Before we even got into town, we were directed to their sister Hampton Inn & Suites because we could not be accommodated even though we had reservations several weeks. The new location ended up costing us an additional $69.00 for the night, even though we were told for our inconvenience the University/Midtown hotel would pay for the night.

The only thing I can think of is the cookies at check in.
It was very loud all night, indoor & outdoor traffic. Small tub near pool was not hot tub instead a whirlpool with cold water.
I was very disappointed with staff. Breakfast staff was mumbling comments under her breath & not friendly. A heavy set lady from office pushed her way through breakfast room (during breakfast hours) carrying a large box over her head, she said “whoever doesn’t move can get hit” as she walked past my daughter. And then she said in Spanish “no estoy jugando” translation “I’m not playing”

The guy at the counter when we checked in was nice.
Both elevators were out of service, our room was at the top floor. Some mids pulled the fire alarm, forcing everyone to evacuate. There was only one person working that night when the fire alarm was pulled.

It is just off 1 40 and a brewery and food court we 30 yards away.
Ir was very expensive for the quality of the hotel. it is “pet-friendly” for a non-refundable $75 pet fee.

I had multiple cockroaches in my room and had to change rooms. I also did not have hot water for my shower in the morning on 4/28. I was assured there would be money deducted from my final bill and there was not.

location
Cheyenne the check in girl was sooo rude and unaccomadating! Request 1st floor as I do not ride elevators. Girl kept rambling about housekeeping problems so put us on second floor. Would NOT unlock stairs for me to access 2nd floor. It was unreal. Gad to leave hotel at 340 pm and go to a Walmart to wait for clean room on 1st floor at 5 pm! just travel cross country and exhausted. Room 112 air conditioning broke at 9 pm! Moved to 108 at midnight. 1 king bed Was traveling with my 30 year old son. A nightmare! Had to share the 1 bed ! Will expect full refund from Hilton!

I liked that I was gonna get breakfast when I paid for the stay for one night, but The breakfast was depleted the next morning, and not many take and go options. My son felt sick after he ate his omelet. He was the only one who ate something that morning as he was awake first. Room was comfortable, clean, but I can’t say $200/night was the right cost.
I paid $200 + to rest for the night. It turns out the location was right off the i40, which made exiting easy, but then the location was right next to a 3-level brewery and I was worried thered be noise and partying at night. When checking in, I told the receptionist that I didn’t realize there was a bar next door and he assured me it would be fine. For most of the night, there was noise and especially neighbors leaving and slamming their doors, every few minutes it seemed. The slamming was so loud it kept us up. Then eventually the slamming stopped and then it noise switched to loud motorcycle racing on the i40 in the middle of the night. That was consistent too. Then there were loud sirens all night. It’s a good location but a bad location especially with the i40 & bar so close by.

next to a pretty cool bar and restaurant.
Room was not clean. Our first room we got had no deadbolt. And just wasn’t clean at all. Bedding was terrible. And so was the building. It was very dirty. there was snot on the ground by the elevators. Cold shower

The property itself was nice. Our room was clean and comfortable.
Trash was overflowing in some areas and the ladies behind the desk were talking about their frustrations of other guests (loudly for other guests to hear). This happened twice - once when we checked in that evening, and then again with another gal, when we left that morning. Both were friendly when approached but thought it was a little off putting that they would talk to other employees about guests in ear shot of other guests. Other than that, our stay was perfect!
