We love this hotel for its spaciousness, it's amenities and its staff. It's our go-to for a weekend getaway.
The "fridge" in the room is actually a cooling chest. It would be better if it was an actual electric appliance, imo.

Great location. Nice modern room with great shower
The price I was charged was not the same as what Booking .com had quoted.

Within walking distance to Van Andel for concert. Clean. Updated. Safe.
Bed way too soft for my and my husband's liking. But that's us. Only disgusting nespresso available in room. If you want a normal, regular coffee, you have to buy it overpriced from the Cafe. Not to mention having to get dressed to leave your room to go get said coffee and can't enjoy waking up in your room without hassel. Not everyone who pays $300/night for a room is bougie. Just my opinion; most Americans drink regular coffee. Not Italian, unauthentic, discusting esspresso. Is there an influx of Italians/Europeans coming to Grand Rapids that I'm not aware of? Also, I totally understand this is located in the city and the parking is in a structure behind the hotel. But it's deceiving when on the website it says private parking "available". It's in a public parking structure that you have to pay for. It's also deceiving that they give you a validation slip, making you think that you won't have to pay, but instead, it gets charged to your room. Why even bother giving a validation slip? To avoid the hassel of a seperate charge??? I would rather have had to pay for parking separately knowing that I was paying for it rather than it being a surprise on my charge for the room AFTER the fact. I'm sorry, but one should not have to pay extra to park while staying and paying $300/night at a hotel. Is this a very nice hotel? Yes. Is it a very safe hotel? Yes. Does it fulfill it's purpose? Yes. Is it nicer than most other places? Yes. This is not a bad place to stay. Just some very disappointing "amenities" in my opinion. Probably won't stay here again and find a different hotel within walking distance to Van Andel for a concert.

The booking.com listed said breakfast included. I had to get the manager to actually authorize this

it was clean. nice shower.
I booked the room for $497 and got charged $597 at the hotel. it was a 1/2 mile walk from where we had to park to the hotel itself. there was no pool. the staff wasn't friendly and it was not a pleasant stay. luckily the rooms were clean otherwise I would have just went home.

Clean and Bright hotel in a really great location. We were there to attend a concert at GLC Monroe and it was a very short walk with good restaurants in between. The parking isn't on site but it's easy to find and you can pay for it at the hotel.

There was an extra tax that wasn't on booking.com and that's never happened before so my stay was actually 28 dollars more than said price. Also when I first checked in they said my reservation cost as more than my price from Booking.com but then later said we would be charged the rate I was given but still was more than agreed upon with booking.com.

Very modern, fantastic location, reasonable parking prices (including in/out of the ramp), Knoop the rooftop bar was fantastic! The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly.
It would be nice if there was a better way to get from the parking garage to the hotel however this would be a challenging fix as the ramp is not owned by the hotel. You do need to walk a block or walkthrough the movie theater lobby to get to the hotel lobby.

The location is great
They charge me more than I was told by booking.com. The toilet area is really small. If your a bigger person, you'll feel like your sitting in a box. There are no bathtubs in any room.
