About this house rental
Situated in Mendocino, this lovely house for $323 per night is a great option for your next break. Jade's Tower, with its sweeping ocean views, sits one block north of the Mendocino Headlands State Park. Two guests can enjoy the lovely garden that surrounds the tower. Downstairs there is a queen sleeper sofa with a flowering garden and pond just beyond the triangular glass paned windows. The spiral staircase leads to a airy room with a queen bed. In winter you may see the grey whales as they migrate down the coast of California, and in the Spring the headlands are covered with wildflowers. The galley kitchen, where simple meals can easily be prepared, opens onto a garden patio where you can enjoy your meal, or there is a cozy dining area in the main living space. If your prefer to eat out, all restaurants in the Village are a short walk from the tower. Art galleries, the Mendocino Art Center, Music and Film Festivals, Farmer's Market, Crown Hall, Sweetwater Eco Spa, Headland trails, and Portuguese and Big River beaches are also within easy walking distance.

The property was just right. The water tower is a unique and cozy property. There are views from every window. The kitchen windows overlook the lovely garden, and the bedroom windows offer stunning views of the ocean from which we were able to watch sunrise and sunset The property is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the water tower.

I don’t think we could’ve had a better experience at Jade’s Tower. Utter perfection, from the hosts(thank you Andy and Winnie) to the tower to the gardens, the location and the weather! A calm enveloped us as we entered the garden. So serene and quiet. Exactly what we needed. Thank you so so much! We will most definitely be back.

Physically beautiful water tower building with lovely decor, great ocean views and gorgeous gardens. Very comfortable home that is well-supplied for cooking and dining. Immaculately clean! Best place we've ever stayed! Mendocino is a wonderful place for a vacation. Jade's Tower is in an excellent location for walking to restaurants, shops, galleries and the beach.

Another great visit to the lovely village of Mendocino. The tower is nicely laid out and met all of our needs. We slept on the pull out couch downstairs, not wanting to risk our 77 year old bodies going up and down the spiral staircase in the middle of the night to get to the downstairs bathroom. It was quite comfortable and provided a peaceful nights rest. The restaurants were all great and the local bakery has expanded. Sadly the hotel bar and restaurant are closed down but there remains a good selection of excellent places to dine.

We stayed at Jade's Tower to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. It was lovely and one of the prettiest places we have ever stayed at.
The gardens are spectacular and a true original.
Hopefully we will be able to return in the near future.

What a beautiful spot! While the listing pictures accurately depict the views and charm of the space, the tranquil hum of all the beautiful birds and bumblebees enjoying the tranquil garden is something you have to experience in person. We were only in town for a wedding, but can now say we cannot wait to make Mendocino and this unique calming getaway a priority for annual weekend vacations.

This property is simply breathtaking, unobstructed ocean views, lush garden, comfortable bed, and right in the center of town. We were able to walk to dinner, walk to the bluffs, and it felt completely private.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this property. I took my mom to Mendocino for her birthday, and this was just the perfect place to stay. The windows look out on the bluffs and the ocean. We used both the bedroom upstairs and the pull out couch downstairs, and both were very comfortable. The gardens on the property are absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed. Great location and we walked everywhere in town. Overall this property is clean, very comfortable, well located and gorgeous inside and out. Easily one of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed in. We already can't wait to return!

We loved the property: private setting, right in town, everything within walking distance. One thing we often worry about when traveling is if the bed will be comfortable…and it was!!! We even take our own sleeping pads with us to place on top of the terrible mattresses many places have, we did not use our lads a single night on this trip.
This location is perfect for a quiet couples getaway.
