Beautiful lobby, clean gym and pool
Thin walls, neighbors were very loud and even when quiet- the tv being low is still audible through the walls

it was ok
We came for a weekend away and for the Holland Tulip Festival but the unpleasant events during the night ruined completely our experience. At about 2:30 am a domestic dispute broke out between a couple in a neighboring room. They were both screaming at the top of their lungs for over 2 hours, often it seemed that it had gone from verbal violence to physical violence as the walls were shaking and you could hear things being thrown, people or things, who knows. Security came 3 times and the couple was finally evicted. Too late however to get any kind of sleep. It was absolutely horrible and the slow actions of security could have led to serious harm to either person fighting or other guests if they had gone out to check or talk to that couple or if guns had been involved. I found the hotel security inactions actions completely irresponsible and why was the police not called? At checkout, we complained about the lack of action and the impact on our stay and the hotel staff offered a "possible room upgrade" on our next visit. There won't be a next visit.

The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows allowed me to sleep all night. The view from the window was oversaw by the waterfront very good. There was very little noise from other guests throughout the night. The maid service was excellent..
The bathroom sink had fine crack on the inside bottom, recommend replacement. Construction was ongoing inside the hotel and outside the hotel which was inconvenient getting around the conference rooms on first and second floors.

I loved the view and the location. We were able to walk to our destination. We were able to walk to find dinner and breakfast was right in the building. Beautiful facility. Friendly staff even other guests staying were friendly. It was a lovely stay. Very affordable and comfortable. I do wish they had had an extra blanket on the closet shelf instead of an extra pillow but the lack of one did not stop me from sleeping. Our room was quiet, we never heard any of our fellow guests staying in the other rooms. I hope to stay again some day.
This was my first stay here, they set the bar pretty high for any follow up stays I have here. I was a little disappointed that there was not a tub in the bathroom, only a shower. Also, another packet of coffee would have been nice. There were three of us staying and only two packets of coffee for the morning.

Not much
Everything , what a waste of money, I should have stayed in the cheapest room you had, it would have had the same amenities.

Great location, very friendly staff, super clean room.
Pool area needs some attention. Maybe make an 18+ area or don’t allow kids in the jacuzzi.

The place is fabulous. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Breakfast add on was confusing. They should make it specific.

It was pretty and fun to see the old architecture. Room was decent but not great.
Parking garage isn’t only for hotel so it filled up one night and we had to drive around trying to find somewhere to park. Rooms have a fridge but no microwave, so we couldn’t heat up the food we had. (We called and asked about it before we brought the food). The staff just wasn’t very nice. They weren’t rude, just not as nice as I would have thought they would be, being in the hospitality field.

The location was perfect for our trip. Walking distance for everything we needed.
I thought I was getting a room upgrade with a view. our room overlooked the heating and cooling utilities. Not a huge problem but it would have been nice.

It was comfortable, the staff was extra nice and helpful including The Kitchen and Starbucks staff! Loved the hot tub! Wanted to stay longer!
The store could be stocked with more beer and some other alcoholic beverages other than wine and beer. But the wine worked since I am not a beer drinkers

It was walking distance to the Gerald Ford library. And it had Duck Pins.
The hotel has just about everything shutdown on Sundays - no bar, no fine Spanish dining.

The food and extra things you can enjoy there
The water mildew smell our room had and all the bedding smelled like smelled very bad had to take shower when got home immediately and there was crumbs and dirt under the sheets in the bed

Absolutely beautiful with a wonderful staff and very clean.
That you guys don't rent the kitchen at a cheap rate. That way the restaurant with the bowling alley could serve some kind of food. Your guest assume that it's part of your facility they don't realize that that restaurant is rented separately. It just looks bad on you guys.

The location is perfect right downtown and the staff was great 👍
For the price, I wasnt impressed. Was here for a wedding and comparing experiences with relatives in their hotels seemed our experience was missing nice details. The room was huge but the bathroom and toilet were small and cramped. The breakfast package included money on a gift card to use in the hotel restaurants rather than a buffet so I ended up still having to spend money at breakfast. There was a Starbucks and one other breakfast spot with pretty limited options. I am normally a budget traveler and decided to splurge this time and didn't feel it was worth it. The hotel room also wasnt particularly clean.

The Lumber Barons Bar had very poor waitstaff. Very inattentive staff and mediocre interactions. This used to be a very high end historic bar and has definitely lost its luster. This was very sad to see.

Beautiful hotel, good location
Too noisy (told them I needed a high floor, given fourth floor, facing after) and mattresses too firm. At check out, no one's asked "how was your stay"? Felt like just another number on the guest roster
