About this house rental
Situated in Tanque Verde, this attractive house for $397 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This house is a fully furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath vacation home, located on a hill-top with spectacular panoramic views of the city of Tucson and surrounding mountains. This Southwest ranch style home, located on a three acre site, is surrounded by the lush Arizona desert with many towering Saguaros. Wildlife is abundant, with daily visits from quail, cotton tails, ground squirrels, woodpeckers, and hawks. Coyotes, javalinas, deer and roadrunners can also be observed but not as often. This is a private home on 3 acres bordering the Santa Catalina Natural Area. This 2,387 sq.ft. Southwest ranch designed home is beautifully built in the northeast Catalina Foothills near Mt. Lemmon with scenic views of sunsets and Tucson. Mt. Lemmon juts up 9,000 feet above sea level in the Santa Catalina Mountains north of our house. The journey to Mt. Lemmon begins with travels first through a saguaro desert , then into oak and pine covered mountains with spectacular rock formations. Soon you will reach Rose Canyon Lake, a trout fisherman's delight. Ski lifts are located in a small village, Summerhaven, at the top of Mt. Lemmon. The open floor plan makes this home ideal for entertaining. The large covered patio area, pool, and hot tub are great for relaxing and enjoying the scenic views. There are two king beds and one queen size bed, and one of the king beds can be converted to two twins if needed. The home is ideal for golfers, bicyclists, hikers, runners, skiers and individuals who enjoy privacy with a spectacular view. It is also great for those wishing to escape cold winters. The Tucson climate is traditionally warm throughout the year and you will find that you can enjoy golf, tennis, hiking, and other outdoor activities year round There are lots of great activities within 15 miles of the property. The area's best golf, bike paths, parks, restaurants, movie theaters, library, shopping, and various Farmer's markets are all nearby, as well as the Art & Music Festival held at various times of the year. The Accenture Match Play Golf Tournament is about a 34 minute drive, and the gem show is in January and February. Horseback riding rental in Catalina State Park, as well as nature viewing and hiking is right outside your door. There are many churches close by, the University of Arizona UMC hospital is 13 miles away, and Saguaro National Park is 9 miles. Other area attractions include the Pima Air & Space Museum, Reid Park Zoo, and Tuscon Botanical Gardens.

House met all of our expectations and needs. Very comfortably equiped, view of the city at night in the distance was spectaular

We previewed this property in May of 2022 before our 6.5 week stay in November and December of 2023 - to make sure the property would meet our needs. Our recent stay was great - it more than met our expectations. Although an older home, the house has been well maintained and the layout worked very well for the 2 of us and our Springer. We especially loved the large outdoor fenced in area with ample seating, pool, putting green and hard surface area that worked great for cornhole (property included cornhole boards).
The location, and especially the views and neighborhood can't be beat!
Most of the stay was just my husband and myself with our Springer, but friends visited during Thanksgiving week and thought it was great, as well.

First of all the directions to find the property were excellent and we found it on the first try, even thought it could be difficult without the specifics that were included with the check in email. The view from the patio and pool is breathtaking. Everything in the home is well maintained and has a very homey feel. The hot tub and pool were so nice to have! Plenty of room for the four of us to sleep comfortably in our own beds which was a must for us. Any questions we had were addressed quickly and the checkout process was a breeze. So thankful to have found this home to stay during our visit with Grandpa who lives in Tucson!

This was an amazing property with some incredible views. Was a very relaxing environment and beautiful home with beautiful decor!
The location was perfect with relation to Mt. Lemmon which was one of the highlights to the trip. Relax time in the pool was perfect for the late afternoon and evening to take in the views of the area. Morning runs in the area were also incredible as the local wildlife was abundant!
The hosts were very accommodating and would definitely stay again! What an fantastic trip…it was hard to leave!!

This was our second time at the Milagrosa House. Very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Pool and hot tub are great. Very quiet, natural, desert environment. Gazing out at the view was our favorite part. Kevin was very responsive to our communication and requests. The entire stay was wonderful. Thanks so much!

The house was in a perfect locations for all our day trips. We had the best time at sunset to regroup and enjoy the hot tub/pool. The views were breathtaking. We would definitely stay again. The only thing I would suggest is more lighting around the pool and hot tub. Some fun twinkle lights would help set the mood and make it easier to see your way in and out of the pool and hot tub area.

The house is everything we expected and more. The best part, and where we spent most of our time was the outdoor area which was wonderful. The pool, hot tub and putting green were great. We especially loved the view of the mountain and surrounding area. We also had an unexpected light show from one of the air forces planes flying at night. We would definitely hope to visit again. This is our second time staying at this rental house and we hope to visit again some day. The indoor space is clean and usable but the outdoor swimming pool, decks, views, and surrounding desert landscape is what makes us come back. Great location near Mt. Lemmon and other parks and beautiful neighborhood walks.

Enjoyed everything this amazing home had to offer. Loved the mid century vibe and homage to the roots of Tuscon including Navajo art and all the reference books available to thumb through. Feel very thankful we got to stay there for our first Sonoran Desert vacation!

Fabulous 360 degree views of Tucson, mountains and sunsets. This home is elevated on the hillside as you approach Mount Lemon. The surrounding homes are multimillion dollar properties. Absolute privacy and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Sonoran desert. Communication when needed with property owner and manager was timely and very helpful. The home was stocked extremely well with everything you need. This was the perfect spot for much needed rest and relaxation.

On a scale of 1-5 this place gets a 10. Every single thing about it is perfect!! The property has everything you could want or need. The house is clean and well laid out and well stocked.
We stayed for a week with our 3 kids who quite literally LIVED in the pool and hot tub. We had gorgeous sunsets every night and spent so much time at the various outdoor spots.
If you enjoy peace and quiet and a rural feel,this is the place for you! Kevin was an absolute joy to communicate with, so friendly and helpful. Even the pool guy went out of his way to be kind and nice.
All around we are already dreaming of coming back and can't recommend this property more.

We rented this place for a week to get some sun with our new baby. The house was really well set up and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was perfect with lots to do (pool, hot tub, putting green) and lots of shade for the baby. The property manager was very responsive and helpful.

If you appreciate beauty, the setting is unparalleled. When not exploring the area, we practically lived on the large veranda and oversized covered porch. The pool is lovely and we enjoyed the hot tub on cold mornings and evenings. The home has everything you need for comfort. The sky in the evening is truly breathtaking. This is the second year my wife and I stayed here. Loved it. Located in the foothills of Catalina Mts. with wonderful views. The owner and local caretaker are excellent to deal with. The house is older so when it is windy you can certainly hear it. If there is any draw back, you are not close to anything such as grocery store, restaurants, gas, etc. It is located near the entrance road to Mt. Lemmon. If you are looking for peace and quiet, a great host, heated pool, putting green, wonderfully stocked kitchen, and lots of retro 60's stuff you have found the right place... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, in this very comfortable home, and found it very hard to leave. Everything about the large home is great, and the host Kevin was more than helpful and friendly, yes we got lost and he got us back on track. Thanks for the picture also. If you like being outdoors, this is the place. We spent most of our time on the patio(s), using the pool and hot tub, having putting contests on the putting green and making a fire in the fire pit at night. It was Christmas, and the weather was unseasonably warm, which was great since we got to eat outside too. You won't be disappointed!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The view is even better in person as we had a perfect day completed with a swim in the pool. My apologies to Jim as we had an unexpected trip to S America and were unable to return his call to assure that we had all we needed. All the best!

Very comfortable home. Indeed, we made sure we were home for the sunset every night, being flatlanders we had to take in the view as much as possible. This house is "far from the madden crowd" so it's very peaceful and quite. But close enough to any adventure you may have in mind. We'd go back for sure.

Didn't stay at the house because the property manager would not return calls telling us how to enter property. Owner contacted me after hearing this with a message telling me to contact the property manager. Something wasn't right with this. Either bad communication or after 4 attempts of reaching out and not getting a reply it seems suspicious.

This is an amazing house. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could need. The house is elevated part way up a mountain, with great views. Watching the summer rains every evening was a real treat. It is located near many natural attractions. The pool and putting green are a lot of fun. I just can't say enough about what a great house this is, and what a great location.
