A full dining area, a charming kitchen with an island and additional bar stool seating, and a living room perfect for a family gathering or get-together with friends. This was a wonderful place to stay for our girls trip. The five bedrooms accommodated, the nine girls very comfortably and they were outstanding rooms. They had everything we needed for nothing. They have a awesome fire pit outside in Greenbelt right next to the house. We came down to play pickle ball in the community actually purchased new Pickleball nets because the old ones were in terrible shape. Super nice community.

My family and in-laws stayed at the Sky Blue Cottage over the weekend for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Once you turn in to Carlton Landing, you morph into a different time and scene. The community is comprised of beautiful homes like you would see on the coast. There are kids riding their bikes around town, adults going for a jog or walking their dog, just a laid back care free theme. The property was as described and was perfect for our family. My only complaint with the property was the television service. We had several small children and had it not been for the DVD's we had with us, they wouldn't have had tv to watch because the cable service was in and out every 5 minutes. Other than that small issue, the home was perfect. We walked around the entire community, went to a fish fry that night and just relaxed. If you're looking for an escape, this is the place.

What a wonderful vacation at Carlton Landing! Our first visit to this tucked away resort will surely not be our last! Such a quaint little neighborhood on the lake with lots of sidewalks, green grass and pretty flowers! Great place to meet family and just be together. Swimming pools, ping pong, bocce ball, food trucks and pop up shops on the weekends, peaceful strolls around the pretty properties. We stayed at Sky Blue, the perfect house for a large family. It was a corner lot with a park in the front yard. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Large front porch with swing and screened in back porch with picnic table. Fire pit and hanging lights. Wonderful vacation filled with memories!

This home is beautifully laid out and in the most perfect location. Comfortable beds, all the kitchen essentials for cooking at home, and plenty of beds for a large family gathering. We would have appreciated another roll of paper towels and a handful more trash bags. Given most cook meals at home while staying at CL, you have more trash and clean up needs. We would have also have appreciated the use of the cushions for the beautiful front porch swing. We tried to call to inquire about the cushion on Friday at 4pm before the office closed, but no return call. You can never go wrong with a stay in Redbud Park and one of the wonderful homes.

fit 3 families easily
We had three families (12 total people) and it fit everyone easily. We even had an extra bed available. Great location to both pools and the Bocce Ball courts. We rented a golf cart (highly recommend) to get around to the different locations. Great spot, we would stay here again.

The house and community is absolutely perfect for a lake getaway with a large family. We had 4 kids and 6 adults on our trip, and we stayed 5 nights. The house sleeps 12, so it was perfect. The way it lays out, the patios and entryways, how it is positioned on the park, accessibility, all of it was great. The dishes and appliances provided were also wonderful!
I have a couple pointers for future renters..... 1. If you are staying more than 24 hours you will need to bring your own trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, counter top cleaner etc. We stayed 5 nights and there was probably 24-28 hours worth of most provided. We ended up buying more of everything by the next day, and there are dollar stores in town 10-15 min. 2. if you plan on grilling (like we certainly did), it is not at the property, it is 1-2 blocks away. We had rented a golf cart (which was awesome) and one would hold the food in between two cookie sheets and cooking supplies and the other would drive to the grill and back. It worked great! Love Love Love, and recommend. The staff was extremely helpful when I had any questions or needed anything :)

The problems with the property and the service were: No A/C downstairs, TV did not work in any rooms, not enough toilet paper/paper towels, lack of high level customer service dealing with all issues. I am not mad at anyone. I hope that there was a lot learned about preparing in advance for quests and having someone on-site to deal with all problems. I could go into more details and share my opinion of what should have happened if you would like to call me. I appreciate the use of the second house. I will be back to visit Carlton Landing again. We used Sky Blue Cottage for a strategy meeting for a group of 5 leaders over a couple of days. The home was laid out perfctly for our meeting and there was plenty of room to spread out when needed. There are a few minor things that need to be addressed. Larger TV in the main room. There were blinds missing in the living room and one of the bedrooms. The water pressure was pretty bad. Not sure if it was the shower heads or poor pressure but several guests mentioned it. We will diffintley book again when the need arises.

Our family loves coming to Carlton Landing! This was our second trip this year and we will plan for a third visit during the holidays. Our family needed a large house to accommodate for the extended family who traveled in from various destinations. The bones of this house was beautiful and future guests won't be disappointed. It comfortably housed all of us and the kitchen, screened dining room and upstairs balcony were particularly nice for the family to congregate. The towels were fluffy, the beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. Our disappointments were that the house could be tidier. The floors and stairwell were dusty and had large dust bunnies floating about. We had little ones who were crawlers so it became a concern. There were also empty juice boxes thrown to the corner of the upstairs balcony and some of the water closets did not appear as if they were recently cleaned. The house also came with only 2 dishwashing detergents and 2 laundry detergents. For a house at that rental price point and is meant for 14 guests, it would be reasonable to expect guests to do a couple of washes per day and especially if the house is being rented for more than 2 days. Or at least inform the guests so they know to bring those supplies. The property management company generally responded quickly on all the questions we had. The one question we did not receive any response was relating to the kayaks. The code we were given to unlock the kayaks did not work and we never got it rectified. Nonetheless, we had a fun time puttering on the beach and the kids got to splash in the community pool. Fun all around.
