First off this is budget accommodation, NOT a four-star hotel, so you need to adjust your expectations appropriately. I returned to Vancouver for work after having been overseas for several months. I stayed for two weeks at Comfort Cottage, initially, and then extended my stay by a week while I waited for an apartment to become available at the start of the next month. My bed, and room in general, was comfortable and immaculately clean. I had a nice Hisense Roku TV and a little fridge at my disposal. My hosts were delightful and tried hard to ensure all their guests had what they required. The kitchen facilities were simple but very useful. I could cook a hot meal with ingredients bought from the supermarket most nights which saved me a lot of money. The two shared bathrooms were very clean with a robust washing machine and dryer available for our use, I really liked the convenience of being a short walk away from the Oakridge skytrain station for access to work and a 7/11 convenience store where I'd pick up my morning coffee and croissant. Overall it was a great stay and I'd highly recommend Comfort Cottage Guest House to anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodation in Vancouver.

Very little. The only minor annoyances came from a few other selfish guests who stayed up late with blaring TVs. I'd recommend popping some good earplugs into your luggage as a backup. This only happened on a couple of occasions, however, and didn't diminish the quality of my stay over the three weeks I was there.
