worth of dirt on the base boards. It looks like they just did a horrible attempt at an update but only a few things, the rest is still horribly in need of repair or replacement. The breakfast is just packaged muffin and a coffe machine.

Nice motel-style inn. A couple issues include no coffee in the room and a long line for a coffee maker in the lobby, an overly soft bed, and the hot tub/sauna are closed for maintenance- unsure if ever to re-open. Location is good though and rooms are clean.

Old, need urgent renovations. Location & Coffee machine was good. Dirty carpet everywhere. Breakfast is just frozen muffins, oats and juices. Rooms were small hardly any space to walk or any storage. In our room heater/ac unit is ancient probably 80s. 3 floors but no elevator so be ready to carry your luggage if you got 3rd floor room.

The inn was quaint. No issues with the room or parking. Staff was friendly. The facility is old, atmosphere is kind of dead. Overall, not bad for the price compared to much pricier resort stays.

The front desk check in lady was so sweet and kind. She is amazing at her job and able to keep track of who is next and keeping everyone (even people on the phone) informed. Great place to crash last minute and not break the bank! Beds are cozy, room is fully equipped.

front staff was friendly, efficient. We were there on NY day. There was obviously a party the night before because there was still confetti everywhere -- in the hallways, in the room, on the floors. This is an older hotel which obviously needs an update. The carpets were old and dirty and we could not walk around the room in bare feet. The room could benefit from a deep clean.

It's a bit run down and can use updating. Although advertised on Hotels.com as "housekeeping available on request", there was no housekeeping available, and we were told that we would need to ask for towels at the reception desk and take them up each day. Breakfast was prepackaged waffles, bagels, and oatmeal packets. No closet and very little storage for clothes in room.

It was good for the price. Beds/pillows were not super comfortable. Breakfast was frozen items that you could toast or heat up in the microwave, but it was convenient to have something to eat to start the day (free/included). The coffee machine in the lobby was nice and available 24 hours. The fire place was nice and the Inn was very warm and cozy. No frills, but a decent stay for a family snow trip. Rooms had fridge and microwave.

For the cost per room, this hotel was incredibly overpriced. And one of the rooms we got the TV remote didn’t even work and was stuck on one channel the whole time.

Have stayed here before, knowing its a solid but not knock your socks off kind of place. But, the pet fee has been ratcheted up to $50, which is steep considering the room prices. What's that fee for? It's not cleaning, since the floors did not appear to be vacuumed and my dog was able to easily sniff out some stray gummy bears and candy wrappers on the floor from the previous guests. Suggest they either lower the pet fee or actually use that $ for cleaning, rug shampooing etc

If you are just looking for a clean, quiet and affordable place to spend a night or two, this fits to bill. Amenities are minimal but the rates are considerably lower than most in the immediate Truckee area. Staff was friendly. Rooms are basic with no closet and a bit smaller than most. No elevator to second floor. Free Breakfast was just packaged food, coffee & juice with a microwave & toaster.

The property was recently updated and clean. The front desk person had four dogs with her and was on the phone chatting (not with a customer) each time I entered the lobby. Even though I put the "Please Make-up My Room" sign on the door, no one did anything. I asked the front desk person about this and she told me that housekeeping doesn't enter the rooms. She told me they are short-staffed and don't make-up rooms and I could "take it up with the GM". The room I had was on the same side as Highway 80. It sounded like the window was open (even though it was closed) and the cars going by were extremely loud. The sauna and spa were "out-of-order" and could not be used.

My room was dirty, both beds had hairs on the sheets, very dusty, carpet was not vacuum. The bathroom was dirty, the list goes on. We arrived after checkin in time otherwise we would have had reported this sooner. I wouldn’t stay at this place again.

Ok, this is not a high end hotel. Check the price and you shouldn't be expecting that. The employees, with the exception of our first encounter, were super friendly and not in a hurry to brush us off. Breakfast is provide and it's do it yourself but not bad for free. A few minor things in the room, like one light did not turn on. All in all, it's basic but clean and friendly.
