Situated in Stowe, this attractive villa for $1,354 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. It is hard to put into words what a special, captivating experience you're about to embark on! It will take your breath away! Our Villa is a world-class getaway surrounded by several other exquisite destinations. Our luxurious villa serves as homebase while you partake in the myriad wonders of Trapp Family Lodge, Stowe Mountain Resort and the town of Stowe, and the broader Green Mountains and Burlington. Our villa is capacious and well-equipped to host groups of families, friends, and anyone looking for a remarkable vacation. With a remarkable open floor plan with the kitchen, dining room, and anchored by the gorgeous fireplace and living room with dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the beauty of the mountains into the home, screened-in three season porch and an outdoor deck, you are in for a getaway you're not going to forget. Trapp Family Lodge is situated on 2,500 acres in idyllic Stowe, VT and boasts miles of trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and mountain biking, making Trapp a magical four seasons destination. Established in 1947 by Maria Von Trapp (Sound of Music) and her family, Trapp is a unique mountain resort known for beautifully blending the best of Austrian themes and architecture with the majesty of Vermont. The Resort consists of a Main Lodge with a restaurant, bar, shops, and guest rooms; Guest Villas and Private Villas as standalone properties around the Trapp grounds; a Fitness Center and Spa Facility are the entry point to amenities like pool/spa, gym, tennis courts, rock climbing wall, yoga studio, and more; an Outdoor Center serves as the gateway to 30 miles of groomed trails for cross-country skiing, sleigh rides, and snowshoeing in the winter and mountain biking and hiking in the warmer months, making Trapp a magical four seasons destination; use the trail system to access the Trapp Brewery and disc golf (or short drive from our Villa if you prefer); and finally the Trapp grounds include genuine, active farming elements such as sheep, highland cattle, maple syrup harvesting, and more. Trapp publishes a schedule of enriching activities, such as horse-drawn wagon rides, tours of the property, historical tours of the lodge chronicling the von Trapp family, baking classes, craft-making opportunities, afternoon tea and cookies in the main lodge, seasonal evening campfires with s'mores, guided hiking tours, and more. You will receive a copy of the schedule when you check-in or you can access it online.

Beautiful property, very comfortable for a group. Bedrooms are spacious and the “great room” was very comfortable hanging out in the evening for those of us who stayed at the condo plus hosting extra friends for dinner. Enough elbow room to comfortably cook, eat, play games and play music all at the same time. Such nice extra touches too like excellent coffee! Thank you JP, we will stay here again.

We love Stowe and it doesn’t get any better than staying in a Villa at the Trapp Family Lodge. Great combination of very comfortable and well appointed gathering space, and privacy with each room having an en suite bath. Unit was very well appointed. Instructions and communications were very clear. Host was super responsive. Amenities at Trapp Lodge fitness center were appreciated by all guests. Overall-a super memorable week!

Impressive views from multiple rooms. Clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Walkable access to the Von Trapps property/amenities and a short drive to town, the Stowe resort and restaurants were big plusses.

Property is a great fit for 2-3 families. 3 main bedrooms are very large and separate downstairs bunk room is a good place for kids to hang away from parents. Property owner was also extremely responsive throughout the stay. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing house and the host was very communicative. You cannot beat the amenities that come with the Trap property. The house had a great floorplan with gorgeous vistas from the large living room windows. Kids had a blast sledding in the back yard. Highly recommend!

The property is truly amazing. The entire home is clean and beautifully put together. If your looking for not just a house in Stowe, but an unforgettable experience, this is your place. The owners were responsive and excellent to work with as well.
