Located in Nantucket, this attractive house for $1,133 per night is a great choice for your next trip. All newly renovated and updated We just completed a top to bottom full renovation of the house. Renovation also included new furniture throughout the space This is not your typical antique in town home, the house was brand new in 2006 and just completed complete update to create an even more luxurious experience for our guests. The location is ideal for a Nantucket stay. 4 ½ Charter is located on a very quiet side street only a couple blocks from the center of town. Since the house is new the floorplan is designed for comfortable living with an open layout in the main floor and includes amenities like main a built in audio system which offers sound/music throughout the space, and modern HVAC for comfort. It has three separately furnished spaces: The well appointed kitchen which offers custom built cabinetry, commercial grade appliances, antique pine island, granite and marble surfaces, a dining area with a dining table which can accommodate 8 guests; and a living area with a fireplace, TV, DVD, Stereo system and French doors opening to a new multi level patio with seating and dining areas. The lower level is the size of a separate cottage with 10 ft ceilings. The space includes: A media room with a 70” plasma HDTV and 7.1 surround system with full theater effects; a large bedroom with a king bed; a bedroom with two twins high speed internet, fax, and printer; and a full bath. The upstairs has two master suites. Suite 1 has a king bed, sitting area, wall mounted 40” LCD TV, built in audio system, DVD, stereo, full ensuite bath with glass shower and free standing double ended soaking tub. Suite 2 has a king bed, day bed with trundle, wall mounted LCD TV, built in drawers, and a full ensuite bath. Outside there is recently built multi level patio with a sitting area off the living room and a dining area. Additionally there is an enclosed outdoor shower. The home is graced with antique wide plank oak flooring, wonderful fixtures and furnishings. Included in the house are highest quality bed linens, gas grill, and every amenity to make your stay on Nantucket a memorable experience. If you have not been to Nantucket you will discover there is no better place to in the world to spend time then in the heart of the historic district.

We spent a few days in Nantucket between Christmas and New Years. I reached out to the host to see if we could have a fire and he got back to me quickly with information about where to get wood. We had a beautiful fire 3 days in a row in the cozy living room. The kitchen has everything you could want with a cozy banquette and large dining table. Plenty of seating for watching movies both in the living room and family room.
The outdoor space looks amazing and it’s just an 8 minute walk to the movie theater, shops and restaurants.

The house was absolutely lovely. Well stocked kitchen, great layout throughout the house. The lower level bedroom now has built in bunks (three twins and a double) that offer more sleeping options that weren’t reflected in the pictures.

What a beautiful house! Would definitely recommend this house and look forward to staying again. It was exactly how it was listed maybe even better! Walking distance to town, gorgeous furnishings, and extremely clean. It was a perfect birthday celebration with my three daughters and partner. All five of us really enjoyed our stay. We loved our time at 4.5 Charter. This is a wonderful home in town and exceeded our expectations. Robert was so helpful in making the booking and provided valuable information about the house before we arrived. We loved our time so much that we already booked for next year.

My family and I stayed a week at this property and would do it again in a heartbeat. It was the perfect spot. We had three generations of our family in the home (8 people). Everyone had their own space, with lovely common areas to spend time and meals together. The home is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location to town is ideal, on a quiet side street but so very close to Main Street. Lastly, the owner was so fast to respond to any questions. Fantastic rental!

We had the best week in Nantucket and absolutely loved this house! The floorplan was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. The house had everything we needed. The location was unbeatable and the host was super responsive with helpful recommendations and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Highly recommend. Our entire group had a wonderful time and we'd love to stay here again!

Our family of 5 stayed here and we had a great time. No problem having the teens walk into town, and being able to enjoy amazing restaurants without having to drive was wonderful.
The house itself is just like the photos -- clean, modern amenities, and cute. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.
We loved our trip to Nantucket and we hope to stay here again in the future.

This was our second visit to this beautiful Nantucket property and our expectations were exceeded once again! The home is beautifully kept, stocked with everything you could possibly need and feels like a home away from home. The check in process was seamless and the host was so responsive. Wonderful house in all aspects. The beds were comfy which is a must when you rent.
The kitchen was well stocked with all sorts of equipment. The only down fall was there was no dish soap & we were asked to start the laundry but there was no laundry detergent in the house. Lucky the house is close enough to stop & shops.

This was our second year at Charter House and I was reminded immediately why we love this home. The location, the layout of the home, the kitchen, the backyard. All of it works to provide a fantastic home for time on Nantucket. You can walk to downtown, Mid - Island.... we even walked to Galley Beach for lunch. The layout really allows for group gatherings to include the kitchen, dining and living room. I like the two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and two bedrooms one bathroom downstairs as it really accommodates groups of people. Even with just two people staying, it felt special and our own for the week. Robert is great to work with!

We have been coming to Nantucket for years and without a doubt, 4 1/2 charter is one of the best houses we have stayed in! It is absolutely gorgeous with incredible design detail, light and space. We love to cook and the kitchen was fully stocked with any appliance you could imagine as well as a pantry of spices, oils, etc. The bedrooms were all very spacious and well appointed with great linens (and a large linen closet if you needed anything extra!). The bathrooms were also all equipped with both a bath and shower (some tub showers). There are smart TVs throughout the house, speakers and a wonderful fireplace we used almost every night! The street is very quiet and private, something we greatly enjoyed. The back space also was more spacious than we had imagined and ended up being a perfect spot for our two kids to play. Robert was a wonderful host and did whatever he could to accommodate our early check in as our flight plans changed and we had two young toddlers who needed to nap. I really can’t think of one thing to suggest that could have made our stay better. Do not miss out on this incredible home. We will be back!

This was the first time renting a house in town. We have all come to Nantucket for 25 years! Always stayed in summer at the beach. Changed it up this year and it was the quintessential Nantucket Fall Weekend! The house is perfectly located for a walk into town to shop and enjoy a restaurant. The house is located in the charming historical district and was beautifully appointed! The bedrooms had beds that gave us all the best nights sleep! We all love to cook and the kitchen did not disappoint! We totally enjoyed the outside area for cocktails and coffee in the morning. Robert was available for any concerns. Just a perfect stay!

Four ladies on a girls weekend and this was the perfect spot. An easy walk to town, very well appointed and comfortable, lovely patio for chatting over a glass of rosé. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house served us very well. Staying at the home were two sets of older grandparents, two teenagers, and myself and my husband. We put both sets of grandparents on the second floor and the teens, my husband and myself in the basement. Perfect setup. Everyone had their own space. The house is clearly well maintained and the craftsmanship performed to restore the home is incredible. Everyone was so impressed. The home was extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We cooked several meals at home for the entire family. The location cannot be beat. Super close to town and a 7 minute walk to Straight Wharf. We brought two cars. We never had an issue finding a second parking spot nearby. The outside patio was perfect for Happy Hour and gathering after dinner to discuss our day. Thank you so much for a wonderful week!

We stayed at this absolutely stunning home, and our jaws literally dropped when we saw it. Hard to believe, but it's even more beautiful in person! Perfectly located close to town, but on a very quiet street, this home was perfect for our family celebration of my mom's 80th bday. We had 7 people, and there was tons of room for all of us. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we cooked several meals and ate outside on the beautiful patio, surrounded by flowering dogwoods. Every single bed was soooo comfy, including soft sheets and high end down pillows. We've never slept so well! We were able to easily walk to Main Street, or down to the harbor to go kayaking. We rented ebikes and biked to Bartlett's Farm and another trip over to Sconset. We went to Cisco brewery and enjoyed the live music and food trucks. And we went to Jettie's beach and ate tons of oysters at buck a shuck! The house was covered in beautiful roses, and the street itself was so picturesque. I cannot recommend this home enough. The owner was extremely accommodating prior to our trip to arrange a delivery of a birthday cake before our arrival, and he allowed us to stay in the home a little longer than we should have so we could hide from some passing thunderstorm. I can't imagine a better place to enjoy Nantucket!!!

Furnished in Nantucket decor, the design was awesome and the bedding was comfortable and first-class! The location was spectacular, just minutes to the heart of Town. Their home was one of the more well – equipped homes I’ve ever rented. Jeanne and Jane, the Proprietors of Wildflower Concierge stocked our home upon my arrival and made the experience seamless. The attention to detail was spot on!! It was truly a vacation to remember!!

What a wonderful stay! The house is simply stunning, great layout and wonderful location. We brought a car but really didn't need it because it was so easy to walk everywhere. The kitchen is so well-equipped we didn't need a thing. The beds were amazing too - beautiful bedding and so comfy I slept later than I had in months. Overall, the perfect house!

Our family gathered for a week and enjoyed the comforts and beautiful design of this spacious 4-bedroom home just a couple of blocks from downtown. It's quiet, inviting, comfortable and has everything you will need for a wonderful getaway - a well-organized kitchen, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, washer & dryer off the kitchen, private patio for happy hour, easy access for bike riding and walking all around the island. Absolutely perfect house. Felt like "home" the minute we arrived. Immaculately prepared. Fit our family perfectly. Well situated for short walks into town (stores, restaurants, the waterfront and ferries).Especially appreciate that Robert went out of his way to help when we (stupidly) locked ourselves out. We'll stay there again and recomend it whenever we can.
