I loved the way the hotel was just brand new and renovated.

Stayed two night with our two kids (6 and 7) and cat during Spring Break. A wonderful hotel. The things that stood out to me:
- Very friendly staff, everyone had a smile and was eager to help.
- Buffet in Sprinhouse Cafe was excellent. Exceeded my expectations. A wonderful salad bar during dinner and they were very accommodating for vegetarians.
- Very pet friendly, but also respectful to those who don't wish to encounter them during their stay. We brought our cat (hairless, walks on leash, well trained etc.) and that was the reason we choose the Hyatt, but it couldn't have worked out ant better. The door hangers saying that the room had pet inside (to 'warn' house keeping) was super smart!
- The Flow Rider/Wave Machine (bodyboard/surf) was such a wonderful experience for our kids. Definitely the highlight of their stay. The staff working was wonderful! I didn't ask their names but there was a men and a lady and they did such a wonderful job engaging with the kids and they seemed truly passionate about teaching them! Do book a spot in advance since they book up I believe.
- Towel dispensers at pool areas!
- Rooms were modern, clean and had a very comfy feel to them. Appreciated the large fridge, plenty of towels, coffee machine and complementary water.
- Texts with changes/updates. Due to weather they moved some activities (or had to change them to indoor activities) and I would receive texts about this to inform us. Super helpful! And also the ability to adjust so quickly to weather changes was great! No activity got cancelled, they just moved it indoors or came up with an other activity.
- as mentioned in other reviews, and you know that you can expect this at a place like this, prices are steep. Drinks, self parking (might as well use their valet for slightly more, their valet was super helpful, friendly and seamless), meals, etc, add up. Having said, the price of the buffet was very reasonable, especially for the quality you'd get!
- we didn't come for the wifi, but wifi around the hotel was choppy/poor. Couldn't get a signal in our room and also in other areas it was very slow.
- no/little toilets around the pool area. Maybe we missed them, but we had to walk out of the waterpark and either go to the gym area or pavillion. Makes you think a bit if everyone goes through that effort with little kids whilst at the waterpark.

The property, rooms, facilities are very clean. The resort is beautiful with lots of space for families and kids to roam around or enjoy various activities. If you need anything off property you can find everything you need within a few minutes.
There’s nothing to not like. It’s fantastic and great for young families. My teenagers had a great time and enjoyed the beach volleyball, pool table, etc. I would like them to have more offerings in a game room for older kids who stay up later.

I liked the room and the facilities (structure of the hotel)
The line to have breakfast (about 1 hour waiting)
I traveled all world and it was the worst waiting line to have breakfast I have ever seen. With two kids and two seniors it is hard to have it in the beginning of our day.
Also the restaurants time to have lunch and dinner close early.

The amenities for kids are great! There a lots of activities the kids can enjoy.
Paid parking per night. Limited selection at the shop.

I enjoyed that the resort was “alive” when walking and doing the activities. Most hotel lobbies are quiet and boring but I found myself sitting in the lobby and enjoying the day to day.
Parking fees and flow rider cost. Having a free session then pay for more would be an excellent option. Parking, include with resort fees.

Resort property is secluded despite development around it. Entering into the space transports you into the country even though it is only 15 minutes to downtown. Water facilities and sandy area mostly in shade. Perfect for preteen family and easy to watch younger children. Water cool and clean. I can't recommend this place because I don't want a crowd next time I go there with my family.
no complaints.

The gated entrance/exit was awesome. The Antlers Lodge was outstanding. Golf courses were beautiful. The weather was not cooperating to make use of the aquatic amenities, but the pool grounds were immaculate. The remodeled room decor was very nice. Outdoor patio was very nice.
As far as the room, it did not have a hair dryer as stated. It did not have water bottles supplied as stated. No microwave in the room. The shower/toilet room was too small as the bathroom door barely cleared the toilet to close the door causing an awkward stance maneuvering around the door. There was also no air vent in the bathroom. The ice machine on our floor was not working. Restaurant meal pricing was crazy expensive. I did feel the Antlers Lodge pricing was appropriate with the exception of charges for side items. Main course did not come with sides. The Elk Tenderloin was melt in your mouth delicious 😋

Cleanliness and staff great disposition to solve things.
The room heat was broken and we had to be move to another room at 2AM. Also after and event that we attended at the hotel, there was no warm food that could be ordered. Just chips and crackers.

Lazy river and lots of activities for kids to do! The restaurants on property were excellent. staff on property were nice. Kids could hangout in the activity room and did s’mores at night!
Late being able to check in, no bathtub, semi clean room that we had to wait extra to be checked in to to be “cleaned”, room number fell OFF of wall, no signs or people to assist in where things are on the property…if we didn’t get lost looking for the restaurant, we wouldn’t have ever known there was a kids room with inflatables and games.

The location of the property is nice.
No hot water to shower in spite of expensive room rate. Because of construction there was no hot water available to shower in the morning. The restaurants were closed between 1:30pm and 2:00pm. And we were mislead. We arrived at a restaurant at 1:15pm and were told that the Long bar was serving food. We walked to the long bar and it was closed. We returned to the restaurant and they would not let us be seated because they said they closed at 2pm. The Christmas decorations were very sparse compared to our prior visits of over 14 years. Unless you made reservations two to three weeks ahead of your stay, you can't get a spa reservation. It seems like locals get all of the bookings and none are left for folks that have checked in.
