Location! Style! Elegance! This restored "beach" home is fabulous combination of everything a great vacation property should be. One half block to Duval Street in the historic district, this location can not be beat. The home's history is rich...neighboring the historic Gato Cigar factory which is now restored and used as county offices. Duval Square is directly across the street with three restaurants, shops, and even a salon and convenience store. The best homemade ice cream in Key West is just down the street! The house is beautifully decorated with warm colors, sophisticated furnishings accented with Cuban and beach themed artwork. There is both a living room and reading area in the front of the house and a indoor/outdoor room to enjoy the tropical lifestyle of Key West. A large farmhouse table sits in the sun room with french windows and doors overlooking the pool directly off the new kitchen with black granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The master bedroom is beautifully decorated with its black pencil post bed and unique bathroom with spa style vanity. The second bedroom sits to the back of the house and feels like the master suite with french doors to the outdoor sitting area and pool. The 21-foot long heat optional pool features benches on each side for relaxing (one with jets!) There is an outdoor table and nearby gas grill for outside/open air dining. keywords: House

Location: 1 mile from Mallory Square
House was very clean and well laid out. Good water pressure (it's never great in Key West). Landlord was very responsive.

This is a fantastic property. Very clean, very comfortable furniture, fantastic amenities (including coffee grinders that are not on the amenities list) and a fantastic location. We would definitely stay here again.
There is a little bit of noise. The generator of the municipal building next door did do a maintenance run Wednesday morning, the filter for the pool is right outside one of the bedroom windows. But these are essentially white noises that aren’t that loud. You’re also less than a block off Duval, and there are plenty of people walking around, but what do you expect; you’re less than a block from Duval. None of these issues would prevent me from booking here again, and I only mention them because I saw other reviewers mention them and wanted to give my two cents. As I said, overall this is an excellent VRBO property and experience.

The property was perfect for our grandparents, children, and grandchildren group and even exceeded our expectations. Property management was incredibly responsive to our minimal problems and proximity to Duvall was wonderful! Highly recommend!

My husband and I visited Key West with our 3 year old twins and my in laws and the house was PERFECT for us. Plenty of space and the house was stocked with all the necessities. The backyard although small felt like our own private oasis. The pool was awesome and great for a plunge after a day out. The location was perfect. Right off Duval but the street wasn’t loud or busy at all. Cute shops and restaurants at a stones throw and a Great ice cream place on the corner. Would stay here again for sure!!!

We've been to the Keys many times but not all the way to Key West. We really enjoyed the location and walked to everything we wanted to do.

This house was perfect for our family. We rented a golf cart for the week and we had a spot to park. The house came with some extras like hand soaps, laundry pods, garbage bags and spices. They also had nice bath and pool towels. The pool was a little chilly but our littlest didn’t mind. We would bring extra pillows next time. That was the only thing in the house that needed an upgrade. We would definitely stay here again!

No need to look any further. This property is perfect. From the check in process to the checkout process. No problems. The location is perfect, the house is perfect, and the temperature of the pool is wonderful. Plenty of room, everything is in great shape. We loved it and would love to come back.

Casa De Cuba hits the mark on everything! The location is perfect; walking distance to Duval, but yet quiet at night. Every amenity needed, is provided! Space/Rooms are more than enough, very comfortable for 5 to 6 adults. And the Pool was perfect for relaxing / spending quality family time together! Would highly recommend!

Charming house with great location
We had a fantastic one-week stay with our 2 teen children at this home. It is located near various good restaurants and a 15 min walk to Mallory Square. The home has a lovely plunge pool area for lazy afternoons and cozy spaces to spend time with each other and also spread out. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The house has lots of charm and we hope to return again soon.

Casa de Cuba is excellent. We spent a week, 2 adults and 3 teen/tweens and it was perfect. Very walkable to almost everything, but still on a quiet street, and the pool was well used between other activities. Extra large pool towels are a nice touch, and everything was well furnished.

The home is so well laid out , with space for everyone to relax . It is also beautifully appointed with lovely furnishings , a fully equipped kitchen, and impressive artwork. The beds and linens are extremely comfortable.
We spent the majority of our time around the pool area and shaded porch . It was the perfect place for morning coffee and afternoon naps.
A previous review indicated that the generator next to the property was a nuisance and a real negative. It only came on once during our week and I believe that you will either sleep through it or if you are an early riser, take a short walk to La Grignote for a cup of coffee and a delicious bakery treat. After 10 years, we have definitely found our perfect vacation accommodations in Key West. Thank you Dean for making our stay so comfortable and memorable . See you again next year!

Perfect Location
Well appointed clean home. It is in a quiet location but less than a block from Duvall. Easy to get anywhere in on Duvall. Pool does not get a lot of winter sun. But the landscape is very nice and makes for a lot of privacy.

Fabulous!!
We were in Key West for the first time to attend a wedding. We had our 24 year old daughter and 83 year old mother. This house was just so perfect for our needs. Many people from the wedding were so jealous as we had The Best place to stay.
This was my first time with VRBO but will not be my last. I will surely stay there again! Thanks Dean

THE perfect place!
This was our first trip to Key West and we picked the ideal house and location with Casa de Cuba. You are literally 1/2 block (if that) from all the action, yet you are totally secluded in your own private and peaceful oasis. The back patio and pool area are perfect to spend the evenings after a long day around town. The kitchen is well appointed with every appliance you need. Thank you for the awesome bean grinder for fresh coffee each day! The beds are super comfortable. You will not be disappointed! A few fun activities - we rented a private charter to see the sunset through Make It So Charters. Make sure and book the "wine & cheese" sandbar tour. Captain Todd is amazing and you will not forget the experience! A drive to Marathon Key to visit The Turtle Hospital was also well worth it! We'll be back to Casa de Cuba very soon - already working on our return date!
