Good place to stay.

Check-in was easy and fast. The underground parking was excellent. Beds were very comfortable. Front desk staff let us check-out late.

A lobby room was blocked off for construction. Breakfast room was somewhat dark. Layout of breakfast room was poor.

Unfreundliches Personal beim check in, schlechtes Frühstück, Zimmer hatte eine Verbindungstür zum

Die Unterkunft wirbt mit Frühstück inclusive. Das vor Ort angebotene Frühstück ist allerdings extrem schlecht und wurde von uns nicht genutzt.

Will stay here again

The location was perfect. USS Midway was within a minute. Great restaurants nearby. Very clean as well as friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast even though the area is under renovation. Plenty of food.Also a park across the street for children. Safe area.

A living nightmare

the breakfast had lots of frozen microwaveable sandwiches, cereal and not much else, the lobby area stunk of bad odor and were very rude when I landed there flying from Washington and my money was stolen and was unable to pay for my reservation. I understand it was my fault, but the lady in charge at the front desk was very annoyed with my persistence at trying to get a room for the night at This hotel. It was a really scary event flying across the country and realizing my money was hacked and stolen from bank account and becoming stranded. The lady in charge at the Hampton downtown San Diego inn on, Tuesday April, 23, 2024. Was very annoyed and clearly upset with me in my persistence in trying to get a place to sleep for the night. I ended finding place in a park to sleep after walking around with my heavy luggage for hours It was very late and I was extremely sore and tired from the walking it was very scary sleeping outside in a scary place on the other side of the country, I was mostly afraid of being attacked and robbed. luckily I survived and I was able to receive financial rescue from my mother I got a room at the Marriot and I explained to them my experiences and they gave me a free nights stay because of my traumatic experience of being robbed, Treated horribly by the staff, and sleeping outside in fear of being robbed , because of this traumatic experience I will never stay at Hampton Inn ever again, I'm going to stay at The Marriot Hotels every time I travel form now on due to there excellent customer care and the overall experience of there High quality Facility, rooms, breakfast, and service

Some big problems underlying a decent place

Great location, simple quick and friendly check in/out service. Wifi was decent and the bed was comfortable.

Remodelling was still going on so many things seemed in the works but worst was that two people got in who weren’t staying there and I spotted them roaming the halls; hugely lacking security!

Agradable pero muy basico

Ubicacion muy buena, cerca de la costa y del centro. El desayuno bien elaborado pero muy basal. La habitacion muy limpia, con suministro adecuado de toallas y elementos de higiene.

La relacion calidad precio no es adecuada. No es un hotel lujoso, mas bien antiguo y ademas esta en remodelacion y los precios por noche estan muy altos. El hotel cuenta con lo basico para pasar una estancia sin contratiempos, pero no sobrecumple expectativas. Durante el desayuno, el personal del hotel se limita a mantener los suministros de alimentos disponibles, pero no realiza limpieza de las mesas. Si no desayunas temprano es muy posible que tengas que desayunar en una mesa con restos de alimentos.

Nice, pleasant and relaxing

Room was modern ,roomy, comfortable location was very convenient and close to all attractions.

The elevators were a little bit slow but really wasn't a big deal.

The hotel of the sleepless nights

The breakfast is average but served by disposable dish. The hotel is clean but there is some renovation areas.

The hotel of the sleepless nights. There is not soundproofing at all. You will wake up by every train which go just behind the hotel. Moreover, you hear every voices which come from the other rooms or the corridor.

Breakfast was good. Liked cold water pitcher/ container in lobby for refilling water bottles

Desperately need two(2) waffle makers. Takes 2.30 to make a waffle. If you’re fourth in line and someone has to make three, well, it seems to take forever

Mejor hubiese sido cerrarlo, horrible, un ascensor me dejo entre pisos durante 10 minutos

El peor desayuno q he visto en un Hilton.

TODO no me gustò, el entrenamiento del personal inexistente, total precariedad, el café había q salir de la sala para ir a servirselo al lobby del hotel. Soy voluntario de Caritas en Suiza y damos mejor servicio a las personas en los comedores.

Hotel works ongoing and clang clang clang of trains

Staff were great and location for city was good

Interlinked rooms had zero insulation from neighbours conversations at all hours. The hotel is sat on a railway line.. This will cause noise issues for 75% of guests. Clang clang clang clang is constant. Hotel is undergoing works which is not advertised. Breqkfast is in a temporary area that isn't sufficient for amount of guest. There are stored items on shelves so makes it feel like you're in a shelter. The food is good but felt like being in a refugee camp.. The hotel had a flood to front a while ago and nowhere does it tell you the works are causing disruption to guests. One of the three lifts was out the whole week making it slow to get to floors

This place is awfule

They elevator didn’t work. the toilet didn’t work. the fridge didn’t work. they shut off the water during our stay right before i had to get ready for a work convention. asked them to refund the first night and instead they sent me points. never staying again

Avoid staying here, such a waste of money.

Breakfast is good,

First of all, First room we had it was super lousy, couldn’t sleep because of the train that went trough. We tried to sleep but the sound comes up every hour for 20-40mins. We asked to switch the room, and we had it. Second, After arrival at the second room, we tried to take a shower but the shower was broken or something happened and we can’t take a shower. Now 7:35AM, Terrible experiences, with what I paid for. For one night stay I paid $179 with this expenses and experiences.

Kurztrip Nach San Diego

Ein grund für die auswahl des Hotels war die Nähe zur Bahnstation und dem Flughafen. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück war umfangreich und gut. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.

Man hätte da auch selbst drauf kommen können, wenn man ein Hotel in der Nähe zum Bahnhof sucht. Es gibt neben dem Hotel einen lärmenden Bahnübergang.

the hotel is closed and attached to the train line, so if you want to wake up in the night and listen to the train passing by, this is your hotel. fix the elevators! the A/C unit in the room is very noisy.

Best location for families and very affordable!

This hotel was amazing. I was traveling with my parents, who are in their 70s, and my 5 year old son. The location was perfect. The Waterfront park across the street had security officers till 10pm. I was comfortable playing at the park with my son and felt very safe in that neighborhood. The Old Town Trolley picks up two blocks in front of the hotel which was helpful to minimize walking for my parents. The breakfast was good and we loved the location. We would walk two block to Little Italy for dinner.
