The Location is excellent and the hotel is beautifully presented. Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Sam’s was a delicious place to eat and the cocktails were great.
They didn’t top up my water on the room and you have to pay for wifi, which I wouldn’t expect in a property of this standard - it’s normally included for guests in other hotels I stay in like this.

View was excellent. The location is good. very good to walk around in the old town.
But everything in Fairmont is charged. Even the wifi is not free and is charged. The TV shows are charged. I think that the hotel is overhyped.

The location is superb, the views and stunning and the building is iconic. The staff are friendly
The air conditioning in our room was incredibly loud and when we reported it to reception we were essentially told that’s just how it is - little to no effort made to do anything constructive. The pool is too small for a hotel that size and was always busy and, as a location that attracts families, often had a lot of kids playing which is absolutely fine but makes it hard to get a peaceful swim in! In addition to taxes the hotel also charges a resort fee which racks up quickly and the room lacked the amenities I would expect in return for the price of the stay and the additional levy. Overall I think the hotel is trading on its iconic status and is not delivering the quality I would expect for the price

* Visite guidée sur l'histoire du Château ;
* Visite du Vieux Québec ;
* Un Service Impeccable digne d'un Vrai Palace ;
* Une expérience culinaire inoubliable.
Toutefois, je tiens à soulever un point concernant la cabine de douche de ma chambre, qui semblait manquer d'étanchéité. Cette situation a entraîné une fuite d'eau sur le sol après chaque utilisation.

Dear hotel management team
I arrived at your hotel at midnight on the day of my reservation and felt the need to lodge a complaint regarding the issues I encountered during my stay.
It was close to midnight on the day we arrived at the hotel. A middle-aged male receptionist at the hotel front desk said: Add 20 Canadian dollars per day to upgrade to a double bed. We initially refused. After checking in, I went to the assigned room 6124 and found that there was a significant difference between this room and the room I booked in BOOKING. The room was small and there was almost no space for a larger suitcase. The area was not 18 square meters at all, and the bed It should be no more than 1.3 meters to 1.5 meters small. The actual situation is far different from the description and pictures on the website.
We had no choice but to go downstairs and talk to the front desk about upgrading. He took the opportunity to say that we could upgrade to a city view room by adding CAD 60 per day. Since it was already too late and we were very tired from the trip, we were afraid that the room arrangement would not be ideal again. I agreed to add $60 Canadian dollars to upgrade every day. I thought I would feel relieved this time, but the upgraded room did not meet my expectations for accommodation, and I found that the extra fee paid did not bring about a corresponding improvement. There was no other way, it was already early in the morning, so the two girls had no choice but to stay.
What surprised us even more was that the daily upgrade fee of CAD 60 also had taxes and fees. This was not informed by the front desk when we checked in. I think he deliberately concealed it, and gave us the impression that the CAD 60 was a daily upgrade fee. Full cost of upgrade.
Later, I gradually discovered that the daily increase of 70+ Canadian dollars including tax did not match the room price corresponding to the website. This price should not be like this.
This makes me very disappointed.

The Christmas trees in the foyer were so beautiful and felt very inviting.
The floral scent when we entered the front door was extremely overwhelming.
I thought it may be perfume from the guests, but it was very strong and disturbing throughout the hotel. For someone who has asthma and severe allergies, it was quite bothersome.

I liked that we have the impression that we make a time travel back in time, with all the old architectural stuff and that the hotel is located in the heart of the city.

Our room was a nice size. My husband truly enjoyed the shower head. We enjoyed the daily housecleaning. We like Starbucks being on your property. We like that you offer a free guided tour of the city.
My husband went for the ice and the machine was broken. I immediately called services and they had no idea of it being broken and told us another place to go on our floor. Personally, I thought a nice gesture would have been to kindly bring us a bucket of ice.
