Located in Homer, this charming cabin for $306 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The Homer Seaplane Base is located right on Beluga Lake in the Heart of Homer. Offering six cabins, and four suites, we provide guests the unique opportunity to stay at a fully functioning seaplane base. Guests are encouraged to visit our on-site restaurant, “The Tickled Pear at Water Rudders,” which offers a wide selection of beer, wine, and delicious Mexican fare. Guests looking for a bit of adventure should contact our partner Beryl Air, located on-site, just steps away from your front door. The Homer Seaplane Base is a fully functioning seaplane base and facilitates lodging accommodations, a restaurant, an event space, and floatplane tours. We have multiple units located at the seaplane base, and you are welcome to use any of the designated common areas on the property. Please feel free to contact us by messaging, text, phone, or email. If you need anything, we are happy to help. Should you need assistance in person, you are welcome to stop by the Beryl Air Office (located on-site) during regular operating hours. The Homer Seaplane Base is the perfect home base for your Homer adventure and beyond. Located right off Ocean Drive, we are situated between the famous Homer Spit and downtown. Close to fishing tours, floatplane adventures, restaurants, shopping, groceries, and more. While on-site, please feel free to visit Water Rudders, featuring “The Tickled Pear,” our on-site restaurant where you can expect delicious food and a great selection of beer and wine. Beryl Air, our local floatplane partner, is also on-site and available for all your adventure needs. The cabin is private and entirely yours during your stay. You will check yourself in using our keyless entry keypad located on the front door of the cabin. Please note you must use stairs to access the entrance of the cabin. You will also use stairs to access the common areas around the property. Parking is available in our dedicated gravel lot. We encourage guests to park at the top of the lot near the road. However, we ask that you do not block the dumpster. The Waterfront cabin is the red cabin located on the west side of the property at the base of the complex on the lake. There is a sign near the front door that indicates "Waterfront Cabin". You will be a 1-2 walk from the parking lot. If you would like to load/unload your items closer to the cabin, just follow the driveway towards the lake. Please keep loading time to a minimum. Our Waterfront Cabin offers a king-size bed in the main bedroom and a full sleeper sofa in the living room providing accommodations for up to 4 guests. The cabin also offers a full kitchen, including a microwave, stovetop with oven, 12-cup drip coffee maker, and basic cooking essentials. A Smart TV is located in the common area. Guests will also enjoy the residential washer and dryer located in the bathroom with a walk-in shower. Please note the hot and cold handle in the shower for this unit is reversed. The Homer Seaplane Base is conveniently located between the Homer Spit and downtown. Homer is accessible by car, plane, or boat—a popular destination for cruisers, aviation enthusiasts, RV’ers, and landlubbers. Homer offers a variety of transportation options, including rental car facilities, taxi service, the popular Homer Trolley, and of course, fat bikes. The Homer Airport is located within two miles of the seaplane base, and you will be close to all dining, shopping, and tours.

Our stay was wonderful. The cabin was clean and comfortable, the folks were friendly, and the view of the lake and planes was lovely. The tacos next door at the Tickled Pear were delicious after a long day of bear viewing. Highly recommend this location.

Fantastic location! Loved watching the sea planes land & take off. Very clean & spacious. I emailed for deck chairs and not 10 minutes had passed when those arrived. Would highly recommend.

Great cabin with lake views. Large bedroom, kitchen, dining, and living area. Clean and well stocked with what you need. Restaurant on site....Tickled Pear.

We are so happy with our decision to stay at Homer Seaplane Base. Our cabin was perfect for our stay. It was great to be able to do some laundry. Thank you for providing soap and dryer sheets. We loved the view and watching the planes take off and land.

The best locatiopn one could ask for!! Right on the water, watching sea planes take off and land, right in between main town and the Spit, so it really was a great location. Small restaurant on site, too!
