Beautiful villa "di Vinci", renovated, surrounded by fields and vineyards. Outside the resort, on top of a hill. For shared use: property. Private: large, well-kept garden with lawn and flowers, swimming pool (6 x 12 m, depth 140 - 170 cm, seasonal availability: 29. Mar. - 25. Oct.). We had a lovely stay in this grand 19th century villa with views front and back across the countryside. The rooms are all large with high ceilings and period style furniture, renovated in the style traditional of country houses we have used in Spain and Italy. Everything works and the kitchen is well equipped. There are fly screens on all the windows so the only mozzies are ones you let in yourself through the front door. We stayed during the June heatwave so made a lot of use of the 12x6m pool which was well maintained (no shallow end, we bought a paddling pool for toddlers, also pool towels not provided). Areas for improvement: more shade by the pool, preferably easy to move around; proper gate to pool for safety of small children (it is not close to house, but would be wise). The house had no soaps or detergents which you often find, just inconvenient to find after you have shopped before arrival. To address comments elsewhere: it was 36-38C during our stay. Each bedroom had a large pedestal fan and that made heat bearable at night - top room was 30-32C at bedtime. Mozzies outside: manageable, but Tuscany Tiger Mozzies require DEET all day, evenings cover up too. We ate outside every night with a few bites. Any questions were quickly answered by owners.

We had a lovely stay. It is a beautiful region, and the host was very kind. We also really appreciated it was nicely cleaned. We were unlucky with the weather, and because of difficulties crossing the alps because of flooding, we arrived very late, outside of check-in hours. Nevertheless, the host waited for us, for which we are very grateful!

Not mentioned there was no airco.
Not mentioned there is a mosquito problem. You have to pay 6€ extra for the use of the washing machine. One day Electricity Fell out, and Another day the water supply fell out. You have to pay an additional fee to use the ping-pong table. Very difficult communication with the owners. (only Italian) Renting price is overdone.

Vi blev hjerteligt modtaget af det meget sympatiske ældre ægtepar, som bor på grunden. De talte kun italiensk, men kommunkationen lykkedes alligevel. Huset er gammelt og meget flot istandsat med smukke detaljer. Meget velfungerende og skinnende rent. Poolen er fantastisk! Huset ligger højt, og vi nød udsigten over det toscanske landskab. Der er ca 3 km til Vinci, hvor der er forretninger, restauranter og ikke mindst Leonardo Museet, som vi varmt kan anbefale. Det eneste vi savnede var AC!
