We checked in late and it was very easy. It was the quietest hotel I think I've ever stayed in. The location was fantastic.
It included breakfast but it was pretty greasy.

The price is right. The room was generally clean and comfortable although basic. Included breakfast was okay though with limited choices.
Minor things: hair in the sink drain, yuck. Bare electrical wires from one of the lamps, dangerous enough to seriously harm someone and something that should have been noticed by someone other than me.

The breakfast was excellent! Freshly cooked eggs made specially for us and lots of options with a friendly service. Thank you!

It's a dorm. It was clean and good and an enjoyable stay. I would have loved a comfy queen bed but I never would have expected that in a million years when booking this stay.

Breakfast is excellent. The lady at kitchen provided exceptional service in the morning.
Bathroom was too small. And drinking water is not kept outside of reception. So water was not available after reception hours.
Parking is a big headache. We spend an hour to pay by app but parking app didn’t work. We called also on the number provided but received no help in processing payment from customer service desk. They suggested pay by app is the only option.
A parking meter could be of great help but parking meter is not there at Carey. Or parking charges could have been included in room charges to provide guest some convenience!

check in was fine.
The room was very hot when we arrived. The blinds were open and with the west facing window, it was very hot. It took a long time for the fan to cool down the room.

Very friendly staff. PERFECTLY located for the Chan Center for the Performing Arts, and other UBC locations. And just a few blocks away from Wildlight Kitchen & Bar for a fantastic meal.
The main guest bed was lovely but too high for my elderly father to get up into. The sofa sleeper was ancient and should be retired.

Location was very nice.
The curtains and curtain rod fell down. The parking app ended up being a scam and we had to put a hold on our credit card to avoid more fraudulent charges. It was quite noisy, could easily hear voices and plumbing etc —thin walls I guess. There was not a stopper for the sink.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The location is excellent and rooms are clean and quiet. We call it a great little secret to stay in Vancouver for a very reasonable price!
Nothing, everything was good

The beds were extremely comfortable, and it came with a small portable heater in the room. The location being on campus made it super convenient to travel to the Tourmaline West Stadium everyday. I liked the security of needing a key to enter the area of the stairs and elevator as well.
There was some gross stuff in our sink grain catcher when we arrived. Since it is on campus, parking is ridiculously expensive. There were also parties being thrown on the floor above us, and the students were very loud.
Also, it is a property that does not allow pets. However, I was woken up at 2AM, 3AM, and 5AM to a small dog barking and it echoing down the hall.

Very close to UBC Département of Dentistry.
In a calm neighborhood.
Short distance to botanical garden, japanese garden, an a lot of trails that leads to the beach.
Good connection to the Bus.
might need a new coat of paint.
