This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom vacation home provides you and your guests with a spacious layout, great amenities, and the convenience of being just a few steps from the beach! Upstairs you'll find the main level of the house, featuring the open concept kitchen, dining, and living areas. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils, equipped with stainless steel appliances, and has plenty of counter space for preparing home cooked meals. Surrounding a flat-screen TV, the living room features a comfortable sofa and an oversized chair with an ottoman. You'll be able to sit back and relax, watch your favorite shows or movies after a long day at the beach! The Master bedroom is also located on the main level of the house and features a King size bed and attached private bathroom. Two guestrooms are also on this level, one with a Queen size bed and flat-screen TV and the other with 2 sets of twin size bunk beds. Downstairs, just through the access to the garage, you'll find two additional guest rooms. One bedroom features Queen size bed and flat-screen TV; the other bedroom features a Full bed and a Twin bed, plus a flat-screen TV. A Jack and Jill bathroom is shared between the two. Go for a refreshing dip in the sparkling swimming pool, layout under the sun on one of the poolside loungers, or cook up a delicious meal on the BBQ grill! Take a short stroll to many local shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more! When you're ready to layout on the sand by the waves, you'll find the beach access is just steps from your door!

I will try to keep this as short as possible but this is an honest review. We rented this house for a girls trip 7 of us with the youngest being 37. I looked at many houses on the island and this one seemed to check most of the boxes. However, when I arrived I could tell the pictures were old and things were misrepresented.
I will say SPI Rentals was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I would rent other places from them for sure. The toilet was broken and we called and they had it fixed within an hour. EXCELLENT customer service.
We weren't looking for luxury by any means just comfortable, CLEAN and convenient. I looked through reviews on this house as well as others a lot of this stuff wasn't mentioned. To be honest I don't leave bad reviews and its more time consuming to point out all the issues but this was really just not a great experience and we were definitely disappointed. I by no means expect perfection I probably could have overlooked a few things but hopefully this can help with some improvements.
Pros:
- Location is fantastic for a short walk to the beach.
- The outdoor shower is perfect for washing off
- The downstairs was newer so that bathroom was nice and the rooms were a great size
- washer dryer worked great so laundry wasn't an issue.
- Dishwasher is great so not many dishes
Cons:
-The cooking items are old and sparse.
- Master bedroom bed is old and uncomfortable you can pretty much feel the metal when you are sleeping there.
- The furniture in the pics aren't the same as what is there. ESPECIALLY the chairs they are old and really need to be replaced as they aren't comfortable. This was an issue because one of the reason we chose this house was because we could all sit in the living room
- the controls for the pool aren't labeled. there is a small panel and the only button labeled is SPA. Which you wait a minute after pushing it to see if you shut it off or turned it on.
- The outdoor chairs are TERRIBLE. They are all cracked, rotted and tattered.
- Mold on the Skylight
- Mold on the base of the ceiling fan
- The fans are filthy
- The shower curtain liner in one bathroom is almost completely tore off the other is gross on the bottom.
- a ton of the little ants in the kitchen closet.
- There's a pullout couch but no extra pillows or blankets
- There is a canopy broken in the garage so that was a waste bringing it to the beach
We still had a great time at the beach and we spent a lot of time in the pool.

SPI rentals was outstanding. They were extremely easy to communicate with and very quick to resolve the broken garbage disposal. Responded with a technician arriving within a half hour. We will definitely rent with SPI rentals again. Thank you!

The location of the house is perfect! Less than
1 block from beach access. The only downfall for my family (due to the age of the children) of the house is that the bottom floor bedrooms, bathroom and laundry room are not accessible from inside the second floor. And the pool is only accessible from the driveway. Other than that, the house was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The house was large enough to accommodate our party, we loved the backyard and pool area, and the house was close to many restaurants and attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall the property was not the worst, but definitely did not meet our expectations and the photos were a little deceiving.
1. The pool filter does not work efficiently. We were CONSTANTLY cleaning the pool, before, during and after swimming.
2. Tge hot tub barely bubbles or gets hot. The controls are extremely confusing, or lack there of.
3. House is very dated. It seems like sloppy updates with paint have been made to cover up instead of replace.
4. THE MATTRESSES ON EVERY BED IS ABSOLUTE HORROR. None of them are comfortable. They are thin, noisy, and down right not comfortable at all.
5. The absolute tinest T.V. I have ever seen in a rental as expensive as this place.
6. There are not any mixing bowls...not a huge factor, but definitely inconvenient.
7. Finally the absolute WORST part of this house and the reason we would never stay here again...the bottom is 100% disconnected from the top. That was not made clear in the description or photos. We had our daughter, son-in-law, and infant grandson downstairs for napping etc. and literally walking across the floor upstairs sounded like a herd of animals below. It was TERRIBLE! My grandson isn't a light sleeper at all, but I was livid when I went downstairs and just simple walking above sounded like someone was about to come through the ceiling. It made it difficult to do anything in the mornings while the ones below were sleeping.
8. Location was ideal! I would definitely stay in this area again.

Great House with Plenty of Room
The pool and hot tub were a huge hit and a nice alternative option to the beach! So much room, the family all raved about the place. The one thing I would say is that the mattresses were very hard. I still gave 5 stars, and if we come back we will absolutely book this place or another property of theirs with a similar setup. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Great location. Spacious for everyone to not feel crowded. The hot tub stopped working and that same day maintenance came out to fix it. The customer service was awesome. Will be renting another house for next summer with the the company.

The house and accommodations were good the only downfall of this place was the pool is listed as heated and it was not. We called for maintenance to come out and they did but still did not resolve the issue.

My husband & I enjoyed our winter get-away at this property. The main living area is spacious & the heated pool was great & is a must in January & February on the Island. The backyard & upper deck allows for plenty of warm sunshine. The location is close to the beach.
There are a couple of design issues that were inconvenient for us, but which may not be a concern for others. First, there is no direct access from the backside of the property to the backyard patio & pool area. Secondly, two of the five bedrooms & one full bath are located in the back of the garage & there is no direct indoor access to the upstairs main living area. For those staying in those lower bedrooms, it may not be convenient to walk outside & up stairs to get to the main living area. The laundry is also located in the garage, again requiring you to walk outside to access it. Because the bedrooms are in the garage area, our vehicle (truck) did not fit inside either of the double garages. If you prefer to cook while staying there, I'd recommend bringing your own frying pans as there were few to choose from. Also, there were quite a few large dogs in the neighborhood & a lot of barking occurred.

a very hot day. We had groceries on the truck, until they gave us permission to go in and start unloading stuff in fridge. The pool was foggy cuz it had barely been clean. So it took time to clear. I think they should clean it early morning when somebody is checking out . When I tried to wash some clothes the washer scared the heck out of me cuz it was moving crazy... So we didn't have a washer,the days we were their only dryer. They came to check it, they had to order parts so I didn't have a washer. In patio their was a lot of grease on Cement, that we brought up to cleaning employees they said it was going to be cleaned, it wasnt cleaned. SPI rentals did return some credit for cleaning process. I send them pics. They also let me check out late at 12,checking out time was suppose to be 10am, but well by 9 am their was maintenance people cutting yard with mower and weed eater, I guess to make sure we woke up and get the heck out of their.SMH... but it is a nice house. Maybe if owner gets their own people and check it themselves.. because SPI cleaning group ,I believe waste too much time and don't do their work. It is a nice beach house. But they need a very strict manager that makes sure employees do their duties.I loved the house but many little issues that the first day was very frustrating and it seemed I had to be on the phone constantly with SPI rentals. Their is plenty of toys for pool and beach, but they were all disorganized that I organized myself. The cabinets too. As I used pans I tried to organize them too. I tried to get an extra blanket from closet,as I got it sand fell into my eyes from it. I just feel sorry for owners that they have such a beautiful beach house,and they trust SPI rental company and SPI employees don't do their job, and we paid A good amount of money for those 3 nights. I was very disappointed. I still have the pics. I also think another fridge on bottom would really benefit any one that rent this beautiful beach house.

Loved this property! Loved that if you have any problems they come to fix it super fast. We should've left the heater on the pool off because once it came on it was hot, but love the open space concept, close to the beach and loved all the space. Thank you for having us we enjoyed this property and SPI we're excellent

For having to go through a property rental company, it wasn't a bad process. Check in / check out are easy enough, their support team was pretty legit, the property was pretty nice. Can't complain about any of it. I'd go through them again.

They required all adults to check in over a mile away from the house, which was a serious issue because we did not have a vehicle and we have three kids that need carseat/boosters. We ended up renting a car just to complete check-in! Then, they wanted us to take an 8 page damage checklist to the house, fill out and return it within two hours! There were so many things wrong and broken - cabinet doors, window blinds, broken shelves on the bookcase, dresser drawers that wouldn't open, broken microwave, etc. They instructed us to wear plastic event-style bracelets for our entire vacation just to enter the house or we would be evicted. The never answered the phone, not once, and never responded to emails. The hot tub was not on and we couldn't figure it out the whole first day. Overall, the property was not bad but there were a ton of extra fees for really crappy service and the extra expense of a car rental made it not worth it. We could have stayed at the nicest hotel on SPI for the prices we paid. The tried to justify everything by saying there are a lot of Spring Breakers this time of year but we were just on a family vacation. We will never rent a house with this property manager again.The only positive was the pool and proximity to the beach.

For having to go through a property rental company, it wasn't a bad process. Check in / check out are easy enough, their support team was pretty legit, the property was pretty nice. Can't complain about any of it. I'd go through them again.

One criticism was some of the cable channels didn't work well if anyone was using the wifi. I agree that the walls and decor could use a refresh, but everything was clean. If you're not looking for 'fancy' and just want to chillax with family and friends, it is just right.

This house is in serious need of sprucing up. Furniture was dirty, stained and worn. The shower curtain in the hall bath upstairs had stains all over it. The walls could use a good coat of paint and furniture needs to be cleaned. Pool and hot tub were great! Location was close to the beach. I wouldn't rent this house again unless it was updated and cleaned.
