As our guests have stated and the review listed. Padre Island Rentals has a free towel and linen exchange for towels and linens provided by Padre Island Rentals; this is located on the east side (beachside) of the Padre Island Rentals building. Exchange hours are between 11 am and 3 pm daily. *Padre Island Rental's off-site 24-hour Guest Welcome Center makes check-in and late arrivals a breeze. Located on the ground floor are the living area, kitchen, and bedroom. On the second floor you'll find a child-sized loft and bathroom. When entering the room, there was a smell. The floor was full of sand. The restroom walls had holes in them and tape and float was falling off. the ceiling grid and ceiling tiles in the restroom are full of rust and almost falling out. the kitchen floor siding was missing and only the glue was visible on the wall. the dining table only had three chairs for a room that sleeps 6. the second floor ceiling you had to be crunching down to walk around as it is 5’6” and the whole apartment was full of cockroaches.

This property is not accurately posted online, the kitchen was nasty, the bathroom was nasty, roaches and most importantly AC DID NOT WORK! We had it set on 68 and it never got cooler than 77 in the condo. Horrible! The guy at the front desk the day of check in was incredibly rude! I wish I had not spent money on this DUMP!

The location was perfect and the condo building and grounds are well maintained. However, the unit we were in really needs a renovation of the main bathroom. The walls and ceiling of the bathroom really need a refresh. The two 11 year old's really enjoyed to loft with two twin beds and small sized bathroom.

My stay at Aquarius condominiums room 107
First off let’s start off with the pictures of what the site looked like, the pictures are a complete different take on what the apartment looks like. The bathroom was disgusting, the tub was clogged and filled with hair the ceiling was completely worn out and did not look anything like the picture. As for the kitchen there were little cockroaches in the kitchen and rooms and for the dinning room there were only 3 chairs for the table which is not useful for a group of 6 we had to use our coolers to sit down and eat breakfast. But the access to the beach was very convenient as it was a quick walk and direct path to the beach, especially with the little porch outside one of the rooms.

Wallpaper peeling , water soiled ceiling tiles, uncomfortable couch, the stairs were supported by 2 x6 lumber boards, peeling bathtub, patio door hinge rusted off, cracks and chips in main windows, bad seal on patio door so the wind whistles in second bedroom pretty much every day and night, the gate on the patio door latches from the outside only, patched walls but not sanded and re painted. The pool was cold! Barely usable for the 6 weeks I was there. The hot water heater broke and we had no hot water for 5 days and no water at all for 3. Had to use pool water to flush the toilet.

South Padre Island girls trip
Upon entry everything is clean. The beds were very comfortable. The only exit to the beach was not operable but maintenance came and replaced the lock very quickly. The loft is very short as stated and the bathroom is very short as well. We were 5"3 and could not use the shower. The easy access to the beach is what we loved the most. We could exit through the side door of the bedroom and lock with the key. It made it so much easier for us to come and go. I would reserve it again knowing what I know now. It could use some work in the main bath. Other wise, I was there for the beach not for fancy lodging.

Ceiling falling down in bathroom. Grandson saw a cockroach in upstairs loft bedroom on our last day. Dirt hanging off of ceiling fan in living room. Condo has the ability to be a cute place, but you can tell the owners put no money into keeping up with any repairs.

Not so happy
The room was alot smaller than the pictures led you to believe. The loft has a really low ceiling. For kids only.. and was hot, ac didn't cool it. The beach was so packed we couldn't put up our canopy and the pool area definitely needs more chairs and tables. Other Than that, it was good

This condo would have potential to be great! We are sure bottom floor owners may not want to put too much money in.
If this place had simple things like a working ceiling fan, take off the peeling wallpaper, add some nice paint, and it wouldn’t feel dingy.
Thankfully the property manager was very kind, and allowed us to move to a top floor condo. We stayed in 107 the first night, then made the change.
The property building is great. The staff were kind, the beach is beautiful, and it’s within walking distance to everything.
107 would be awesome with just a little effort. Other than that, we have no complaints.

The condo was clean and tidy. It had everything we needed. I was a little unimpressed with the condition of a few certain things; broken outlet covers, dirty ceiling tiles in the bathroom, and broken window pane in the living/dining room area. Over all we had a good time.

Horrible!!!
Very outdated, small uncomfortable beds, stains on ceiling, needs painting and roaches in the restroom made me sleep with one eye open. The only plus was the ocean view but no sliding door to directly exit room. Do not stay at this overpriced location!
