The property is beautiful and peaceful. We have stayed at the property three times and will be back. I really like that it’s pet friendly. Our dogs enjoyed it as much as we did.
Everything was great.

We had an amazing two-night stay at City on a Hill near Fredericksburg. The serene surroundings allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in nature, and the cabin provided a cozy retreat. The highlight was undoubtedly the jacuzzi – a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The presence of friendly animals added a charming touch, making our experience truly delightful. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

The hot tub and the isolation
It was pretty bright in the morning, suggest room darkening curtains.

We loved this cute cabin with the creek view and hot tub. Most of all, we loved the quiet country charm and the beautiful ponies and calves on the property who came to visit in the afternoon.
The constant blue light on the wall AC unit kept the room too lit at night.

It was absolutely beautiful, very private, peaceful and the cabin exceeded our expectations!! We had a beautiful sweet kitty cat that we called Smokey who spent 4 days and 3 nights with us as well!! The hot tub and privacy were just the cherry on top! My husband and I did not want to leave and we are already planning our next trip back very soon!!!
There was nothing we didn’t like about it!!

The location is great, just far enough away for great views but still a short drive from all the activities!
I didn’t see the ponies I was excited to see but that’s okay! 🐴

Truly a retreat away from the hubbub of the city. a place of peace and tranquility. The cabin is extremely clean and contains everything you need to have a great time, especially for couples. the hostess is excellent. They accommodated a special request of rose petals on the bed for the anniversary and a bottle of chilled wine ready on our arrival, that's bonus points! The hot tub was ready upon arrival, it was our favorite place during the stay. The air conditioning at a pleasant temperature and appropriate music inside the cabin to set the ambient.
I honestly can't find anything I didn't like. this place is excellent

Beautifully appointed and comfortable cabin with private hot tub. Deck overlooking Spring Creek where we spent hours viewing wildlife and a rambunctious herd of ponies on the ranch. website pics are very accurate.

The property was excellent. Great location, cabins were clean and well decorated with lots of little special touches. View from porch was fabulous and hot tub was private and perfect.
In my opinion the only thing to take this property over the top would be to add covered BBQ grills (not open) and stove/oven in cabin.

The location was beautiful and the hot tub was very relaxing.
My wife was not a fan of the curtains because she didn’t think they were private enough. maybe some blinds would help.

loved that it was secluded and the property was beautiful with a creek running through. We also enjoyed seeing the ponies nearby. It’s a wonderful place to relax and unwind in nature. At night you have a great view of the night sky.

I enjoyed the place itself & so did my dog. The cabin was so relaxing and beautiful & just the sound of nothing but nature was nice. The hot tub was such a plus. It was nice sitting in there early in the morning. The view was amazing. I am glad we brought food preped and bbq'd because we had no intentions on leaving. But my favorite part was it was extremely clean and homey. Overall, I enjoyed my getaway.
It was extremely dark. Pitch black outside at night. It was expected, though in this setting. Just don't forget to pack a flashlight.

we wanted to get away from the city and relax, this was the perfect spot for just that! the cabin was immaculate, the bed was super comfy and the hot tub was ready for us upon arrival! the only sounds you heard were the occasional neighing of the ponies or clucking from the chickens.
